Yeah. It really does.

I hate that picture. It does the movie absolutely no justice.

I just got back from the movie... it was life changing... I could sincerely see Erik blowing things up to the 1812 Overture... Although I think V was a little bit more together than Erik was.

Oh yeah. Wasn't is just great, Baka? Now you see why I endorse it so.

I didn't. I just thought it was another comic-book movie.

Nor did I. Once I started reading the graphic novel, though, I really got the Phantom-vibe. I even considered whether Alan Moore received inspiration from Gaston Leroux, or the variations of his story.

I'm in love with V. I'd never considered Hugo Weaving attractive until I saw this movie. His voice makes me melt.

Oh my god! It just hit me!
The killer one liners
Killing in the name of one specific thing
The crazy way he kills
The killing someone in the shower
Not always being deformed

He's not just any Erik...V is certainly more together than Leroux's Erik or ALW's Erik.... he's just like Erik Destler! O_O *jaw drop*

Hannibal Lecter M.D.

His voice makes me melt.

omigosh heart I totally melted too. I was just like "Take me away too V! I hate the gov't just as much as you!! crying ....we could orchestrate such beautiful explosions together."

and was I the only one who gigled when she kissed his mask?

*copy and pastes quote of V's verbose verbiage in hopes of memorizing* ^.^

-*le revelation* We should petition for Guy Fawke masks eek

I made a half-assed paraphrasment of V's words
Here before you is a modest former performer, cast as a substitution as both victim and villain by the the changing ways of Fate. This appearance, no mere superficial display (mask) of vanity, is a mark left behind from the popular sentiment, now emptied, gone as the once vital voice of the what appeared to be real now honors what they once slandered. However, this brave visitation of a by-gone source of trouble, stands with renewed life, and has vowed to vanquish these corrupt and malice-filled pests leading an army of moral depravity and supporting the demolition of free will. The only justice is vengeance; a prolonged series of retaliatory or hostile acts, held as a candle (light), not in vain, for the value and devotion to truth of such shall one day avenge the watchful and the good. In truth, this complex mixture of diction really has more words than a normal introduction, and so it is my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V.

I will memorize his monologue.. I will

So vichyssoise means complex mixture... when I looked it up I got "n : a creamy potato soup flavored with leeks and onions; usually served cold" sweatdrop

And oh, I memorized his monologue. It's rather enjoyable to say it out randomly to anyone and see how they react. Most say "What?" blaugh

That is the dictionary definitiion but I doubt that is what he means...it's probably a metaphor

That's what I figured, when I looked it up and saw "soup" as the definition, I figured it just meant a concotion or a combination of things. I enjoy how he twists the langauge and slips in some French to get all V's in a row xd
