Hijil was slightly pleased with how the fight was going. She felt that she really, truly, was proving herself to her teacher, showing him what she had learned.
She could never thank Rayolun enough for teaching her to hunt and trap. That was why she could stand here today, why could even think about finding Bhima, why she was here at all.
Why she was Hijil.
She was tiring, though, bit by bit as the poison ebbed through her system. Its effects were fading but the damage – whatever it had done – was done. She was slowed, and though she raised her gautlet-ed fists to block the incoming attack, she was just a bit too slow. The trident came in through her guard and she found herself knocked down. Defeated.
She looked up at him, and gave him an achknowleding nod.
”I still have much to learn.” she admitted. But she had, she thought, done well...
