Those gathered were starting to make the siblings nervous. Halisi heard whispers and shouts from lions as they came in, and even some non-lions that were seers from the roguelands, all talking of blood and darkness. She worried for the cubs she helped watch more than anything, but all this talk was making her wonder if something was coming that would be a danger to everyone in the Pridelands. She shivered just a bit, his paws anxiously kneading the ground.
When someone brought up the fact that blood was a part of hunting, she relaxed. That much was true. She had been a huntress before changing jobs and she had been very good at bringing down the prey that was chased or herded to her, and she could confirm that blood was a big part of hunting. But the darkness...that was still a mystery.
Tau's voicing of a long eclipse, in turn, made Amri relax a bit as well. He had lived through an eclipse here and there, and a long one wouldn't be too bad. It would end, eventually, and the sun would come out once more. A long night didn't startle him much, as he was usually out and about in the evening and the dark. He loved the stars and the stillness and the cool air the evenings offered, and he wouldn't be too upset with darkness that lasted longer than the daytime.
He could tell Halisi was still a bit stressed, so he moved over to nuzzle her affectionately. "Hey," he said softly, a tiny smile on his face. "Don't worry too much, okay? That's my job. And blood and a long night really shouldn't worry us too much, right? We're lions...we can handle a little darkness and some blood."

Orlan had been on her way to see what the summit was about, when she had spotted a familiar lion none too far from her. She was of course eager to go and see what he was up to, since it seemed like he was heading in the same direction as she was. Everyone wanted to know what was going on, and why all the seers were on edge recently. She, too, wished to have some answers to things. "Kimondo!" She called, though soon hushed herself when she saw he was speaking to what looked to be some kind of cheetah. A very injured one at that. But he was speaking of strange things, and it made her stomach tighten into a knot. Was this the kind of thing the seers in the pride had been dealing with? Slowly, she made her way over to the lion and the cheetah, offering them both a meek smile in greeting. "Don't let me interrupt," she said softly. Janga looked over at his brother and the female lion he was with, frowning thoughtfully. "I don't know," he offered the two of them, "I never saw any hyena, or anything, so I guess I'm not much more help in figuring out what was going on." Some, though, had seen lions as well as other glimpses of things that he had not seen. Still, none of it really helped clear up what was going to happen, at least not in his mind. Nor did it help him feel more relaxed, either. If anything, hearing all their hints and thoughts made him more nervous than ever. The though of hyenas troubled him, but no one seemed to have mentioned anything about them yet. Hopefully, it stayed that way. If they weren't seen, it might mean they won't be involved. Then Dayo spoke, and he smiled at her. She had tried to be positive about things, and that was probably why he enjoyed spending so much time with her. It was nice to hear a lighter perspective on the matter, and really, the idea of it being a hunt was something he hadn't considered. "I'd been so quick to assume it was a bad thing," he sighed softly, "I suppose there is a chance it could be a hunt of some kind. And an eclipse... that does seem to bring on long spans of darkness... so at least we know when it may happen. Such an event is generally hard to miss. Still, I wish we knew more of what was going to happen." He frowned at Dayo, though he was thankful she had helped him feel less like they were all going to die immediately. Saniya, meanwhile, continued to remain in the back of the pack, hesitant to voice anything. Besides, it didn't seem like she really had anything new to bring to the table. They had all seen the same kinds of things. Maybe it was better if she just continued to watch, shifting awkwardly from paw to paw. If only her brother were there! He would at least be able to provoke her into speaking. Who would have thought that she would become so shy, when she had lived in a place that was ruled by making yourself known and seen as a threat? It bothered her, but not nearly as much as the thought of something happening to her home.

Nondo'vuta noticed some other approaching and looked from her fellow guardian Calypso, to Orlan and the others. She had to admit that she needed to get to know more names in the pride. There were so many names and faces that sometimes it could all just become a blur. She nodded to them with a serious expression, and noticed that one in particular was very quiet. Leaning towards Saniya, her blood red eyes looked her over carefully. "You okay?" Her voice could be gruff sometimes, but it was tinged with concern. "I'm sure all of this is nothing to be worried about." She wasn't convincing herself, but today, Nondo decided, was an exercise in reassurance.

Kimondo's ear flicked when he heard his name being called. That voice, he recognized it! It was nice to see, or rather in this case hear someone he knew. Kim smiled happily when Orlan came over, although his eyes kept shifting between her and the cheetah. A troubled look covered his features. Oh dear gods the cheetah looked like he was going to keel over and die at this rate. Wheezing and attempting to speak in a panic... "Um. H-hey, calm down alright?" He spoke without quite knowing what to say. "Maybe you were just having a bad dream." Although as he spoke those words Kimondo knew that he held no certainty in his tone. He then turned back and smiled at Orlan. "It could have been just a bad dream right? Or like the others are saying, maybe something happening during a hunt."Lindani shook his head. "No, it's... it's fighting and blood. And darkness." He added. His good eye that wasn't partly fogged over with an oncoming blindness shifted between the pink manned lion and the new blue and white one. He knew what he said was a vision. He knew, others were having visions similar to his it just had to be a vision! With a wheeze hidden in his sigh the cheetah sat down as standing was exhausting him. "I... I just know that's what happened. I was so scared, there is no other explanation..."

Mpapuro stuck her tongue out at the brown lion, but her smile ruined the expression. It was true, her coat was a bright yellow instead of the brown she'd Seen, but that didn't mean she had nothing to do her.
"That may be so, but I still don't see why everyone's all doom and gloom about this," she replied. Her deep blue eyes looked around with cheery interest at the group that had gathered. People she'd never even suspected of being Seers, even a cheetah from out in the rogue lands had come!
She also liked King Tau's idea that there might be an eclipse. She hadn't seen one of the strange and rare events and welcomed such a new experience.

Definitely fighting... That could change things. Nondo'vuta could sense a ripple in the group, perhaps of anxiety, though it was probably just her perception. Fighting... Was it wrong for her to be slightly excited? Probably, but you could bet she wasn't going to let harm come to anyone in the pride, not if she could help it.
Judging by Lindani's reaction, it must have been terrifying indeed to be subject to one of these visions. Nondo probably would have shrugged it off as a dream if she'd seen it, as to be fair she had a lot of dreams about battle.
She supposed being a seer was different, they seemed to know when it was a vision, and not just a dream, or something else... And for them all to see the same thing, it was concerning.
Nondo wasn't sure what an eclipse had to do with anything, but kept her mouth shut. An eclipse could explain the darkness, perhaps, but what about the blood?
Looking at Mpapuro with a strange expression she spoke slowly. "It seems some are sure that it is not a hunting accident... An eclipse could be probable..." She would fare well in the dark, she supposed, aside from the flashes of silver that adorned her body like armour. Alili would certainly do well, especially if there was blood... Her childhood mentor was almost entirely black and red.
"We may need some more soldiers... Just in case." She glanced sideways at Calypso. "There's no harm in preparation."

Green looked first to Kushindwa, then his brother, Janga. While one brother promptly brought up a worst-case scenario, the other seemed to temper any fears. He was, after all, the Seer between the brothers. She looked at the sky, though avoided direct staring at the sun. "Do you think we need to make some sort of sacrifice...?" Why had her mind gone to sacrifices? What had brought such an idea to her? Then she gave a small laugh. "Kill a small prey animal at the very top of Pride Rock..." Would that make some unknown gods happy? Like any Pridelander, she'd not been raised with any particular beliefs in gods. Her father had taught her and her siblings about the Circle of Life. So what would a sacrifice even do for them?
He gave a slight scoff. "We don't need to make a sacrifice. Who or what would we even make it TO?" He lay down, lest he flop over in a most ungraceful manner. "It might be hyenas, it might not be hyenas, it might just be a hunting accident... It might be an ECLIPSE..." And of course, brown bodies and blood on the grass... Suddenly he shot up, his mind having also gone to the Circle due to the questioning of what a sacrifice would do. "What if the Circle of Life is being broken?!" He wobbled, then dug his claws into the ground. No! He wasn't falling over! He was going to be... Well, not a failure at just standing or walking. What would happen if the Circle of Life WAS broken? What would happen to all of them? Would they all just die? Mental images of lions born as adults and aging backwards came to mind. Actually, no... That wouldn't work spectacularly well, would it? How would a cub give birth to an adult? Unless they started to suddenly lay eggs that could grow...

Erevu had intercepted the visitor at the border.
Glancing over his shoulder, he gave the gray lion a curious look; it was always strange to him, seeing lions with pelts other than the common variety of browns. Very curious indeed. Apparently, the visitor, Faraji as he introduced himself, needed to go to… A big rock? Erevu, of course, ventured to guess he was talking about Pride Rock. And all he intended to do was give the male a glimpse of it from the side; it was a bit too late for a tour, in his opinion.
Approaching Pride Rock with his silent companion, mind whirling with questions, he paused for a moment, nose picking up a scent before his eyes laid on the gathering. What… what was going on?
He heard a deep rumbling behind him, the gray lion speaking to himself, before moving forward. Why was everyone gathered here? Slowly, he joined the thong of lions, hesitantly glancing face to face.
The visions were painful. Nothing he ever felt before. And the actual vision itself? Doubled the discomfort tenfold.
Pausing every now and then as he was assaulted by a bolt of pain through his body, Faraji tried to keep up. Darkness. Stars momentarily peeking, but not… they didn’t hold any pleasant feelings. The ground he walked on, wandered on, was slick. Darkness.
And beyond all he couldn’t see… a fear that sped up his heart, a panic that threatened to crumble him to the ground. He wanted to duck tail and run… he couldn’t. Faraji pressed on, spotting the rock. He saw this rock, when the visions first began. A brief glance. He had heard of it, knew where it could have possibly came from. And now, he’s found it.
And upon that rock, was a gathering of lions. Not feeling all out of place among these Pride Landers, Faraji’s blue eyes scanned the crowd. ”I’ve had a vision, Pride Lander…” Faraji admitted in a low tone, eyes glancing at the shocked ruddy ones of his escort. He moved into the crowd; he needed to find someone to tell.

Even more lions approached the gathering and Halisi couldn't help but notice the number of rogues was growing. Why would all of these Seers have similar visions? Especially those that weren't in the pride? It was terrifying to think about and the suggestion that they were of a hunt was slowly starting to lose the confident hold it had on her. Surely only bad things were foretold like this. Never in her life had she seen an entire gathering of Seers all saying the same thing. Her brother's words fell on deaf ears, her concern too high to focus on what he was saying.
Amri, on the other hand, was still confident that this vision thing wasn't bad. Or, wasn't devastating at the very least. It was his naive nature that helped him not to worry so much and his optimistic side that kept Halisi from bolting as it looked like she wanted to.
"Hal, don't worry," he said gently. "We're in a huge group here, what could possibly happen now?" He felt that it would be more dangerous to leave now that so many had gathered. What force could reckon with them like this? None that he could think up. Of course, that wasn't really saying anything. He wasn't the most imaginative lion out there.

Thinking about preparation and what she and Calypso needed to do, Nondo'vuta was starting to get a little impatient. Not knowing what was going to happen had started to open up the pit in her stomach and she had to try hard to stop sense from falling into it. The amount of rogues at the gathering was growing, and she kept her face neutral, but her tail flicked to and fro like an agitated serpent.
Though Amri spoke the truth, there could also be someone somewhere that was hoping to lure the Pridelanders into a group. Though not all the Pride was here, far from ti, there was still a large number of lions, including the royalty. The adolescent shifted her body to stand a little higher and her blood red eyes grazed the horizon warily.
Looking over to one of the lions who indeed seem to be a little hysterical, she suppressed a grunt. "The circle of life is not being broken..." That, she assumed, was certainly not possible. It was ingrained in life.

"Yeah, you and me both." she said softly as she sat down next to Janga. It would be nice to know what was going on. She wrapped her tail around her body and resolutely placed a paw on her own tail tuft. Dayo knew it'd start twitching if this speculation went on for much longer, and she didn't want to seem scared or fidgety.
"A sacrifice, really?" she said in response to the lioness suggestion, "Isn't that a bit barbaric? I mean I've heard that other prides..."
She didn't get to elaborate on what she'd heard about other prides because Kushindwa seemed to be working himself into a panic.
"The what now?" she spluttered. Why would he even say something like that?
Nondo'vuta said it better, and Dayo nodded as the guardian stated the obvious. The circle wasn't broken. It couldn't be, right?

Saniya jumped a little while she heard someone speaking to her, surprised that someone would take the time to see how she was doing. She looked at the lioness, her expression quickly falling back into something more neutral. She was not a cowardly lioness by any means. Just... shy at times, when trying to deal with the members of her new home. She didn't always know how to speak to them. "Ah, I'm alright," she said softly, "it's just a bit surprising that there's so much going on and so many others have had the same kind of dreams... I wonder what it all means, you know? If it really will be alright or not." The words of the cheetah didn't give Orlan much in terms of confidence. It definitely sounded like something dark was on the horizon. Then again, it had already been pretty clear from the way the others were speaking that that was already the case. But if they couldn't get clearer clues, how were they going to know for sure? She sighed and looked at Kimondo. How happy she was to see him! Happy, but so very worried, too. It made it difficult to really appreciate what having him there felt like to her. "I wish someone would have a really clear vision," she said softly, though quickly offered the cheetah an apologetic smile. "Not that your vision wasn't helpful, of course! Thank you for sharing what you saw with it, it looks like it couldn't have been easy for you...." Janga frowned at the thought of a sacrifice. That would be a much more serious matter than he would have liked, especially for Pride Rock! He could see that his brother was getting quite worked up, and there seemed to be plenty reason for it, too. "We should try to approach this logically," he said faintly, "and not jump to any one conclusion. There's a thousand things it could be, but they're not all bad, and there's no reason to panic right now. So far, we only have fleeting glimpses of things. If we remain calm, perhaps we can keep ourselves from creating some of the problems we dreamed of." You often met your destiny on the path you took to avoid it- that was something he was sure of. Getting upset and thinking the worst wouldn't do them any good when they had so little to go on. "I agree that it's frightening, but it may not be the circle of life breaking. Perhaps instead it is warning us that someone else will need our help- that we could be the ones to help, not the ones being hurt. Let's try to keep positive, at least somewhat so." He looked at Dayo, mainly wanting to keep her from feeling upset.

Sauda smiled warmly as she looked back at Taveni. The large male looked decidedly unhappy about being dragged out, but had given in to her badgering eventually. With their three sons safely left with a nanny, the two seers had come to the meeting mostly to listen. Spying his mate’s smirk he frowned at her, giving her a narrow-eye stare that only made her smile wider. How he had ended up with such a lioness was beyond him, he certainly didn’t deserve anyone half as remarkable as the sharp-witted huntress he currently followed.
“Why are we here again?” He grumbled under his breath, barely loud enough for Sauda to hear, yet even so she paused, waiting for him to catch up and bumped her head against his cheek. “Because I want to hear what the others think. I’ve been listening to you for weeks now….” Grinning at his sour grimace, she resumed walking, winding a pathway through the gathered lions to settle down near the front though off to one side. After all, they weren’t likely to speak out unless required. She just wanted to be ale to hear everyone. Settling down beside his mate as Sauda stretched out, his large bulk forming a protective wall at her side, he eyed the other seers gathered round. No one knew he had visions, though being son of a God it was inevitable. He had never spoken of them and only recently had been forced to admit to Sauda that he suffered from them, after waking her up several nights in a row with his barely smothered roars.
Of course she had then blitherly informed him she was an experienced seer and had also been suffering from strange visions of late. Nonpulsed he had finally answered her questions about what he had seen and listened as she compaired them with her own.

"Of course it will be alright." She directed a low rumble towards Saniya, though her mouth was hurting from all the smiling and thus she returned to her natural though rather fierce looking expression. "It is surprising, but life isn't predictable, I suppose." Much of her new position involved socializing, she supposed. It was something that the adolescent was learning more about each day. Her fierce nature meant that she could sometimes come off a little strong and imposing, but she didn't want to be unapproachable.
Nondo'vuta wondered where her mother was at such a time. A pang of guilt hit her as the thought had only just crossed her mind. How awful of her. She was a seer, a confused one at that but a seer nonetheless. Maybe she was confused and didn't know of the gathering... or worse, maybe she had forgotten where she was again. The lioness made a mental note to check in on her once she had finished her business here.

"I guess we'll find out what this is sooner or later anyway," she said and inched a little bit closer to Janga. He seemed intent on keeping calm and trying to see all possible sides of this.
"Are these... is this very different from what you usually get?" she aimed the question at any of the seers close enough to hear it, but she was most interested in what Janga would say. They hadn't really talked about his gift (or was it a curse?) much before this.
