Palatine released a frustrated grunt as the youma moved about, chanting as he did so. It was nothing like the less intelligent youma she was used to fighting if she happened to go out on patrol. This one looked more human. In fact, it looked like a Senshi, dressed in the tattered remains of a fuku.
She half wondered if it'd really been a Senshi once, but she dwelled on the thought only long enough to determine she had to get to Ganymede before the same thing happened to her.
She avoided the blasts of hot air that sprouted from the ground, and put all of her strength behind a fist to the youma's jaw.
Palatine does 13 damage. She avoids the youma's attack.
Perdita grinned in response to Oberon's exclaimation.
“Just lucky, I guess!” she chirped.
So lucky she even managed to avoid the hot air rising from the ground in bursts. She jumped back before her legs could be burned, stumbling somewhat in unfamiliar heels before righting herself and peering at the youma. If she didn't know any better she'd say it looked like a Senshi.
In fact, it looked exactly like a Senshi, right down to the sailor collar and tiara. She wasn't entirely sure what that meant, but it was a fascinating concept. She'd have to make sure she did a thorough investigation of it later.
After they'd saved the captives.
Unlike Oberon, Perdita had a real metal rod in hand, so hers didn't burst on contact with the youma. She took another wild swing when she had the opportunity. Then she dashed back, cried “Touch of Plenty!” again, and made another duplicate of the rod to toss Oberon's way.
“One more after this one and then there won't be any left,” she cautioned him. “So make it count!”
Perdita does 7 damage. She avoids the youma's attack.
The youma senshi was literally bombarded with attacks from all angles and not matter how much he attempted to dodge he was got slammed immediately with another attack.
He cartwheeled about getting in close to anyone he could and grabbing hold to steal some energy, before tumbling around to the next. The lot of them deserved it and more.
"Fun, fun, fun ... its this so much fun. You left me to die there. Such fun. In a house of horrors. Horrible horrible, you will pay."
Quote:
In the interest of getting at least 3 rounds!
The youma is now stealing energy! The total of the dice will determine the amount of energy he gains. You character may or may not have been grabbed, its up to you. This will not effect your HP!
Glitnir was late, but at least he had finally found the place. It had to be the place, judging from the number of people gathered and attacking... something. Another senshi? It sure didn't feel like one. Spotting a familiar face, he ran up to Megrez and the strange new basic senshi she was trying to help back to her feet. "Megrez! What's going on?!"
Megrez wanted to ask how the Page knew her name, but names tended to be dropped a lot. He probably got her name from someone else. "We have a youma on our hands. A tough one. Don't be fooled by his looks; he's completely gone and it's too late to save him."
Glitnir felt a lump form in his throat. A youma that looked like a senshi and might perhaps have been one... it was tragic on a great many levels. "Damn... what did they do to him?" He swallowed nervously, trying to disperse the lump. "I guess all that matters is putting him down before he suffers any more, right?"
"That's right, Mars Page. Let's make it quick for him," Megrez said.
"It's Glitnir," Glitnir replied before hoisting his scales up. "All right. Here goes nothing." Taking a deep breath, he swung his scales with a shout, hoping to knock a chunk of dust off the broken creature.
Unfortunately, he was off his game, and the youma barely flinched at his hit. Lame. At least he was able to hop out of the way of the blast of air that came from the ground.
Glitnir hits the youma for 3 damage! The youma misses!
Eternal Sailor Tsui felt out of the loop, though it was admittedly her own fault. Her and Maddie had been more or less 'abducted' to visit their mother and Jacob, and of course, him though any actual animosity she held towards her rats' namesake was more or less for show and very few of it was genuine. Little did she realize just how horrible her phrasing of 'abducting' was when she explained her absence to her fellow PSSG members, as apparently, the Negaverse had taken up to capturing a few of their senshi and knights. She felt like a tremendous a*****e, but then again, Tsui was more than willing to make up for that by accompanying them to the funhouse.
The last time she was here, she didn't have too fond of memories, and this time would apparently be no different, sadly. This time, the youma that greeted them struck a nerve of terror that Tsui didn't want to openly admit to. She had known that Negaverse officers could have become youma, as the fate of Bazzite tore at her constantly beneath the surface. It chased her away for awhile, and still, remembering seeing the youma brought bile to her throat, much like this one did now.
"Ugh, will someone just shut the thing up?" Tsui growled, trying to ignore its taunting words and moving in for the attack, and she took tremendous joy in driving her fist into it, but at a heavy cost. Suddenly, the youma grabbed her, and she felt her knees buckle. It took her a moment to realized what had happened, but by then, he had cartwheeled to another target, leaving Tsui still standing, but slightly winded now. "s**t... you'll pay for that! My energy doesn't come cheap!"
Tsui attacks youma for 6 damage, but energy is drained!
Lucasta darted away once she landed back on the ground, making every effort to avoid any stomping feet. There were a number of people about, all in danger of stepping on a cat who insisted upon being in the thick of things, but she never once thought of sitting out or hanging further back. That simply wasn't her style. When a foot descended dangerously close to her tail, she hissed and swiped at it with her claws, sending the culprit stumbling back with a cry.
“Watch yourself, fool,” she cautioned them.
She did not bother to consider the fact that the youma looked like a Senshi. Lucasta had no delusions of saving him at this point and felt nothing but pity for him. It would be kinder to end his suffering and put the poor soul out of his misery. No doubt he'd endured much before becoming this.
Lucasta darted forward again when she deemed it safe enough. This time she sank her teeth into one of the youma's calves, puncturing through skin and muscle.
Lucasta does 19 damage. She avoids the youma's attack.

"They will all be freed and they will punish you. Punish you your laziness, for letting them suffer. They are going home. Going home to the darkness!"
He felt invigorated as he moved about quickly, cartwheeling and tumbling and laugh manically. He suddenly stopped and held his hands out turning in a circle shooting out colorful plastic balls at an incredible pace.
"What fun! What fun! I might take your starseed tonight! What fun and yummy treat to boot! This is better than the slide, no! Better than the mirrors, no! So much fun, much fun to be had in my house!"

Round 2 - 11:10pm ... next roll 12:10 unless he dies.
”Lucky?? You call this lucky?? This is amazing!” he shouted over the chaos that was erupting around them. He was very much enjoying Perdita’s ability to kick a** using and duplicating common items. “What the hell are you the senshi of, anyway??” he wondered, not remembering if they actually got that far in explaining things to each other. After all, they were a little distracted by everything that was going on.
“I’m the senshi of Adventure… not that I can do much,” he frowned, wishing that wasn’t the case. Of all the things he could possibly do with adventure he was stuck with some pretty lame magic. But that didn’t matter right now. As long as they were able to take care of the youma, it should be fine, right?
And then they would be able to find their family and friends, right?? And he wouldn’t be the horrible brother who didn’t seem to care. It wasn’t that he didn’t care. His brother was just… he tended to be rather annoying at times and didn’t understand him. But that didn’t mean he wanted him to be tortured or whatever was going on.
Oberon took the weapon and leapt forward again, letting out a yelp in surprise when the youma cartwheeled his way. Luckily for him, he managed to avoid being grabbed, and swung the temporary weapon at the youma as it passed.
Well one thing was for certain... the youma made itself a somewhat recognizable target for how much it liked to bounce around. Who was they? Whom were the ones going to supposedly punish them? A sick sensation settled in her gut but Metis kept throwing the last of the concrete pieces she had access to. She didn't trust to use her magic yet. Not with the risk of others getting caught in the cross fire.
For letting them suffer. They'd already found the General with the dead civilian. Kidnapped senshi and knights... another silent prayer then. That they were still alive, still human. That this creature was only there to distract them and horrify them.
If not be a tad annoying, she noted with a shutter as some of her... energy drained? Stumbling a little, she scowled towards the ever moving figure. Her steps were shaky but once again it was somewhat in her favor, managing to get out of the way of the creature's path as it zipped past her.
Metis hit the youma for 7 points and avoided the attack!
Throwing rocks wasn't really Cybele's style, but style wasn't really that important right now. When the youma started to move, however, and everyone else started to move, it stopped being even a temporary option. Grabbing another, heavier stone, she ran after it, weaving through rows of people and narrowly dodging an attack of something small, colorful, and dangerous looking. ...Plastic balls?
Finally, she caught up with it as it was muttering something about starseeds and horror. It was creepy, and disturbing, but mostly it was sad. Very sad."I"m sorry," she whispered, then repeated it, louder, almost like a battle cry. "I'm sorry!" Her voice cracked, but her aim, when she brought down the rock, was perfect.
Cybele has inflicted 20 damage and avoided the attack!

Whimsical Blue rolled 2 20-sided dice:

"Tsui, be careful!" Ida called as she recovered from the hot air blast, seeing her friend take a hit from the monster. Concern rippled through her, tightening her lips as she ran to intercept the creature.
She hit it hard and danced back out of the way, trying to dodge the other senshi and knights attacking the small, singular target. Bright plastic balls began to fly in all directions and the senshi ducked as one flew at her head, missing in that instant the one that came from behind and hit her hard. She stumbled to her knees with a hiss of pain and rolled to the side to avoid more hits.
This monster was not going to go down easy... but she was if she wasn't more careful. Already she felt winded and bruised.
Punish you for your laziness, for letting them suffer. Themiscyra's eyes widened at the taunting, something she'd been trying to shut out of her mind entirely. Youma taunting wasn't abnormal, nor did she think to put any stock in what it dared to say. But she had to admit.
She was getting pretty damn tired of its freaking voice.
As the youma continued to cartwheel about and tote about its aggravating words, Themiscyra tensed, and in a moment, figured <******** it. While not as fast as others around her, the Page bolted into the path of the youma, and though the act got her quite the wallop from its flailing limbs, it put her into the perfect position to let fly a few choice punches and kicks to the creature.
And if was a senshi they couldn't save?
Wouldn't it be all the better then to end its suffering sooner?
Themiscyra hit the youma for 20 points and took 9 damage!
Due west, just as Phact had said, towards the Fairgrounds, where a mix of signatures weaved a trail towards where the captives were being held.
Mindful of how fast she had been running, Sidouer glanced over her shoulder noting the growing proximity as they lengthened their strides in haste. One of the benefits of daily jogs, it took longer to finally get winded; Phact however… “Are you okay?” she hollard slowing her pace just a bit till they were shoulder to shoulder.
Phact could jump and cover great distances at a time, however she was not someone who pushed herself on a daily bases. So it was not missed on her that Sidouer was slowly down for her sake. The senshi knew her friend could leave her in the dust if need be. But now, Phact knew that wouldn’t happen. Sidouer was worried about her both mentally and physically. That arrow had hurt…
“I’m fine. Keep going. Something is really off.” Phact said motioning forward with her gaze. “Get there and make sure they aren’t using hostages. I’m right behind.” Or as close as she could be.
Sidouer gave her a curt nod of the head then, as per her response, picked up speed. The weather had an added bite of cold to it as it wiped past her stinging the outer shell of her ears and tip of her nose. Jack Frost was out and it seemed as if he may have brought some friends.
Minutes passed before she skid to a hault. Before the duo a brawl seemed to have broken out yet who was really the enemy here. A mix of order and chaos thrown together like a queen bee that had happened upon the wrong hive. Where instead of attacking each other in their fury, they seemed focused on a single individual.
Cold air burned Sidouers lungs while her heart raced, not from panic or fear, just from the steady they had kept to get here in time. “If we’re going in there to help, May I suggest you use your attack?” she quirked an eyebrow but never took her eyes off the brawl.
Phact made it just in time to hear Sidouer’s request. She had moments to take it all in before nodding, doing her best to ignore the fact her legs were in no way shape or form made for running long distances. ”Couldn’t say it better myself. You know what to do after that. ” Shooting a glance towards Sidouer, Phact closed the distance between herself and the brawl.
Dropping her head, Phact let out cooing noise. ”Cooing Softly” And with that, a white form appeared next to her. As soon as Phact’s head came back up, it was off straight at the creature everyone else was focusing on.
”Now!” She called out to the woman behind her.

Cooing Softly Bowing her head slightly, Phact begins to release the sounds of a dove’s soft coo. As she lifts her head upward, the white energy form of a dove appears in front of her. "What did they do to you?!" Glitnir asked, though even he knew it was a waste of breath. The former senshi was beyond reason, beyond any attempt to reach him. At the very least, his motivation could be gleaned from his deranged ramblings. They had waited too long to save him from his fate, and understandably, he was angry about it. Was he present enough to truly rue his fate, or was he just a mass of unintelligible anger that sparked in what was left of his mind and commanded him to get his revenge? "Damn. I'm sorry... It doesn't mean anything that I'm sorry, I know, but the least I can do is give you the peace you need."
"Stop talking to him. Nothing can bring him back," Megrez said.
Glitnir gave Megrez a glare (he knew that, but dammit, it didn't make this any less painful) and took another swing at the youma. This time he landed a more solid hit, and a well-timed hop to the side saved him from balls to the face (don't even go there, he would have thought if he had the time to do so). Not bad, but now was not the time to get too proud.
It didn’t take any prompting for Sidouer to run towards the group of senshi and knights. Despite all consequences or ramifications of their actions youma dusting was what she had grown use to doing. Creatures of various shapes and sizes mumbling incoherent grunts and curses only to be dusted in the end. But this… this one seemed to be quite different in the way it looked… looked like one of them though severely disheveled and wild looking.
Placing her hands on her elbows she ran her palms the length of her forearms then slid her foot forward and called out her attack “Static Shock!” as she reached out towards the youmafied senshi releasing a arch of static in his direction.
Sailor Scout Attack: Static Shock Sìdòuèr targets one opponent within 6'-6" of her current location. Rubbing her hands together she forms a ball of static energy forms in the palm of her hand as an image of a Kirin begins to form it then charges/arches towards the intended target. If the ball of static energy hits, it gives the single opponent a nasty shock it may numb the area where the opponent was struck (but it will not paralyze them) and, if a battle takes place at night or in a dark area, there is a chance of the opponent's vision being either momentarily blinded or seeing the afterimage of the shock for 2-5 seconds (it is the exact same effect as if you are standing in a dark room and someone flips the lights on then off really quick you'll see a bright probably blue after image lingering in front of you while your eyes adjust). If the opponent is more than 6'-6" away from her the static shock will still reach out towards the opponent but fizzle out. This attack can be used 3 times per battle.
