 Sonata, a shiny eevee, was in Professor Elm's lap. She was curled up asleep as he was working. She never left his side when he was in the lab since she was not very trusting of others. She was friends with the starter pokemon though. She hoped that they would still be friends after their new trainers came to get them. She was sad by them leaving since they were some of her only friends.

 xxxxxxxηｉｎａ ɢｖｅｒｎａxxxxxxx  ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Faded light peered between the curtains of a young girl's window curtains. The light was warm and as time would permit it the light would grow brighter and stronger. Within the room was a girl of twelve birthday years who would soon start her own adventure. At this moment she was dreaming, dreaming of her life as a Pokemon trainer. She considered herself a Dragon tamer within her dream but with her were assortments of various types of Pokemon. She and her new team of friends conquered any trainer they met! She conquered harsh weathers with her friends at her side and even conquered the Elite Four! Her dream was sweet and innocent much like any up and coming trainer would dream. However, in her dream she came across a mysterious Pokemon. It was blurry as it moved quickly around her but she couldn't help feel a connection with that Pokemon. The Pokemon moved at such an incredible pace that she was at a lost. Her Pokemon disappeared from her side and her world grew dark. She grew scared at this new turn of events. It was then that a blast of limelight shone upon her and her world became warm. The mysterious Pokemon paused in front of the limelight and continued to remain in the shadows.
"Who are you?" she said towards the unknown Pokemon. It did not appear to move at all as Nina's vision began to cloud. The last thing she could see were baby blue eye's looking at her questioningly before she awoke.
Nina woke-up with a start from this strange and foreboding dream. She had plenty of dreams where she would go out on adventures with her Pokemon but this was a first she had met this mysterious Pokemon. She didn't even know what kind of Pokemon it was before she awoke. She sighed in disappointment but soon her spirits were lifted again. She looked at her clock and then towards her window. Nina moved from out of her covers and pushed the curtains away to feel the warmth of the sun. Today was the day that she was going to start her adventure. She basked in the sun for a little while before climbing out of her bed and getting into a new change of clothes. These were clothes her parents picked out for her so she would be ready for any weather she and her team would meet. Next she grabbed her bag with various items including a fresh pair of clothes, a survival book, and some new technology her parents gave her to be ready for her journey. All in all, it took her thirty minutes to get ready and it took another five minutes for her to leave so she could stop her heart from pounding from this new journey she was going to face. Before she left she grabbed the Pokeball that her dear Dratini resided in before heading out to Professor Elm's lab. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

 Michael smiled as he arrived at the Pokemon lab. He was the first one there so he looked around a little as he waited for everyone to show up. He then turned back towards the lab and just stood there looking up at it while waiting. He sighed a bit at the thought that he wouldn't be able to join his friends in their journey and by the time he actually could they would probably be too far ahead for him to rival them anymore. He closed his eyes for a moment and wished that someway he would be able to get his own Pokemon and leave with his friends.

xxxxxxxηｉｎａ ɢｖｅｒｎａxxxxxxx ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ The items her parent's gave her were thankfully not all that heavy. She was grateful towards her parents because she really didn't want to carry a heavy bag on her journey. Nina ate a quick, hearty breakfast {her father made in advance} and made sure she had everything she would ever need on her adventure as she didn't want to come back home anytime soon because she forgot to pack something of importance for her journey. Her parents were already waiting downstairs for her and covered her in kisses and hugs before allowing her to become an independent person. Nina knew that, for her parents, this was a tough day for them. It was an emotional day for Nina too because it meant that she couldn't wake-up and have her father's cooking every day. She gave them one last hug, one last farewell, and one last kiss on the cheek before waving goodbye as she walked out the door.
The weather, to say the least, was a perfect day to start an adventure. There were no clouds in the sky and a fresh breeze ran through her hair. Everything about today screamed 'adventure is waiting!' Nina gave the morning a bright smile before running off towards Professor Elm's lab. Perhaps she may not have gotten there as early as everyone else but due to the excessive goodbyes her parent's gave her it was only understandable. From her home to the Professor's lab was a thirty minute walk but she got there fifteen because she couldn't stop running all the way over there. She paused to catch her breath and noticed one of her friends standing outside the lab.
"Good morning Michael, its a beautiful morning today isn't it!" She beamed a smile as she looked at the lab. It only filled her with more excitement as her new Pokemon partner would be inside, waiting for her! ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

 Cardinal Souri Due to his uncle, Cardinal was nearly late to the whole jamboree of getting his new pokemon. He gave panicked cries, throwing on his ready-to-go clothes that his Ralts had pulled over to him and quickly doing up his braid. He looked around, and huffed gentle, taking in his uncle's room. Might as well call it his room now, his parents wanted him to live with his uncle so he could meet other children. Yes, he did, he had four friends, but that didn't stop him from being horribly shy.
Throwing on his bag, that contained a couple pokeballs, some pokecubes, and a couple other items needed to start an adventure. "Ready to go, Ralts?" He asked as he gave a smile. This was the day, that he would leave with his friends to go on an adventure. He doubted himself, heck, he would be just fine doing contests with Ralts, or even just running a day care. Day cares are nice. Cardinal shook his head and returned his pokemon, "Alright...here we go.." He said gently.
The silver-haired boy slowly walked out of his house and walked down the the lab. He bit his lip and waved a bit to the two. "Hi.." He said softly, shifting his gaze from Micheal to Nina. He offered a faint smile to the two before he looked around. "Ah...I'm not last...Uncle didn't wake me.."

xxxxxxxηｉｎａ ɢｖｅｒｎａxxxxxxx ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Nina awaited Michael but perhaps she had been panting too loudly because of her long run here she might have missed it. She rested her palms on her knees to catch her breath before she breathed out a huff of air. She regained her composure before looking at the next one to join the group. It was Cardinal Souri the richest kid among her friends. Although Nina was a shy person when it came to first greetings she was the type to warm up to people quickly. It was odd for her to stay shy for an extended period of time. The only time she would stay shy for so long is if she hadn't stayed in touch with such said person. On the other hand, Cardinal was much more shyer than she because even though they have been friends for quite some time now he still hadn't come out of his shy nature. It didn't bother Nina because she could understand what it was like to be shy in the first place. She never pushed him to communicate more especially if it made him uncomfortable.
"Good Morning Cardinal!" She waved towards her hand with great enthusiasm as he grew closer towards the two.
"Why would he need to wake you up? Weren't you excited for the journey we are going on today?!" She squealed in excitement as she looked forward towards her new partner. She wasn't sure which of the three Pokemon it was going to be and she wasn't going to be picky. Whichever Pokemon gave her that special connection she and her Dratini shared that was the Pokemon Nina would accept as her new friend. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

{o.o.c: First off all aplogies for not quoting this time not on phone so kinda hard to post and second no pic :/ } Alan Alan rushed out his home pulling on his loose hooded jacket as he ran towards the lap at full tilt hoping he wasn't too late as he slid upto the door and opened it after knocking politely and looked arounf to see everyone already there "Hey guys sorry i'm late had to help Ma do a few jobs before I left y'know?" he said after catching his breath and grinning at them all happy this day had finally come where he'd get his first pokemon and be off on his adventure

SOnata hearing voices outside the lab, woke up, went over to the window and looked outside seeing some kids outside. She looked sad because her friends were leaving and she didn't want to say goodbye. She then put her ears down as she went over to the stand where her friends pokeballs were and looked up at them sadly wishing for a way to go with them. But because she had trouble trusting others right away, she couldn't. She whimpered before going over to a couch in the lobby and went under a pillow and started crying silently.

Michael sighed a bit at his thoughts before noticing a silver tail move away from the lab window. "What was that?" He asked himself curiously before realizing that everyone had finally arrived. He turned to look at everyone and "Oh hey you slowpokes finally made it" He joked with a laugh. "We better get you guys in there" He said as he turned around and went to open the door. He stood aside as he held the door open for his friends.

Her excitement showed no bounds as she led her friends within the confines of the lab. She practically pushed them inside because she really wanted to see her to be new friend. As some were not willing to be pushed she made herself into the confines of the lab. The lab was spacious and had all sorts of technology scattered everywhere. Everywhere Nina looked was a lab assistant performing various tasks she knew would further people's knowledge about Pokemon. Yet their advancement on the knowledge of Pokemon would also help humans utilize a Pokemon's ability to better the interaction of human and Pokemon. What the scientists were doing right now was history in the making. She knew that each of these scientists would, one way or another, learn or create something that would benefit humanity. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Michael smiled as he walked in behind all his friends. He looked around the lab as they made their way to back where Professor Elm was waiting for them all to arrive. Elm smiled at the group when he saw them coming. "Ah hello everyone. I suppose you're here to get your pokemon" He said then looked at Michael and frowned a bit. "I heard that you were the one that was decided not to take one this time Michael, I'm sorry. But as for the rest of you: The pokeballs on the table over there contain the three starter Pokemon: Cyndaquil, Totodile, & Chikorita. I hope you have all agreed on who you're choosing" He said with a slight smile as he turned back towards the others and pointed at a nearby table which had the three Pokeballs on it, each with an emblem showing what Pokemon was inside.

xxxxxxxηｉｎａ ɢｖｅｒｎａxxxxxxx ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ Nina didn't even notice professor Elm until he had spoken. She was reminded, again, that Michael would be unable to join them in their adventure. They had all played a fair game to determine which of them would move on and which one wouldn't. It was up to fate and as she recalled her paren't s words they said that fate was cruel. It probably would have been best if everyone stayed behind with their Pokemon till the next batch of starter Pokemon were delivered. However, that was not to be the case. Most likely, it would have been torment for Michael and a friend couldn't do that to a friend. She and the rest of her friends have been through thick and thin since they were young, practically nothing could separate their friendship and that, according to Nina, what was important.
Nina walked over to the Pokeballs and decided that the best course of action was to meet the Pokemon themselves. She took each of the Pokeballs and threw them into the air. They hung in the air for a second before the balls released the Pokemon inside. Three forms of light appeared before all of them until they formed into three distinct Pokemon. Nina made sure to place the pokeballs back into their proper place before going out to meet them herself. She looked at each one, staring them right in the eye. Cyndaquil couldn't even open its eyes and she thought that was rude. Only Totodile and Chikorita remained the only two qualifiers.
She peered into the Totodile's eyes, looking deep into them before she noticed a little twinkle. Nina didn't feel much with this Pokemon and felt that it might cause her some problems in the future. Then she moved on to the Chikorita. It was calm as it looked right back at her. Its eyes held no twinkle in its eye which was a good think for Nina. She started feeling a connection between she and the Chikorita. It was then that the grass Pokemon lifted up one of its legs to shake with 'hands' with Nina. Her eye's grew big as her hands took the little one's hand before giving it a small shake.
"Chika!" The grass Pokemon said as Nina had loosened her grip on the Pokemon. A minute had passed before she picked up the Chikorita by the waist and held it up high for everyone to see.
"I choose you Chikorita! I just know me and you will have a great adventure when were together." Chikorita squealed in excitement as Nina tucked the grass Pokemon in her chest and took its Pokeball from the table.
"Thank you very much Professor Elm! Thank you!" It was difficult for her to contain her enthusiasm as she now possessed her first starter Pokemon. She would always have Dratini in her heart and this new Pokemon would never take its place as long as she and Dratini remained friends. ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄

Sonata was watching from under the pillow on the couch. She went over to Professor Elm and said "Eevee?" (Uppy?) wanting to be comforted and held. You could tell she'd been crying since her fur was wet around her eyes. She looked at Chikorita and put her ears back. Sonata was young and hated saying goodbye. She looked up at Professor Elm hoping he'd give them some other Pokemon.
