William gave a chuckle, "Yes, I got into the restaurant business years ago, worked hard to make this place popular, and a good portion of my time keeping it there all as a part of a grand scheme." He said, sounding as though he were quite amused at the idea that the boy had no clue about the acolytes, as though Selene would tell them that they were fighting against other people. She likely wanted her soldiers to think that they were only fighting against monsters so that it would be easier for them to deal with it. As the senshi changed to subject, talking about his Sprite, he said, "That was an interesting night, far too many senshi, acolytes, and sprites to deal with. It was a huge fight and everyone was dragged in, your boy wasn't special or sought out by me specifically."
Another laugh escaped from William, "Well, I would hope you weren't a fan of people screaming, that would just point to you as being far from heroic now wouldn't it?" Not that he really felt as though he was one. He could tell that the man wasn't as pure as the senshi were supposed to be, instead he was biased and selfish, the sort that would use anything he could get his hands on when it came to the sprite.
Giving the boy a pat on the head William said, "Thank you, but no. If you are caught fraternizing with the enemy you will likely get disowned by Selene. I doubt you want to become an acolyte quite yet, so best you are careful." He gave a smirk before adding, "Now, eat your dessert, I need to get back to work."
