Mano gave Aaran a smile, "It's not a problem." It was merely what he believed and who he believed in, it wasn't as though he'd really done anything special. If it helped Aaran though then he was happy. His smile brightened as he added, "I am glad to help, you look far cuter when you're smiling so I am glad to see that your tears have dried." He gave him a little wink then. He wanted for him to be happy after all, not sad. Much to his surprise Aaran was suddenly lifting up to give him a kiss on the cheek, something that had him smiling brightly, his fin ears giving a little twitch, "You truly honor me with such a gift, my golden haired beauty." He murmured, giving Aaran a smile. It was a kiss on the cheek, a rather cute and innocent one at that, but one that he found that he quite enjoyed. Even more then the kiss he had to say that he rather enjoyed that cute blush that Aaran had on his cheek now. It was something that put a bright smile on Mano's lips, making him want nothing more then to drag Aaran in for more kisses but he'd attempt to behave himself. "Eh? Oh..." He blinked a couple times, then glanced away, "Ahh... I can't really say. It had been some time since I... left home, when I went back, after the war was over with, they weren't there." He couldn't say that he knew where they were, if they were still alive, or no, all he knew was they weren't in the last place that he'd seen them. Of course that had been some time, back when Mano was just a simple fisherman.

Aaran closed his eyes tight as he was complimented, again, but paid Mano a smile. Did he really look better when he smiled? ... He supposed it was good advice, really. A good smile was nice to have, and not making use of it was probably a poor choice, right? He sighed, leaning towards Mano again, and looked up to the other curiously.
"They weren't there?" He questioned, a slight pout forming on his lips. "... I understand that, I mean, being without parents. Do you think they're okay? Maybe they were captured? I hope they're okay!"
He blushed after his final sentence, his words coming out louder than he'd anticipated, and let out another sigh.
"I mean..." He paused. "... I don't want someone else to have to go through what I've been through, so... I hope they come back looking for you now that the war is over. And, if not..." He looked away, his shoulders relaxing. "I hope you find a family just as good as the one that took me in, so you won't have to be alone."

Mano wrapped an arm around Aaran who seemed to be quite cuddly all of a sudden, something that he would be a fool to shoot down. Instead he hugged him closer, resting his head against that of the pretty Wind Tribesman. He really was a lovely thing, the sort that he would love to keep with him though he kind of doubted he could really keep him though. He still meant to enjoy his time with him nevertheless. Glancing toward him he gave a slight shrug, "I... wish I could say. I was away from home for some time, unable to get home to them." He explained, thinking on it for a moment, "I can't say I know if they were captured my... ahh... Master, he didn't really let me out much without him there." He hated to admit to having a master, not wanting to be pitied, but it was a truth he couldn't really run from.
"I will keep my eyes out for them during my travels, of course, but even if I can't find them so long as I can keep making friends like you then I will be happy." He told Aaran, not wanting him to worry since he sounded worried about the idea of him being a family. He supposed that he was sort of used to it since he'd been on his own since the end of the war, save for the nice times that he'd found friends to spend time with.
Mano let his eyes close as he sat with Aaran, a smile appearing on his lips, "This is kind of nice, this makes up for the lonelier times on my journeys." He told him, rather liking the idea of getting to sit with him for a time just like this. At least until someone came to steal him away since that tended to be his experience thus far with such cuties.

Aaran allowed himself to be hugged, feeling oddly comfortable with Mano now, and made a soft pout. Master? What did Mano mean by that? Was he owned by someone? His gaze went distant at the thought of being owned and imagining all of the things he'd have to do for a master. Cleaning, cooking, all the restrictions... No wonder Mano was so cuddly! He must've been lonely under the thumb of a master for so long! He sighed and nuzzled into Mano's shoulder.
"You were a slave?" He asked, his brows furrowing. "No one should own another person, it's a basic right. I hope you're free now, otherwise..." He turned his gaze away, blushing. "... I'll help you escape, just as soon as I get my arrows."
He made a soft popping sound with his mouth at the end of his sentence and couldn't help but chuckle at Mano.
"Y-yeah, it does." He replied, gazing off into the distance again. "It... Really makes you feel calm, doesn't it? Not so tired and... Stuff."

Mano gave a smile, seeming to be rather content now that Mano was. He really was cute, wasn't he? It really did make him want nothing more then to pounce on him, snuggle him, and give him lots of kisses! He wondered if he might be able to get away with that? It was possible, especially given the way that Aaran was even nuzzling against him cutely like he was. That was the sort of encouragement that had the Matori man about ready to pounce then and there... at least until Aaran started to question him about the past that Mano had mentioned. It was something that had him giving reluctant pause, "Huh? Oh, yeah, I was taken by an Oban who needed someone like to train and serve it would seem." He made a little face at the thought. A soft laugh escaped from him as Aaran was suddenly declaring that he hoped Mano was free and that he'd help him escape otherwise, at least he would once he was able to get some arrows, "Ahhh, so you're an archer then?" He asked in a curious manner, giving a soft sigh. He couldn't say what sort of weapon he wanted to get his hands on. He had a weapon that he knew well, one he was trained with since he was taken in by his Oban master, but did he really want to take on the weight of the weapon the man had picked for him? It was something he was still debating really. Lifting a hand to stroke Aaran's pretty hair, "Calm? Yeah, calm and relaxed and just... content. It's nice to just sit down and rest like this from time to time. Especially with new friends." He knew that he enjoyed being right here with Aaran, wanting to stay with him for a while, or at least as long as he could before his wander lust kicked in again.

Aaran made a face. How could someone just take another human being from their home? People weren't property, they had their own free will and abilities. It was very wrong to keep someone as a slave, he thought, his face puckering into a more serious expression. One day, when he was strong enough, he'd bring all those who were separated back together again, even if it meant showing some people the remains of those they loved. He wanted all families to be as whole as possible, that was the way it was meant to be. He nodded to himself, let out a sigh, and blushed.
"N-not yet! But I want to be!" He replied, nodding. "My older brother left his bow and arrow to me. I want to honor him by following in his footsteps and being the best archer that I can be."
He leaned into the stroking hand and simmered down again. It was nice, this sort of contact. Honestly, it never occurred to him that he'd be able to have something like this. A chest to relax on, a hand stroking at his hair... It was... Pleasant. Just, very pleasant.
"... So, you said you travel, right?" He asked, turning his head up to look at Mano. "Where have you been on these travels? Any good stories to tell?"

Mano gave a smile as he continued to play with Aaran's hair, giving him a smile, "I am sure you will make a wonderful archer, just be sure to get a lot of practice in. I was told once that the most important thing is practice, practice, practice, if one wants to be good at anything. I ended up training day in and day out under my master's tutalage, it was quite exhasuting, but I did learn a lot." Even if it wasn't exactly what he wanted to learn at the time, if ever. Still, they were the sort of skills that he'd be able to use to protect his friends, right? It was something to consider at least.
"Yeah, I have been doing a bit of travel since I have been free to do so, it's been a lot of fun actually. I get to meet new people, see new lands, it's a learning experience for me since I was a bit isolated before now." He gave Aaran a smile, "I haven't gotten far yet, just a couple places in Sauti, but I am eager to see more of the world, to travel as far as I can, meet as many different people as I can. It will be quite a lot of fun I think!" He was excited to see more people, while he loved the Wind Tribe, finding them to be quite a beautiful people, he wanted to see more.
"Good stories? Hmm... well, I did meet a cute musician not too long ago. He was working on a song and I was able to help him with it. That was kind of nice, being able to help someone in that manner." He said, feeling that helping as opposed to learning to harm was a great feeling.

Aaran's eyes fluttered as Mano spoke. He seemed to be getting sleepy from a combination of the comfortable position he was in and the warmth of Mano's chest. This guy was oddly cozy, it was like he made the rest of the world go away. He fidgeted, gave a yawn, and blinked.
"Mmm, oh, cool!" He chirped, rubbing at his eyes. "You should go to Yera, in Tale, next. It's a really big village that everyone kinda stayed at when the war was going on. I think some of my friends are still there? I'm not sure who went home other than myself..."
His eyes drooped a little, signifying his growing tiredness, and only perked up when Mano mentioned meeting a musician.
"A musician...? Was his name Natsu?" He asked, is lips pursing. "He's a bard who took me in after I lost my family... He's really nice and so is his husband..." He yawned. "V-...Vive-ka-a..."

"Yera, huh? I will consider checking it out." It was a place that he would have to check out if it was as nice as Aaran made out. He didn't want to risk going to any hot spots after all, not when there was always that chance that a Fire Tribesman that knew Mano or his master might be around. He didn't really want to risk running into them, not wanting to be drawn back into their sway. Instead he'd stay with kind people, feeling that would be far more enjoyable.
Glance toward the sleepy looking Wind Tribesman Mano gave the man a smile before hugging him closer, "You sleepy?" He asked, unable to help but to smile at him, "Should you head home to sleep? I can help you get home then tuck you in! With kisses good night and everything." He added, giving a llittle purr and a wink. He couldn't resist flirting, even with Aaran looking as though he was ready to doze off any moment.
"Huh? Natsu?" He asked, then shook his head, "I don't know that name, though I must admit that you now have me curious. The one I met was named Kyrian, he was quite a sweetheart. I wouldn't mind meeting with him for a while. For now though I am quite happy staying right here with you."
