User Name: JetAlmeara Name: Mellori Temper: Ambitious Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No and No Are you an active RPer?: Yes. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Definitely ---------------- Personality:
Mellori's one goal in life seems to be pursuing the power and achievement that she believes being a member of the Conspiracy class will grant her. Although she sees her mothers mercenary job and the majority of her brethren's Dedicated class status as respectable and intriguing, Mellori wants … something else. Mellori wants to lead and there isn't much that anyone can say or do to dissuade her from this path in life.
A confident creature, Mellori's worldview is generally optimistic - in the sense that she sees little that will be stop her from achieving her dreams, her confidence is perhaps somewhat of a flaw as it can lead her to underestimating the abilities of her enemies. When it comes to following her goals Mellori is industrious and meticulous - perhaps sometimes she is a bit dishonest with herself and her abilities, but her inner confidence blinds her to these shortcomings as a youth and being truthful about herself is a lesson that will be hard won as she grows. Despite her sometimes over confident nature Mellori is gifted with a cunning and controlled mind, she never makes a move until she has thoroughly thought is through, it means that she sometimes takes a bit more time to act…but this penchant for over planning will save her buns on more then one occasion when her over confidence makes her bite off more then she could normally chew.
Will her all encompassing passion towards her dream Mellori's personal relations tend to suffer a little bit , like anyone who puts their job ahead of their personal lives Mellori can often times come across as a bit cool and aloof, seemingly (and truthfully) preoccupied with something else. Its not that she doesn't care, although she's not prone to warm fuzzy feelings towards strangers she's not a monster either and she does care quite deeply about those she thinks are worth caring about… she's just unlikely to show it on a whim or likely as often as those others would like.
Prompt Number: 3 - Choose your own Adventure. RP Prompt:
The day was quickly fading, the sun drifting ever lower on the horizon and still Mellori was no closer to a decision. She had been standing here for what felt like forever now, brows furrowed and eyes narrowed as she mentally worked though all the options that lay before her. Like game trails through the woodlands the paths laid out before her branched in all directions, the potential for many different lives all precariously balanced in this one single decision.
It was almost impossible to fathom, that ones life could be so drastically shaped by a single moment and yet Mellori was sure that it was so. It was true that she could change her mind later, switch goals and branch off from the path she choose…but that life journey wouldn't be planned, wouldn't be thought out in the way that it should be, it would be chaotic and likely far more difficult, whose to say that she would even succeed in such a spontaneous journey ? In Mellori's eyes the lack of planning would do nothing but lessen her chance of success and that was a concept that Mellori would not consider.
No.
As hard as it was going to be, she would make this decision, she would choose her path and she would follow it to it's conclusion no matter the obstacles that might stand in her way. This foresight and planning would give her the best chance of reaching her dream - whatever dream it turned out to be. Shaking her head slightly Mellori blew out a breath of frustration breaking the silence that had fallen across the meadow as the light faded and the shadows took over. She had spent an entire day attempting to make this choice and all she had to show for it was a growing conviction that the choice must indeed be made. It wasn't much…but Mellori soothed herself with the knowledge that anything that was worth doing wouldn't be simple, wouldn't come without some work invested. Perhaps she was going about this all wrong, perhaps she needed more information in order to make the proper choice. Yes… that must be it, she simply needed to gain more knowledge, her mother would be the obvious choice for such knowledge. In any case it did not seem that she was destined to be hit with some sort of 'sign' or epiphany about the path she was supposed to take and spending the night standing out here fretting about wasn't going to help. Shaking her head Mellori turned tail on the sliver of sunlight still remaining and made her way back towards her family, tonight, if there was a chance she would speak with her mother. The choice must be made…but it would not be made in haste.
Plot Ideas:
Although I generally like for plots to evolve somewhat organically through RP, Mellori's personality kind of already shapes the direction she might head and while small details might change there are the vague ideas stirring around in my mind at the moment. Due to her penchant for planning I'm going to lay them out in a 'step' process, some steps might be completed in a single RP but many will take several in order to reach the end goal. Note - These are pretty much adult stage idea, I use foal RP time as sort of a 'get to know you' phase where I can really pin down personality traits and get into a characters head.
Step 1 :
The End Goal
Mellori has never been one to run here and there with no real plan in mind, why should she approach her life any differently? No, Mellori plans to make a 'life plan'… and then follow it come hell or high water! Never mind that she is young and relatively inexperienced in life she is confident enough in herself to think she knows what she wants and that’s all that matters to her at the moment.
Step 2 :
The perfect Companion
Even as a foal Mellori knows the importance of choosing her bond. It will be a raven - obviously, but which raven? That is the true question. Already she knows the direction she wants to take her life and to get there she will need the perfect bondmate. Mellori plans to be very selective when it comes to the bonding. (Will probably accept the offered raven companion, others will just be NPC birds she comes across, as long as one of the offered ones suits her of course =-) )
Step 3 :
I Must Find a way….
Earning a mask might not be the epitome of her life plan but she sees it as a necessary step along the way. How can she be a respected Raven Lord without one? The question of course is how to go about doing it. This might be harder for Mellori then she realizes as the mask must be granted by someone close to her and in her driven pursuit of her perfect companion Mellori has somewhat neglected those around her. Of course the mask isn't given out for one simple deed, a fact that young Mellori will have to learn through trial and error, in the end she figures out that the best way to earn her mask is not to hyper focus on doing so but simply to try and live up to the ideals of the Raven Lords and let it come in its own time. (lawl she's a Raven Mask crusader… okay end of lame MLP joke) Note - If/how & When she actually earns her mask I would have to plot out with you I imagine. (and then if her adult form doesn't have a mask get her a custom item slot.)
Step 4
Training
Having come to terms with the fact that her mask will have to be earned and not just 'bought' with a couple deeds Mellori turns her attention towards other aspects of her life plan. To her way of thinking there is no way she can become the leader she wants to become without training in various disciplines. She needs to learn tactics, leadership, fighting…maybe even some diplomacy. She will need to seek out mentors of these various disciplines and train with them, learn from them - she is aware that it will take a good bit of time but it will be worth it in the end.
Step 5
The Gathering
It is time, although Mellori plans to continue training as needed she feels she is ready to start helping her raven companion gather his/her flock. It will be a journey with its ups and downs and it is likely that Mellori will face both victories and defeats in this endeavor...but she's a persistent mare and rarely lets the failures keep her down for long. Will she make it in the end and reach her ultimate goal? Will this journey towards one ultimate dream instead grant her the close bond of her rejected path? Really only the RP will tell and shape the result.

User Name: Amirynth Name: Lithic Temper: Secretive Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: Nope on both counts Are you an active RPer?: Not as much anymore but I -love- to plot. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Definitely! Lithic is the daughter of Talon King, Terrok, champion of the Arrakoa Outcasts. Raven: Rukhmar ---------------- Personality: A little on the sarcastic and blunt side. Lithic speaks her mind, as long as it doesn't concern her own feelings. Her sharp eyes can see other people's faults and issues and will not hesitate to point them out in hopes to help them and steer them onto a better path. Slightly abrasive and preferring the observe the world around her, Lithic will hold her tongue to a point. She means well but will usually get on people's bad side which is something she will need to work on. As she gets older she will learn better ways to talk to people. I think it would be interesting if she tried to lead at some point and it ends up dissolving because of her bluntness. She will learn from this and grow, tempering her tongue and softening the blow of her words. I want Lithic to amass a flock to travel with and potentially lead her own small band when she is much older.
Prompt Number: 2 - Your raven has injured it's wing and can't fly. What happens next? RP Prompt: It wasn't her fault! How was she to know the kalona would go after her companion and not herself?! Lithic glanced down at the wounded raven, his wing bent unnaturally under him. The kalona had the nerve to encroach on their family area and it had been up to her to drive him off. Young and impetuous, Lithic had been confident that she would be able to push this big oaf out of the clearing where the brook was easiest to get to but she had pushed a little too hard and caused the bad-tempered stallion to fall upon her and Rukhmar. It had been going well until she pointed out his tattered wings and unkempt appearance proved that he was weak and unfit to walk among the rest of the herd. Little did she know he had business with the Khaleesi. The filly snorted and glanced down at her raven with a frown. The kalona had stormed off but she couldn't go back to the herd right now. If they heard about her outburst she'd be in trouble again. She needed to find a healer. Lithic remembered seeing a smaller herd that was grazing close by when she decided to watch the sun rise. She recalled the moment and nodded to herself. If she remembered rightly there was a horned one within the group. Someone who would be sure to help her companion. With a little difficulty she carefully placed the raven on her back, trying to support his wing with her own. If they were still there, the group should be just past this rise... She was in luck! the mare was relieved and let out the breath she didn't realize she was holding. And, better luck, there was a unicorn in their midst! Trolling closer she folded back her wings so that it was hard to tell how many she had. The kalona had made comment about them being abnormal she the last thing she wanted was to scare the herd away. Calling out she attracted the attention of the one who seemed like they were the leader. "Hey! I'm in need of help, my companion... hurt his wing." Lithic thought it best to not inform the of the cause of the injury. "Do you have a healer?" "I can be of assistance." The horned mare came closer though with a hesitant air. "What ails you?" The leader strode forward and stood between Lithic and the healer. "Begone, I will have no walkers here. This is your only warning." He stood taller than her by half, the younger filly still had not experienced her last growth spurt. "Not a 'walker." Lithic spat to the side, her nose scrunched up in distaste. This was one of the most common reactions she got when traveling outside of the Khaleesi's herd and this was not the time nor the place. She bristled, "I have no business with you, just with her." she nodded towards the healer. "My companion is hurt and is in need of healing." She spread one of her wings, just enough so they could see the raven upon her back, the wing bend abnormally at his side. "Unless you are hiding a horn upon your head, and have control of the healing magics, then I'm only interested in talking with her." The stallion snorted, "An attitude like that will get you no-where, Walker or not." He turned and faced the mare who looked a little concerned. "Come on, we have other places to be, it is about time we moved on." The rest of the herd who had been listening in; observing intently from the corner of their eyes, turned their backs to Lithic and started walking away, following their leader. With a small shake of her head, the healer paused for a long moment before turning and following also. This made Lithic grasp at straws as she watched the only option she knew slip through her hooves. "Please?" She whispered under her breath, regretting her first outburst even more. With a stronger voice she added to the disappearing herd, "Please can you help? I don't have anywhere else to go." She dug her hoof into the ground, a wing twitching in worry. The stallion seemed not to notice but twitched his tail. Turning back towards the young mare, the healer closed in once more and eyed the raven. "He needs to be set down." She helped Lithic lay him on the soft grasses before touching her horn to the raven's wing. "This wont fully heal at once, but will at least help him heal faster with no lasting damage." He soft voice allayed Lithic's worry, the raven's wing fitting neatly back along his side also helped. "Thank you..." Lithic clipped her wings to the side after the healer had placed her companion carefully back onto her back. "Your help is very appreciated." She gave a small bow before looking up at the older mare. "If you are ever..." She wasn't quite sure what else to say. "It will be up to him," The healer nodded towards her herd where the stallion was waiting for her to rejoin the ranks. "But you are very welcome." Turning towards her herd, the mare left, "Take care." Lithic nodded, "I will..." If ever there was a lesson here, she hoped se could keep it to heart.
Plot Ideas: * I need plenty of plots where her sharp tongue gets her into trouble. Lithic will have a moment, much like the one above, where her blunt observations get someone who is dear to her into grave trouble. These incidents will teach her that sometimes it is better to keep quiet than speak your mind. * Many times she has been mistaken for a Skinwalker. When she is older, I'd love her to actually meet one and find out why they are so feared. She might get into battle with them and barely escape. It might be cool if she ended up rescuing the walker's next meal in the process and then, later on, becoming friends with them * I don't really have a romance plot for her, Lithic is going to be more interested in gathering ravens and proving herself to be a competent leader. It would be interested if someone set her up on a 'blind date' without her realizing and them totally getting off on the wrong foot. It would be even more interesting if she ends up becoming best friends with her date. * When she grows up fully, at some point I want her to start out on her own and explore a bit in hopes to earn her mask. She may come back to the herd but I want a period of time when she attempts to lead her own herd, This may work, or not, at the present time it is undecided.
User Name: -_Wish of Tevarae_- Name: Ausra Temper: Distant Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No and No Are you an active RPer?: Yes~! Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Gods yes. It's absolutely fascinating. ---------------- Personality: While Ausra is a quiet sort, never much to speak aside from perhaps to her family members, this filly seems to have an idea of what she wants, and how she wants to go about it. Most of the time, she and her bonded Raven can be seen close together, she whispering something or another about the goings on around her. Her thoughts seem to often whisk her away, though she's capable of being a little tow-headed when it comes to pulling herself from that world she's created.
Despite this, Ausra seems to have the intent to follow in her mother's footsteps, her attention often on the elder with a quick glance at the actions that occur. Her attention to detail is part of one of the things that makes Ausra herself, as she's capable of taking everything in at enormous speeds, despite any distractions that might come her way. She will use her Raven to assist her in these matters as well, the bird taking in anything that she might miss to create a full picture...If nothing else? She does not like NOT knowing things. The lack of knowledge is something that near-kills her, and she can often be obsessive until she finds it out.
She is not often interested in other Soquili, unless they have something to offer her, choosing instead to doggedly follow the things that she's been taught, and the things that she, herself believes to be true. Prompt Number: 2 RP Prompt: The last thing that she would have ever expected to happen was his hurt wing. The sound of his cry when he ran it into a tree had snapped her head up from its current place grazing, shooting a thrill of white hot panic to race her heart in her breast. She could not allow him to be hurt. That was one of the first thoughts in Ausra's head....That Nephoros could not be injured. Her legs carried her swiftly, wings flapping madly in an attempt to draw her quicker, closer, to the creature that so held her soul in thrall. He was her raven...without him, she would be....She would be useless. At least in her mind. A madness overtook her as she reached the general area in which she'd heard the sound, eyes casting about madly, back and forth.
How could she breathe, when Nephoros was not in her sight after that cry. Shooting glances quickly, it took her all of two minutes to locate her precious partner, carrying herself over as if on the wings of the North Wind. As soon as she was above him, her nose moved down, pressing to his breast, gently nuzzling him, "There....Come Nephoros....You are fine..." It was quiet reassurance, both for herself, and for the irritable creature that currently rested between her forelegs, fluffing himself up as though indignant, "That tree came out of nowhere, Ausra." At his quip, she found herself able to breathe, to relax and laugh.
It was but a quiet nicker, a soft ghosting of the sound past her lips, nose blowing a gentle tuft of air into his feathers, "Trees do not come from nowhere, Nephoros. They must have grown over long periods of time, and you must have been the one to miss it. I doubt it could have missed you." It was teasing, as she meticulously checked his wing. Likely, it was nothing but a deep bruise, as there seemed to be nothing out of place, and he was still moving it. Assisting him up onto the joint between one of her wings and shoulders, the female took a deep sigh.
He was fine...Her partner was fine...What would she have done if- "Don't even let your mind go there, Ausra. I'm alright. Now take me home, and let me bathe. I have dust all in my feathers. Another soft laugh from the female, and she turned for home, content for the moment that her Raven was yet at her side. Not being able to fly for him....well, she could use him as ground surveillance for a time, couldn't she?
As they arrived home, she delicately lowered him into a puddle, watching him clean himself, then helped him up into a tree, watching as his talons clung into the branch, "It's alright, Nephoros...Until your wing heals...I can be your wings."
Plot Ideas: Separation Anxiety: Being seperated from her Raven for long periods of time might cause Ausra severe discomfort, nearing fits. Having him go off and not come back for a while would be near destructive. It might be interesting to see her learn how to cope. Family Matters: While Ausra doesn't like most Soquili, finding them a little too...much for her, she will be very close to her mother and siblings, though speech will not come easily. It's unlikely she'll really want to leave them, though she'll have to at one point. Matters of the Heart: For a Soquili so intent on the external, and not so in tune with the internal, her finding someone her heart goes to could be interesting. After all, she wouldn't understand what it was, and would near-obsessively seek answers to why she was feeling something so strange at all.

User Name: Belloblossom Name: Fiachna (Irish for "raven"; nickname: Fia.) Temper: Adventurous Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No, and no. Are you an active RPer?: I certainly try to be, but school has a way of pulling me away from the computer. Still, I log onto Gaia daily, and try to get in replies when I can. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Yes ---------------- Personality: Fia loves to go to new places, see new things, meet new Soquili. She wants to experience everything the world has to offer her, learn everything she can from new people, and let her wings carry her all over the world. She is very adventurous, but not to the point where she won't remember to exercise caution in the face of something new. She is takes delight in seeing other Soquili happy and will go out of her way to please others in the little ways that she can.
She gives 120% in everything that she does and some of her favorite pass-times include flying with her raven familiar, listening to adventure stories that other Soquili have been on, and traveling with other Soquili to share in their travels. Prompt Number: 1 RP Prompt: It was always enjoyable traveling with her mother and siblings, not to mention the herd belonging to the great Daenerys Targaryen. Their group was a large one, but Allide tended to stay away from most of the action in the herd, unless she was called upon, and for the most part, Fia had chosen to stay close by her mother through most of their travels. She would occasionally interact with the other herd members, but many were too busy to play as she wanted to, so she played with her older siblings. For the most part of their journey, everything was peaceful and the few skirmishes that they encountered were quickly dealt with by the older Soquili of the group, her mother included.
Fia never imagined that there could be so many diverse environments within a single world and every time they traveled some place new it would bring new adventures and new encounters with other Soquili of all shapes and sizes--some even had tails that resembled fish!
Fia had been travelling with her mother for so long that the filly was beginning to suspect that one day they would simply reach the end of the world with all of their walking and that there would be nothing left to see. It was such a constant thought in her mind, that she started to believe herself. She had seen both Eastern and Western Forests and the swamps in each areas too; she had seen the Eastern Plains and the Western Grasslands; most fun of all was when she traveled up the Western Mountains to the Hot Springs that resided within them. Surely, as she had seen so many wonderful places, there was nothing left worth seeing!
You can imagine how surprised and delighted she was to be proved wrong.
Despite having crossed through the Central lands on their way to the Eastern or Western areas, the herd never seemed to stop there very often. When Fia would ask her mother about why this was, Allide would give a vague answer (as she often did) of, "We are not needed in those lands just yet." and nothing more. Fia was unable to ask anything more after her mother gave one of these answers, which would result in her pestering one of her elder siblings about it instead.
In this circumstance, when she found out that the herd would be traveling into the Central lands by her brother, she was surprised and confused. Would they be going through the Central lands towards the East again? Or would they finally be staying there a while? Her brother claimed to have no answers to her questions, so she had quite a lot to think about during their journey.
As their travel progressed, it became clear that they were once again traveling through the Central Forests, but this time, they weren't headed East. The paths they took were becoming increasingly less familiar and Fia spent more time glued to her mother's side, as opposed to off playing with her siblings like she normally would be. She was excited to be exploring someplace new, but she was frightened too. It had been a long time since she'd been in a new area, and she didn't know what to expect.
Whatever she had been thinking of, it certainly wasn't what she found.
She had heard stories of the sea before, from the members Daenerys' herd, but she never thought ever, ever ever that she would get to see it herself. It felt like a dream when she first saw it, as her mother led her outside of the trees that bordered the sandy shore.
Fia stepped out onto the sand, letting out a delighted gasp as her hoof sunk into the terrain. Spotting her siblings running ahead, she spared her mother only the briefest of glances before grinning wildly and springing forward, letting her wings carry her between leaps. It was difficult to jump in the sand, as her hooves tended to sink deeper into the sand every time she tried to jump out of it. By her fifth jump, she had fallen into a sinkhole that covered her legs and stomach with sand. She liked sand under her hooves, but on her coat? It was pretty itchy! She tried to shake it off, but it seemed to settle in her hair all the more, which irritated her to no end.
So, she tried to think of the reasonable thing to do: Wash it off with water. She trotted over to where the waves were just rolling against the shore, and she knelt awkwardly in the damp sand for the water to lap up against her body. When this didn't work, she was going to venture in deeper, when her mother called her away, warning her not to get too deep into the ocean. Fia listened to her mother, trotting back to where the white mare stood, her other two siblings at her side. When the family was together, they set off again, following behind the herd they accompanied.
Fia overheard her siblings talking to one another about what they were doing here. Apparently there were Mer Soquili here that the herd were traveling to see, to propose business or trade with. When they questioned Allide about what a Mer was exactly, she explained that the top half of a Mer was like any other Soquili, but their lower halves were that of a fish! Imagine that! Fia had seen four-legged Soquili with fish tails, but the entire bottom half of a Soquili as a fish? It was a little sounded silly, but exciting too!
Because they had been traveling to reach the shore all day and dusk was falling over them, the herd decided to stop and rest along the border of the shores, where the trees provided more cover. Allide showed Fia and her siblings a place the three could rest, and after she had talked to the other herd members, their mother joined them too. What an adventure it had been, traveling all this way to find the ocean, Fia thought as she pressed her partially sandy body against her mother's flank and feathers, and what a marvelous adventure they were sure to have tomorrow. Plot Ideas: A Treasure Map! - Perhaps she heard a rumor of buried treasure, or stumbled upon a map floating in a bottle at sea, but either way, Fia knows there's treasure out there, and she's determined to find it! With her adventurous nature and her raven's keen eyes, they're certain to succeed! (Foal or Adult RP; can include family members, and new acquaintances on this adventure of hers.)
Family Before Fun - Despite her adventurous nature and her longing to travel to see even newer places that she may not know about, family will always come first. This could be a lesson she learns as a foal, after goofing off so much that she doesn't notice a sibling in trouble, and she gets quite distressed when she sees the consequences of having a good time, or it could be when she's already learned this lesson, and leaves a personal adventure to travel back to her family if they ever ask for her.
Those of a Feather - To her knowledge, there aren't very many tri-winged Soquili. This makes Fia feel special and important, but she would also love to meet others with this noticeable trait. Maybe they could exchange flight tips.
Finding my Father - What better an adventure to have than to go seek out her own father? Having never met him before and only receiving very brief comments about him after days of pestering her mother, she is very curious about him. Whether she manages to find her father or not is an entirely different adventure is it's own!
Raven Lords - Fia always has had a desire to travel, to explore, and to experience new things, she's not sure how she'd actually manage to wear the mask of her mother and carry on the Raven Lord tradition. While she's almost certain that one of her older siblings will get to carry on the tradition, she can't help secretly wishing such a honor would be granted to her, too.
User Name: LunaRei_SilverBlood Name: Fiarce Temper: Superior Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: Nope for both Are you an active RPer?: Semi. I do my best to post once a month in the least, but I am around daily for plotting. Forum rps just tend to run slower for me, versus IM rp. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Of course ---------------- Personality: Fiarce is intuitive; she wants to learn all she can and uses what she learns to her advantage. She feels strongly for her survival and takes after her mother in doing what needs to be done in that respect. Fiarce is able to read between the lines and is looking for something of her own to use everything she’s learned. The mare is also very aware of things happening around her. There are no secrets and if there’s something going on that she doesn’t know about; she will find out. Her observational skills go hand in hand with her intuitiveness. She can pick up on things like the smell of sweat or the way a horses might tense. These allow her to be more political than most. She can slide in behind the scenes and take care of matters. She likes the idea of having everyone’s secrets.
She has a superior attitude about her. She is a Raven Lord after all. Others would look at her like she was a spoiled brat, she’s not spoiled but feels that they are all beneath her. She will be kind to them to get what she needs and then just walk away. She’s not afraid to get her hooves dirty if need be, but it’s not really her style. She’s more of a social elitist that makes it a goal to manipulate those around her to achieve her goals.
Prompt Number: Prompt 1 Your travels with your mother have led you to a strange new land. What is it like? What do you do while you're there?
RP Prompt: Another new land… Another opportunity for her mother to show her usefulness. Another chance for Fiarce to learn by doing… Sure, sometimes it was tiring move from place to place, especially after all that work she had recently put in at that other empire. She had some of those lords and ladies eating out of her hooves. They were shaking in their skin to make sure that her demands were met. She had an integral network set up, she knew who was sleeping with who and where they were at that exact time or what someone was planning. It was almost perfect! But at the same time it was almost too easy. These places were always teeming with secrets and problems.
Daenerys was an interesting horse indeed. It was kind of hard to work around her doing so much ‘good’. Fiarce had respect for her, the mare got her stuff done no matter what. But there was just something there that Fiarce wasn’t into. But this new land would offer new challenges hopefully. This was something Daenerys offered and made easy for Fiarce. The endless supply of new lands.
Now it was time for her to hone her system. When they arrived Fiarce slipped out and started her work. She met with a couple contacts she had made before coming and got the scoop on the area. It seemed that some of the more powerful horses weren’t impressed with the group coming through. This was understandable. It was like that in most places and it was time to learn their secrets and make herself known.
Plot Ideas: Time to go – After traveling with her mother and Daenerys, Fiarce will decide to stay behind in one of the locations and start her own life. She continues to work with her network and learns about another local Raven Lord.
Territory – Feeling that this other Lord could be a threat she uses her network to learn more about him and will confront him or rather, try too.
Vrana– Before she is able to confront Anzu she’ll be approached by Vrana. Who knows everything about Fiarce and proves to be a formidable and deadly rival.
I jump if you jump, Jack – Fiarce finds that she enjoys her meetings with Vrana, possibly too much. She starts to get careless in trying to draw out the other mare and finds herself at the end of someone else’s plot and being saved by her rival…
This is the start of something new - Conspiracy is in the air and Fiarce is ready to start her herd with her lovemate.
Possible Surrogacy plot - Should things go as planned for Fiarce and if Aria were interested in it, I'd want to chat about Fiarce's lovemate breeding with Fiarce brother for some 'bloodline' rather then just mock/wishing star kids.
Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?:
Nope and Nope
Are you an active RPer?:
I RP, but not too often. It is easier for me to start/finish a RP in a day or two, mostly because I either forget about it or the character kinda turns 'off' in my brain (happens a lot during weekdays, mostly because I focus on RL more than anything...) Though I do love plots ouo!
Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?:
Of course 8D!

When Loquitier first came out of her basket, she spoke very little. Most of the time, she would listen, only speaking if she was spoken to or she had a question to ask. It wasn't because of a lack of interest -- Loqui felt like she learned more when she just listened. Some thought that she lacked a resolve of her own, but that wasn't true. As others spoke and others questioned, she learned both about what the lesson was as well as the mentality of those that asked the question. Basically, depending on what the question was and how the question was asked helped her determine the personality of someone before speaking to them personally. As an adult, Loquitier is not much of a fighter. She definitely can fight and fight well when needed, but she prefers talking her way out of situations more than using brute force. Loqui uses her ability to read people (that she picked up when she was younger) to learn how to speak to someone. With that, she's able to change the way she acts and talks to others to get what she wants out of them. Loqui meets all sorts of Soquili on her travels and her goal is to get close to them to gather information. It can get difficult for her because she doesn't really like building a bond, mostly fear that someone or something might get too close. She only gives her heart fully to her raven and sometimes her mother and siblings. Her attachment to her family is more out of loyalty than love -- the only thing she truly love is her raven. Loqui's heart is soft -- if she ever lets anyone in. Alongside her abilities and determination for more information, Loqui is quite stubborn. She has full faith in her abilities and knowledge and doesn't believe she can fail. If she does make a mistake, it wasn't her fault but someone else's. Loqui never thinks anything information she gathers as 'wrong' but possibility of being 'misunderstood' or 'intercommunicated'.
Prompt Number:
Quote:
2 - Your raven has injured it's wing and can't fly. What happens next?
RP Prompt:
Loqui had been watching her mother communicate with the group she was working with. It fascinated her how different Soquili spoke to different people. The same one could be smiling and nice to one Soquili, and then while they spoke to another, harsh and commanding. She smiled to herself. "I will be able to do that someday!"
That was when she heard her raven cry out. The raven was still small and a larger eagle was attacking it which boiled Loqui's blood. Although she had not flown much, she dashed off and landed quickly besides her friend. Loqui brushed the large eagle aside with one of her wings, held down the eagle with one of her front paws and snarled.
It scared the eagle enough and it quickly left, not looking back, but Loqui had another problem. The eagle managed to attack the raven a few spots around his wings and there was blood.
"Of all the things I pay attention to!" Loquitier was mad at herself as her raven rested on her back. Her mother had presented her and her siblings with a raven to call her own right when she was out of her basket. The raven spoke to her the most and they had slowly been growing together, the raven only a little bit older than herself. She cared for her mother and siblings a lot... but with the raven... The feeling was just different.
She quickly made her way to the healing grove where she knew there was an old unicorn that was helping aid the wounded. When she got there, Loqui noticed that there was quite a lot of Soquili that were hurt and definitely not enough help. It didn't matter to her though -- her friend was hurt and needed help! Loqui approached the old unicorn. "Please, Sir! Please help my friend!"
The unicorn didn't even look over at Loqui and the raven that was bleeding on her back. He let out a sigh and responded while tending another. "Look around you, Little Miss." He used his horn to motion to those that were around him. "There's a lot of Soquili that need help, but we do not have enough help."
Loqui had to admit to herself that she didn't really are about the others in the area that were hurt. They didn't really mean anything to her -- her raven did. She did know that she had to play it smart though. "Like that one Soquili who was nice to another and tough with another..."
She looked around the area and walked to a patch that was filled with healing herbs that she had learned from the Soquili of the group. Loqui picked up a mouthful and walked back to the unicorn, putting them gently in front of his hooves. Looking up at the unicorn, she apologized. "I'm sorry, Sir... I should have been more considerate... But my friend..."
The face she made looked like she was about to cry -- Loqui knew that. She was worried, but not that worried. The old unicorn looked at her and let out a sigh and a smile. He said nothing but looked over at the raven and used his horn to heal the wounds that it did have. Once done, he spoke. "Don't worry. He'll be fine and will just need a bit of rest. Try to be more careful next time."
Loqui let a single tear run down her cheek and started to smile. "Thank you... Thank you so much!" She kept repeating herself as she backed out of the grove while bowing her head in gratitude.
When she knew the unicorn was no longer looking at her, she turned around and grinned. Loqui had the ability she had admired and seemed to be able to use it decently well. "I wonder what else I could do..."
Plot Ideas:
Accidental Friend - Loqui ends up trying to gather information from someone and that someone gets the wrong idea. They bother her and keeps calling her 'friend' until she can't get rid of them and has to accept it. Although she doesn't admit it, the 'friend' gets into trouble and she ends up protecting them. Why bother me? - More and more try to 'befriend' her. Loqui gets irritated to the point she either injures or almost injures an 'innocent' and she feels horrible. Unsure of what to do, she would try to find some answers with her mother/siblings. Without definite answers, she ends up apologizing to said friend and learning more about friendship beyond gathering information. False Mask - Rumors were spreading that an artisan was creating false masks. It causes Loqui to go into a rare hunt and discovers that is a 'friend' and is in a moral dilemma. Would it just be easier to kill or talk them out of it? Aiming for a Mask - As a long run plot/quest, Loqui is going to try and prove herself worth of a Raven Lord mask. She's unsure of how to prove herself worthy, but with time and her constant gathering of information, Loqui will -always- help her mother and siblings on their tasks, even if she gets nothing out of it in return.

Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No to both Are you an active RPer?: Yes, I try to constantly reply to my rps on time. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Yes, of course ^^ ---------------- Personality: Wen has always sought to look out for herself. She never enjoys when others try to protect her, or shelter her from the world. It was her very nature to want to do things on her own, and to learn on her own. She comes off as head strong, Independent, and Suborn. She approaches life cautiously, but at the same time willing to face danger head on to test her own strength. She can make friends, or allies easily enough. Shy was the last thing you would get from her. Though some can be put off by her very forward nature. When it comes to family, she has always had a strong attachment to them, even despite always fighting to do things on her own she knows that they try to help her because they love her. Through thick and thin, her family will always be her top priority.
Prompt Number: Number one: Your travels with your mother have led you to a strange new land. What is it like? What do you do while you're there?
RP Prompt: Wen was the first one up that morning. They had left the tight forest late in the night and to dark to carry on they rested just under the edge of the tree line. It had been quite the trip to get here, but finally Wen was able to see more then just the trees staring back at her. Leaving her siblings and her mother to sleep off the hard day before she snuck off just as far as the tree line to look out over the clear land, and her raven was quick to follow, riding upon her back still trying to grasp at what little sleep there was left to take. It was nothing like where she popped from her basket, first tasting freedom. No wisps of snow here, it was almost warm, the smell of salty air hit her nose as she took in a deep breath. It was quite a new scent to her, even the way the sun was dancing up in a pink hue on the horizon was different, or maybe she just spent to long in the forest and forgot what a real sunrise was like. Either way it was fresh and new. She had not been here, so she looked at it all as a new adventure containing triumph and failure. She could not wait to experience it, and most of all, she could not wait to meet a new face. "Look at it you sleepy head. Isn't it beautiful?" The testy bird finally opened its eyes ruffling its feathers. "Can't we just look at it in an hour when everyone else wakes?" The bird said before it found its resting hitch shaking, causing him to flutter up to keep from falling. he came to rest upon her head, looking out over the distance. "Looks like everything else we have seen so far to me." "But it is different. Its the first time I have seen that tree, those small birds fluttering and playing in the distance. that is the first rock I have seen in days." She spoke with almost excitement in her voice, even if she was able to keep her body calm. "You have seen rocks Branwen... There was lots of them on the path." "But none as big as that." She was not so much a bundle of excitement as she was calm, just staring out over the land for what seemed like minutes melting into hours, but had that much time really passed when she heard the others stirring, her siblings playing and voices of the elders talking. It was time for her to rejoin the group and get on their way. She took in another deep breath, missing the silence for a moment. "Come along now young filly." The bird took off from its perch on her head, heading back towards the others, stretching its wings in the morning air. She envied his flight for a moment before she made a slow walk back to the others. Plot Ideas: ---Mothers always right: The children wonder off from their mother one day while she and the others are talking. They heard something about a Walker, and being kids they wanted to see one for their own eyes. Little do they know this will be quite the Adventure, one to teach them that when their mother says its to dangerous, she is right. ---Little Bird No More:Irony has it that now she is no longer that little bird tied down to her nest, and finally she has reached the age to fly from the nest and head out on her own. It would be a small heartfelt rp where they say goodbye and head out on their own. ---Where it all started: Wen finds herself in the area where her mother stopped to care for the baskets. It was the closest place she had to finding her father. She had never cared to look for him before. It was time though to pay him a visit. Maybe she would never tell him she was his child, but she would like to look upon his face and see the male who helped her into the world. ---Return to the nest:Though it is hard to gather them all together, Wen decides that it is time to bring the family together for a little reunion. So she goes about tracking them down, and any little feet they have had since they all left and brings them home for a day to spend time together again as family.

User Name: Thalea Name: Hildegarde --- Means “Battle Stronghold” in Old German. Temper: Tenacious Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: Yes to the tri-wing. And yes I own a member of the Lucifer line. [x] Are you an active RPer?: Yes, although recently I have been slow do to the Holidays. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Yes! ---------------- Personality: Adventurous, determined, reliable, ambitious, honest, and loyal are only a few of the traits that Hilde bears. When she sets her mind to something, nothing can sway her from her path, she will see it through or in the extreme, die trying. She is brutally honest and rarely does she hold her tongue when it comes to telling others what she thinks of them or how they are performing a certain skill. Sometimes this gets her into trouble and she has to find creative ways to get out of it. Hilde has a mind for strategy, she could spend hours talking about it with others of like mind and when she is alone she imagines in great detail the outcome of each choice she makes for the imaginary battle. It is her deepest desire to be like her Mother, a Raven Lord and to be granted the mask. Once she had determined this to be her desire, she put all her energy into achieving that goal.
With others who do not share her abrupt ways of speaking, she is more calm and patient with them. Sometimes her patience runs thin with those who just do not seem to get it through their thick skulls, but she hides her frustration until she is a safe distance away. When someone is hurt, she is the first one there, even if she is not as skilled in healing as others, she tries her best to ease their pain. She has a warrior’s knowledge of the healing skill, one that works but does not heal prettily. Most of those who she treats would get jagged scars from where she had sealed the laceration, for was not a Unicorn and could not completely rid the patient of the wound.
She likes to think that she is funny and sometimes she says witty things that cause others to laugh, while other times when she tries to make a joke she is met with blank stares. Hilde does not let that bother her and continues to try to make people laugh to relieve tension.
To those she cares about and those under her care, she is extremely loyal. She would fly to the moon and back for them if they asked her to. She holds her family above all else and woe to the one who tries to ruin it.
She loves the excitement of life and can easily adapt to any situation. Hilde needs to constantly be doing something and thrives when new situations arise. It makes her feel alive when met with difficult odds in which she needs to overcome. Change does not bother her, in fact she welcomes it, for it keeps her from becoming bored and keeps her skills sharp. Prompt Number: 1 RP Prompt: She did not know where they were. They had been traveling for a moon turn or so, and the territory they passed upon was vastly different than any Hildegarde had experienced before. It was wet. Water had flooded the land it seemed and caused everything to have the smell of rotten wood. Trees hung low, their branches mingled with invasive vines. Birds watched from the tops of the trees and took flight when something splashed in the water. It seemed to the young filly that danger lurked around every sunken tree. Not far away from where she and her mother stood upon dry land, or as dry as land could be in the damp place, she saw a floating log with hungry dark eyes. She knew not what sort of creature it was and she knew it was best not to encounter a being that had such a deep hunger for her flesh. Her mother had called the place a swamp and she had said that many soquili and creatures called this horrid place home. Hilde knew that she could not judge the swamp in that way, and as she thought about it, she could see the appeal. The world was shades of blue, green, and grey. Bright colors appeared to be an oddity in this muted world. And from a warrior’s point of view, swamps could be a hindrance as well as a helpful aid. Many enemies could be lead into areas of the swamp where the earth appeared to swallow them whole in quick sand, but it was a treacherous battlefield that would not care who it took down into its sunken depths.
A frantic chirping drew the filly away from her mother’s side and deeper into the muggy world. A colorful bird, that seemed so out of place within in the swamp, was anxiously hopping away from the jaws of one of the floating log creatures. Why could it not fly? One wing was held tightly to the side while the other one flapped as it tried to gain balance upon its tiny stick-like legs. The winged filly gave a yell, which turned the black eyes upon her. Instead of being fearful of a larger target, it seemed to become excited and a burning look came upon its gaze.
Hildegarde stared at the creature for a long moment, not sure how to proceed. The bird had soon realized that it was no longer going to be lunch and had calmed down its frantic movements. It chirped as it looked from the hungry log to the young filly. Where was Muninn? the filly thought, as she cast a quick look to the sky when a blur shot down and grabbed the injured bird in its talons. “Take it to safety! I want to have a look at its wing!” Muninn did not even bother to respond and was soon out of sight.
The young filly returned her gaze to the log. She knew she should run and flee, but what would her mother say? There was a time to flee and a time to fight. Flee to be able to fight another day. With a look at the log and its gaping jaws, Hilde followed the silent advice and fled from the creature. Soon she was back on the dryish land and Muninn was looking at her expectantly. “Do you know what is wrong with its wing?” she asked her raven friend, he cocked his head to the side and used his wing to signal that she should find out for herself. With a sigh, the filly made her away to the injured animal. The wing against the body was been held there by a piece of string. It appeared that it had become tangled in some sort of decoration soquili or humans used to make their homes pretty. “Muninn, you would be better at getting the poor creature untangled than I would, could you please do it?” the raven nodded and used his sharp beak to break the red string. With a cheerful chirp Hilde took as a thank you, the colorful bird took flight. With a shake of her head, Hilde went in search of her mother. Swamps were an interesting place, but she did not think she would ever make one her home.
Plot Ideas:
Learning of the Raven: Learning about the family and what it means to be a Raven Lord. Does Hilde have what it takes?
Mediocre Healer: She learns the healing arts. Perhaps it will be with some of the healers in Daenerys' khalasar.
Flying Lessons: Flying with two wings could be difficult, how does flying with six of them affect how she learns?
The Raventime Adventures: Her and her raven tend to get into some trouble, what kind of trouble do they find and how do they get out of it?
Partners in Crime: Hilde and other foals of the Khalasar would get into mischief and become friends.
Training to be Dedicated Raven Lord: This will involve her proving herself to her mother and herd and gaining the knowledge that to be what her heart desires. This training will happen from Foalhood until she finally receives the honor, if she does receive it. Does Hilde make it to that point? Does something prevent her from achieving her goal?

User Name: Phail Ninja Name: Chulyin (meaning 'Raven') Temper: Unyielding Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: Nope~ Are you an active RPer?: Yes, though I can be slow. But I love RP :3 Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: 1001% yes. In both her and her future offspring. ---------------- Personality:
Chulyin is a very proud individual, not in the usual sense where she would be snobbish towards others and take offence at those who snub her, but rather honestly believes those not of her heritage to be beneath her. She knows she is more powerful, more cunning, more strong than any one individual who would ever face her, but she doesn't judge other people for it. It is a simple fact for her - anyone of her bloodline is instantly accepted with respect to her company. Other individuals may of course gain her respect, for example, Daenerys as the ruler of the herd will be held in very high esteem in Chulyin's eyes, but this is incredibly rare. Others are regarded as simply lesser beings, and will always be treated with a certain coldness and distance. Should they mock her, she won't bat an eyelid at them. Who are they to judge her? Simply no-one of importance, so why should she bother to listen their qualms about her? The only exception to this is any ravens that she meets, they are always held in close regard. Even though she herself is a dedicated class raven lord, she will treat all other ravens not bonded to herself with a great respect and give them aid should they require it.
Because of the very foundation of her views of others, she is very confident and will not be swayed by other people's words from her task. If her mind is set on a task, she will cary it out no matter what - be it an assassination request or a simple reconnaissance mission. Nothing will sway her, she is incredibly hard and unyielding. Of course, there is one exception to this. Anyone who has gained her respect, be they someone not from her heritage (who has had to work to earn this) or someone from her bloodline (who instantly earn it), will be heard out. She is unlikely to do any 'favours' for other people without them being in a position of respect either.
Though to others she can appear cruel, she is simply indifferent to their plights. She prefers to keep mostly to her own, trusting only herself and her raven companion (and her herd leader, as I'd like her to stay with the Khalasar), with whom she keeps close counsel in all of her decisions. Otherwise, she is calm and collected, and tends to calculate her next plan of action very carefully. Opinions are weighed and considered thoroughly, and will only be put aside for certain individuals (such as those who have earned a great deal of respect). The only one who truly knows what goes on in her mind will be her raven familiar.
Prompt Number: 2 - Your raven has injured it's wing and can't fly. What happens next? RP Prompt:
Chulyin could feel something was wrong. It was a strange sensation, reverberating deep within her body. Her fur prickled, her claws were tensed, even her bones seemed to ache with it. She swung her large head from side to side, casting a careful look around her. Was she stepping into an ambush? Was she being followed? A snort erupted through her nostrils as she froze, carefully surveying her surroundings. But there was no one. Nothing. She was alone.
She held herself still, considering her possibilities. It was rare for her instincts to lead her wrong, after all she had come from such a strong bloodline, they had to be well-homed. So she pondered the situation carefully, not trusting the deceptive quiet of her vicinity. The thought came hard and fast. Fechin. Of course the calm had been discerning, it had been too long since her bonded had come to seek her out. Ice gripped her veins as she thought back to when she had last him. Sunrise, at the break of dawn. He had gone to hunt, with the promise to return by noon. She cast her eyes upwards, trying to judge how much time has passed.
The sun was way past mid-day. The feeling of wrongness strengthened, squirming beneath her skin with its urgency. "Oh, Fechin." She sighed, fear blossoming deep within her, threatening to tear her apart. Its cold thorns gripped her heart with each beat. Why wasn't he here? But there was no time for such emotions then, she knew that. Taking a deep breath, she forced calmness through her veins. Relaxing each muscle in turn, one by one. Soothing the frantic hammering of her pulse. Setting her mind on the task at hand.
Something was wrong. That much she knew. He had never missed a rendezvous by this much before. The question remained - should she seek him out, or should she trust him to return to her? That depended entirely on what situation he was in. Had he simply been delayed in his hunt, and was returning her now even as she mused her predicament? Or was it worse, had something befallen him and that required her aid? The latter option was far more severe. It was also far more likely.
Spreading her wings, she took off with a heavy downstroke. The three pairs laboured to bring her body upwards, moving first then and then the other in sequence to provide as much upwards thrust as they could. She shot upwards, feeling the wind forming beneath her feathers. Her eyes darted around, surveying the ground so far below. Where she a raven, where would she go? The answer came to her instantaneously, so well she knew her bonded.
She could predict where he would be, predict what he would do. The two were more like two halves of one being than two separate entities. Cold gripped her chest again, how would she go on if something had happened? But she pushed the notion down. Now was not the time to wonder about 'what ifs', now was the time for action. She changed her course, banking left to approach where she thought he had gone.
She scanned the ground systematically, seeking out any hint of her bonded familiar. There! What was that? A dark shape in the distance took form, but it was too big to be Fechin. She set her target, aiming straight for him. Even if he was not who she sought, he might have information. As she grew closer, her heart began to hammer again. A lone stallion, stood over a small body. A very familiar body.
Fechin! Pressing her wings close to her body, she swooped into a nose-tail dive, accelerating towards the ground with as much urgency as she could muster. A screech echoed from her throat, ripping its way out to signal her arrival. At the last moment, she spread her wings again, catching the air to bring her to an almost dead stop. It was a tricky manoeuvre, one she could only just manage because of her triple wings to catch the air. Had she any fewer, she would have smashed straight into the earth, unable to stop such a fast decent. As it was, she landed agilely on her paws, touching softly down upon the ground.
The stallion had leaped away, looking terrified at her arrival, she she barely batted an eye at him. Her full attention was upon her beloved raven. "Fechin! What happened?" The bird lay on the ground, unresponsive. But she could see the faint rise and fall of his chest. He lived. She moved closer, finally casting an eye upon the stallion.
Had he done this? The stallion was glaring back at her, "Leave him alone! He's just a bird, hardly a mouthful for you." Chulyin gave him a disgusted look. Of course. How petty. All he could think of was food. It wasn't even worth responding to his comments. She turned a cold shoulder towards him, ignoring his remarks.
"Please! Leave him alone! At least put him out of his misery if you're going to eat him." Well, at least the stallion had enough brains to realise he shouldn't try to fight her. She would give him that. But to suggest culling her own precious bonded, that was unforgivable. Padding closer, she crooned gently. "Oh Fechin, what happened to you?"
She gently dropped her lowest set of wings, bending down on one knee so as to be able to reach him. With her second set, she gently rolled him onto the lower set, using them to cradle his small body. She could fly safely with just two pairs, and use that set to hold him secure, as well as keep him warm. Worry strummed through her, but she knew there was no time for it.
She had to find a healer. And fast. Her task was set. She would protect her raven with her life. Ignoring the dumbfounded look of the stranger, she leaped into the air once more, making all due haste back towards her herd lands.
((Fun fact: While Chulyin means 'Raven', Fechin means 'Little Raven'. Might keep the name for her future raven familiar :3))
Plot Ideas:
Part of the Khalasar: I'd actually really love for her to stay on with the Khalasar even if her mother leaves (depending on how RP goes though). Maybe during some situation, perhaps a battle of some sort, Daenerys will perform some action that will sway Chulyin's opinions in her favour. I'd love for her to eventually join as a permanent member, perhaps even joining the queensguard if she is permitted. Of course, that would mean she would be working directly under Roarke. It would be nice if I could get RP where she also accepts his command for some reason (obviously depending on the other owner's ideas and plots etc...).
A Loveless Affair: Breedings for Chulyin would be mostly loveless acts. She cares very little for others, and would likely find a "strong" looking male who would enrich her offspring's bloodlines somehow. Were she to ever take a mate, it would have to be someone who really earned her respect countless times - and this is going to be so hard to do I doubt it will happen.
Earning a Mask: I want Chulyin to eventually earn a mask of her own. Perhaps offered by the Khaleesi for a great service to the herd, or by someone else she earns respect for. I'm not sure how yet, but I intend to eventually have her earn one.
Forming a Bond: This is one of those few times I actually really want to RP a familiar. She and her raven will have such a close bond, I'd love to have some self-RPs just between the two of them. Maybe conferring over some matter she has to face, or even their initial meetings and development of trust between them.
Protecting You: Chulyin would protect her raven with her life. He would be her partner in so many ways, she could not imagine living without him. One of the downsides of being a dedicated class is that the strong bond you form, while being your best tool, also intertwines your lives together so strongly that losing one another would be absolutely unbearable. Maybe a situation would happen where her raven would be threatened, and she would have to decide whether to continue with her duty or to save his life.

Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: no on both accounts Are you an active RPer?: I try to be when life allows... But I am a very active plotter when not able to rp... Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: yes.
---------------- Personality:
virtues- * honorable * unflappable * protective
flaws- * Intolerant * Holds grudges * Doubting
She has strong morals and a sense of honor that cannot be shaken. Impartial and with a great deal of common sense, she has clear sight and is a wonderful judge and mediator... except when the situation involves her or those she allows past her walls and into her heart. She is a judge, mediator and scout, with no ambitions for being anything more.
As a foal- Aza is curious, wanting to know everything about everything. She keeps her eyes open at all times, observing and cataloging all she sees, asking questions about the hows and whys from anyone willing to answer, as long as they are family, or designated by mother as family. She is most interested in raven lore and the history and traditions. It is her ambition to become the greatest raven lord she can be. Though she doubts herself and her abilities. Doubts that become stronger as it takes her longer than expected to learn how to coordinate her wings and even achieve flight.
As a teen/young adult- Still curious, she spends long stretches of time on her own, with her familiar, still scouting and exploring. And, on occasion, acting as an impartial judge or mediator... One such incident leads her to get into trouble with a kalona or a bloodthirsty mutant, who damages a wing, leaving her grounded for however long it takes for the wings to heal. The incident which teaches her about holding grudges ( she will find that soq and make them pay ) as well as teaching her pity and compassion for the flightless beings.
As an adult – Her determination to overcome and to go on despite the struggles and hardships she faces, Aza begins to overcome her self-doubts, proving herself worthy of her bloodline and the history and traditions thereof. Growing up tempers her flaws and hone her virtues, allowing her to become the raven lord she always wanted to be.
Prompt Number: 3. Choose your own adventure! What happens? The aftermath of a battle in which Azaria's wing is injured, and she needs the help of her raven to figure out how bad it is
RP Prompt:
Azaria winced as her wing hung useless at her side. The battle was over. She had survived, but at what cost? Would she ever be able to fly again?
She couldn't bear to look. But there was that in her that needed to know the extent of the damage. If there was any hope. Or if she would be crippled for life, better off dead. She needed to know.
'Dal?' She croaked, her voice harsh and strained. Calling for her best friend, her familiar. Knowing he was out there, that he would do as she asked of him and would let her know - honestly- what she wanted to know. He could be counted on to tell her the truth, no matter what. 'Dal, I need you to look at my wing. I need you to see how bad it is.'
The raven flew in front of her face and bobbed in the air, signalling his assent, before moving to perch on the top of her wings to do as his bonded asked of him.
Bright eyes took in the twisted and broken flight feathers, the bone deep scratches on the top of one of her wings, and a small splinter of bone. Bad wounds, ones that would ground her for a long time, but if they could find a unicorn to heal her - soon -, it wouldn't be permanent. She would be able to soar again.
Lifting off her wing, flying to a perch nearby, Dal motioned with his wings, trying to mime what the injuries were, and that it wasn't all that bad. Using signals they had worked out for communication, as limited as that was.
'Will I be able to fly again?' It was the most pressing concern she had. If she couldn't fly... There was just no way she could survive being grounded for life. She had worked so hard to gain the freedom of the skies.
Dalian bobbed in assent, and she heaved a sigh of relief. At least there was that. She wasn't crippled. She would fly again.
'I think there was a unicorn back there... Past the river, in that secluded grove. It will be a bit of a walk, but they should be willing to help us, right?'
It wasn't going to be a particularly fun journey, and one longer than either would like - in the air it would take them the better part of a day, but walking... it would likely take about a week, possibly more. But it was the best chance they had. Provided nothing else went wrong.... They would be able to soar together once more.
Plot Ideas:
Touch the sky- Azaria learns the freedom and joy of flight after a lot of trial and error. Slow to learn how to get her wings coordinated, and extremely clumsy in the air for a long time, she still loves being in the sky.
Flightless- Azaria battles someone/something and has her wings injured badly and is unable to fly for a period of time. She absolutely abhors being grounded, but learns compassion along with pity for those who don't have the gift of flight.
Earning the Mask- It is Azaria's greatest wish to become a true raven lord. She undergoes many different challenges and hardships to prove her strength, courage and her right to be a raven lord.
I am a Raven Lord- At the end of a great deal of struggle and hardship, and overcoming her self-doubt, and earning her mask, Aza realises she has managed to become what she wanted to be all along.
Territory- It is not her intention to become a conspiracy class raven lord, but as time goes on, Aza manages to find and claim territory for herself and her bonded raven, Dalian. An area which they also open to other ravens. It is a place of safety and sanctuary.
Monogamous- A long, long time down the road, after much heartache and pain, sweat and tears, Aza will look for her other half. The one who completes her. Ravens mate for life. So will she.

User Name: xxx Yuki Bear xxx Name: Chernaya Vorona [ Черная Bорона :: Black Raven ] Temper: Masterful Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: Nope! Are you an active RPer?: Yes! Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Definitely - it seems really interesting and I'm already really into it! ---------------- Personality:
Vorona is a quiet foal who is more intent on observation. She drifts into the background and weaves around conversations, not entirely keen on socializing with others. She likes to call herself a ghost, someone that is there, but effectively invisible. This is not something that bothers her, no. She likes the feeling of being unseen. And while she may resemble a phantom in both her looks and mannerisms, she is a Raven Lord to be. That singular thought bounces around in her head as she is raised within the Khalasar.
She grows to be lean and muscled, and she settles into her skin. Her quiet, ever-observant ways do not leave her, but her soft steps are now paired with power. Her mother teaches her and her siblings the Raven Lord ways, tells them tales of their line, and Vorona inhales the knowledge like it is air. She is given a purpose - an explanation for the pull she has been feeling. A pull that was tugging her away from the Khalasar's trail and towards her own path. Eventually, when she is old enough and ready, she leaves to find her own place as a Raven Lord.
As a mature adult, Vorona is a force to be reckoned with, and she knows it. She is dangerous, not because of her power, but because of her control. Every move she makes is meticulously calculated, and surprise is one of the key elements she uses. She is sleek and silent - the ideal assassin. Most do not know she is there until it is too late. This is how she maintains the safety of her flock and her territory. She does not have any strong bonds towards anyone but her family, her bonded raven, and their flock. With her flock, she is not a ghost, but a leader, and she never expects it to feel as good as it does.
Prompt Number: 2 - Your raven has injured it's wing and can't fly. What happens next?
RP Prompt:
She had just come back from walking the southmost line of her territory, when the nervous energy seemed to smack right into her. The entirety of her flock was gathered in the clearing, chittering endlessly. She caught snippets of 'injured' and 'alpha' and 'healer' before one of the ravens finally noticed her presence and all noise stopped.
"What?" the word that fell from her lips seemed so loud in the silent night. The ravens around her shifted uncomfortably, sensing the shift in their leader's mood.
"He was helping a youngin'," one whispered, keeping his eyes on the ground.
"He hit a branch pretty hard," another added.
"But he's okay," the first one rushed to add. "Alpha is strong, he didn't want you to worry,"
"He's just resting," a white female raven crooned to her right.
Vorona was unsure of what to do. Sure, her raven had been injured before, but she had always been with him when it had happened. Helped him and supported him when he needed her. Like he supported her through her journey. This was the first time she had not been there for her greatest friend. It made her feel... uneasy. Guilty.
The mare shifted, and her eyes took in her flustered flock.
"Where?"
The ravens all looked back and forth at each other, wondering if it was worse to disobey their Alpha or their Alpha's Alpha. Finally, a larger raven stepped forward on his branch.
"He's home," he grunted. With that, Vorona turned and started towards her nest without another word. The ravens took to the air to return to their own nests. Their Alpha was in good hands.
Vorona approached the cliffside cave that housed her sleeping place. She ducked her head through the vines to enter the cave and rose to her full height once she was fully inside. Walking towards her nest of furs, plush moss, and random baubles, Vorona couldn't help the sigh of relief that rushed from her when she saw her raven resting in his own nest to the right of her's. He was looking up at her. He had heard her approach. He was one of the few that ever noticed her and her soft steps, and she liked that.
"How did your border scouting go?" her raven asked, as if he didn't know that she knew. She ignored her question and followed it with one of her own.
"You were hurt?"
"Pah, just a scratch, I'll be flying again in no time" he scoffed, waving a wing that looked like it had taken quite the beating. Vorona's eyes narrowed and she turned away from him. "Aw c'mon don't do that," "I wasn't with you," she hissed. "You could have died,"
"Vorona, I hit a tree branch. Youngin's do that all the time - I'm not that fragile," No, he was, in fact, the largest and strongest raven of their flock. The Alpha. Far from fragile. She sighed and walked forward, looking down at him fondly before settling into her nest for the night. She rolled so that her neck was leaning against the edge of his nest and nosed his beak lightly, like she used to do when she was a foal.
"Don't leave me," she whispered.
"I won't,"
Plot Ideas:
[ Childhood ]
[FOAL] Quoth the Raven :: Vorona bonds with a raven that seems to be her total opposite. She's unsure of how to handle her new friend and he feels about the same. ( "Wow, you're a weird foal - don't you talk?" Bl )
[FOAL] Raven Lord Ways :: Vorona is an information sponge. She learns as much as she can from her mother and those around her in the Khalasar. (Would basically be her learning her roots from her mother and perhaps hearing tales from members of the Khalasar)
[YOUNG ADULT] General Summary :: Vorona has left the Khalasar and started her own journey. But hearing the Raven Lord stories from her mother and actually living the lifestyle were two very different things. Vorona attempts to navigate the Raven Lord life on her own with no one but her snarky raven to help her - It's bound to get messy.
[ The Animals Arc - Potentially a rival/enemy/messed up breeding plot bundle ]
[YOUNG ADULT] Baby, I'm Preying on You Tonight :: Someone tresspasses in Vorona's newly claimed territory. Her new flock looks to her to rectify this and prove her strength. Vorona rises to the challenge and stalks her prey. She finds him and wounds him, but he manages to get away with his life.
[YOUNG ADULT] Hunt You down, Eat You Alive :: One of her ravens returns with news that the trespasser she wounded is holed up in a cave just a stone's throw away from her territory. He has recovered and is too close for comfort. Vorona seeks him out, but is surprised when she fails to catch him off guard this time. Fighting occurs, but it's a stalemate. Vorona is ruffled and tells him there will be no trouble if he stays where he is and does not come into her territory.
[YOUNG ADULT] Just like Animals :: A raven scout reports that the stallion is on the border - and he's brought a friend. Vorona's flock has grown exponentially since their last encounter, and they dislike the stallion as much as she does. She and her flock have their first real fight and emerge victorious. The stallion is dead, and she takes his friend prisoner (or kills them too). This solidifies the bond between Vorona and her flock. Her place as their leader is cemented and they use the fallen stallion's bones as nest decorations.
[ Oh Hey, Adulthood ]
[ADULT] General Summary :: Mature, adult Vorona is a seasoned veteran. She has fought many battles and has protected her territory and her flock members. Nothing is as strong as her bond with them. Rivals may attempt to test her strength and she will rise to any challenge presented to her. She also has odd feelings about children. Does she want them? She's not exactly sure. She leans more towards no, but gets weird warm feelings when she sees raven babies hatch. Awkward conversations with her raven lead to the general consensus that she's not getting any younger and having children will give her someone other than ravens to talk to. At the same time, she dislikes pretty much everyone she encounters and she likes it just being her and her ravens and maybe her kids won't like her and - yeah she's on the fence about breedings.
[ADULT] Glimpses of Childhood :: Vorona reunites with her sisters/mother/the Khalasar when they pass by her territory. Vorona feels a bit like a foal again, but overcomes it and shows everyone what she has accomplished since she left.
User Name: CitrusCupcake Name: Valravn (Danish for "raven of the slain") Temper: Analytical Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No & No Are you an active RPer?: I try to be as active as my muse allows me to be, but she definately wouldn't be neglected Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Yes ---------------- Personality: Valravn (Val for short) can seem pretty creepy, she will watch in an unblinking fashion as you come into her eyeline and won't say anything, merely taking note of you and everything about you before she makes a move. Deliberate and sharp-minded, everything she does comes from logic, and she rarely lets her heart rule her head.
She can also seem cold and unfeeling, but deep down she cherishes the relationships that she does make, and can be as loyal as the next Soquili, especially if you threaten harm to anyone in that circle of her family or acquiantances (and woe betide if you threaten her raven companion).
Valravn has a deep fascination with bones, and the skeleton of all creatures that she comes across. She collects bones that she comes across and has a storage area of sorts (a deep cave with natural 'shelves') in which she keeps the random, single bones that she's come across. Whole or partial skeletons are laid out, examined and then buried with reverence, as she feels that even though the essence or spirit of the creature has long since departed that they should still be treated with respect and not allowed to be scattered to the winds.
Prompt Number: #2 RP Prompt:
"Val..val..val"
The filly tilted her head, trying to work out where the faint voice was coming from. She had been playing hide and seek with her raven companion, but she'd long since counted to a hundred, and had exhausted all the usual hiding holes that her feathery friend used when they played the game with no luck. Now she was just worried and had started running around calling the raven's name, hoping to hear the giggles and teasing as her companion flew out from wherever she'd been hiding and made fun of Valravn for giving up so soon.
That had not happened, and when she heard the weak calls of her name, she felt a chill along her spine and pleaded out loud for her to call louder if she could. A few more tense minutes of this and she found her raven, wedged between two twisted branches in the remains of a rotting tree. She was cawing softly, obviously in pain and one wing was hanging, pointing groundwards.
"How did yo..are you okay?" she asked, though it was a foolish question, as she clearly was not, but a part of Val was hoping this was just another one of her friend's silly jokes.
"I was hiding. The branch broke and I couldn't open my wings fast enough and this happened."
Val wondered if her friend would say more, but she fell silent and it seemed the explanation had exhausted whatever energy she had left. A quick glance at the branches showed that there were score marks that must have been made from beak and claws, so she had tried to free herself before Valravn had found her. The filly reared up, balancing on her back legs and slowly freed the trapped raven, wincing everytime she heard a soft noise as she was trying not to cause her more pain, but the tearing at the old wood occasionally translated into more pain to the raven and she worked as quickly as she could.
Once freed, the raven lay on the ground, her good wing folded against her side, the injured one laid out, Valravn gave it a tentative nudge with her nose, not really knowing what she was doing but unhappy that her raven was injured.
"Can yo..will you get better?" she was surprised to her the whining note in her voice, but she knew what the lack of flight meant and was fearful that this was a permanent thing.
"Only time will tell with that." the raven knew more than the filly did, and knew that if it was broken than the recovery would be long and there was no guarantees of a full recovery, if indeed flight would be possible again at all. But if it was merely a tear of the muscles that drove the wing, then with rest and some gentle exercising, then full mobility should be achieved once more.
"Time." murmured Valravn. "I will wait then." she curled around the raven, like a faithful dog waiting for its master to move, and her raven friend had to chuckle at that, tweaking her nose with affection.
"It might be a longer wait then a few minutes - so lets get me home and then we can wait somewhere safer." she suggested. The filly saw the wisdom in this and nodded, standing again and awkwardly scooping her companion up. Valravn got her back to the safety of her herd and stashed her somewhere to recover, keeping the raven out of prying eyes for the duration.
The raven did eventually recover fully and flew once more, but they never played hide and seek again. Valravn turned her back on anything childish from that day and closed herself to what she felt was fun or frivolous, despite the many protestations from her companion that the accident was her own fault for choosing a poor hiding spot. Val promised herself that her own enjoyment would never lead to anyone she cared for becoming hurt and so vowed that she would only lead a logical life.
Plot Ideas:
The First: As a foal she comes across a slowly rotting corpse of a bird that has exposed bones. She becomes compelled to watch the flesh fall away and leave this fascinating blueprint of what was once far beneath the flesh, muscle, skin and feathers, and she wants to see more, wants to know what everyone looks like deep down.
Lost & Found: Val is asked by someone to find their relations remains as they were lost in a battle and were never seen again. She becomes worried that she will not be able to do as they ask, or worse misidentify remains, and doubts herself.
Find Yourself: Valravn takes herself on a long, soul searching journey, trying to work out the source of her inner turmoil (as she felt she was beyond such emotional burdens), her raven friend being her only companion. She hopes to sort herself out so she can return to her usual state and be able to continue her work with bones.
The Ravens and the Bees: Val's raven friend becomes romantically entangled with another, and she wonders at the freedom with which her companion can lose herself in matter of the heart.
There's much more I want to do than these few plot points but that's just a sample of things I have in mind

User Name: Nayci Name: Hestia
Greek name meaning "altar, hearth, fireside." In mythology, this is the name of a goddess of the hearth.
Temper: Keen
”characterized by strength and distinctness of perception; extremelysensitive or responsive”
Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No to both Are you an active RPer?: Indeed. While I can be a bit slow, I love to rp. Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Absolutely! ---------------- Personality: Hestia is one of those soquili who likes to follow the rules, to keep things in order and keep things from going into chaos. Anything outside of this, this world she has set up for herself, does not compute well within her mind. In fact, it’s one of those things where if someone makes a joke, most of the time it’d go over her head. She likes to stay quiet unless spoken to, unless her opinion is needed, and will quietly watch those around her before even making an appearance. She has a drive to succeed, and she’ll be damned it that gets screwed up because of something that doesn’t fit her purpose in life.
That said, a fulfilling day to her is where things go smoothly and efficiently. One where she learns from her mother and nothing interferes with that learning. However, on the other hand, this desire to do whatever it takes to learn has hindered her social skills. The term relaxation doesn’t mean anything to her. While others may want to go down to the watering hole for a good swim Hestia would be more inclined to continue her flight formations. There can be no relaxation until things are perfect. Procrastination is not an option.
The idea of failure bothers Hestia deeply. She is concerned that what she does will never be good enough. This could stem from insecurities in herself and her abilities, and it could also stem from the idea of not living up to her family name, her herd. To counter this she does her best to never hesitate. To never back down from her decision once it has been made. Whatever the end results, she’ll deal with the consequences regardless of if the decision was correct or incorrect. What happens, happens, and the responsibility of her actions rests on her alone and nobody else. Positive or negative.
Prompt Number:
2 “Your raven has injured it's wing and can't fly. What happens next?”
RP Prompt: “Hestia, you must continue without me. I will just be a hindrance.”
“Don’t be ridiculous Zalavine. Your wing is broken; you are not dying.”
“But I could be. What would you do then? Would you stay with me? Or would you continue onwards? Would you risk your life on the off chance I would survive? Would you risk your brethren in arms to put me upon your back and fly? How would you fight? How would you make sure I would not be more damaged? How would you know you’d survive? You must always be in top condition. There is no other option between life and death.”
Hestia couldn’t help but hesitate for a moment. Still young in age but not in body, it had not been very long since her adult body came to be. It hadn’t been long since her mother had allowed her and her partner Zalavine patrol on their own. And this hesitation bothered her. She did not like it. Not one little bit.
“No, I would leave you then, in that circumstance. But to leave you now would be counter-productive to the goal of today.”
“And what was that goal?”
“To extend our reach and influence over these lands. To grow within mind and body. To not let anything stand in our way. To learn how to let go, let loose any possible chance of hesitation. For hesitation leads to failure. And failure can lead to death.”
“And what is happening now?”
“I am hesitating.”
“And you are not listening to what your gut is telling you. What the winds around us are telling you.”
A frown adorned her maw, her eyes narrowed. She would not fail this test, this mission of the day. No. It was not going to happen.
“Fine, I will leave you then to get back on your own if that is what you wish.”
“I will be fine Hestia. Your mother is not that far behind. She will make sure I get back safely.”
The thought of leaving him did not sit well with her. Even though the logic was sound. Even though everything he had spoken of was sound. It didn’t stop her emotions from coming forward to the surface. And it was in that conflict Hestia disliked immensely. These feelings were for her siblings and others, not herself. This had to stop.
“May the Raven Lords watch you Zalavine.”
“And may the Raven Lords watch over you Hestia.”
With that and, before her hesitation could get the best of her again, Hestia spread her wings wide and took off. And like Zalavine promised, that night he was found sitting next to her as the family surrounded the golden flames of the fire. Plot Ideas: Guiding Light
Zalavine is a hardened crow warrior. He has seen fighting, death, and destruction in his time. He has been paired with Hestia to teach her how to transcend her mortal thoughts into something much more spiritual and pure. The guiding light rps would be about his lessons with her. Where she would be taught how to be a better soquili and a better warrior. There would be success as well as failure.
What are you Hestia?
Throughout her time with Zalavine they have grown a tight nit bond. So close that some would consider it strange and unusual. Through out this plot line Hestia would begin to wonder, does she want a flock of her own? Or does she want to travel with Zalavine and not be controlled by a family unit. To this, she would go to her mother for advice, as her mother has always been a mercenary type.
The Bonded Pair
Saying goodbye to her mother and siblings Hestia and Zalavine would begin to travel as the dedicated class. Offering their services of protection to those who need it. Through this plotline she will begin to learn what it means to truly protect and truly fail. During this time Zalavine will almost die, and it will shake Hestia’s resolve.
Tales of legends
Zalavine will finally tell his story to Hestia. How he used to be bonded to a Raven Lord. And how the Raven Lord fought and died to protect his family and his herd. Through this, however, his Lord became paranoid. And was eventually lost to bloodshed. To this end Hestia will ask if there are other Raven Lords, and if those raven lords all like his previous partner. And Zalavine will tell her there are other Raven Lords in the lands. From this Hestia will go looking for Anzu, to see if the Conspiracy Class is anything like Zalavine had told her.
The Truth
Hestia will eventually find Anzu and his flock. From here she would know what the true meaning of a Raven Lord in the Conspiracy Class is like. From here, she will determine which class is truly hers. From here, she may find a love. She may not. It’d all be dependent upon her meeting with Anzu and his family.
The Mask
After meeting Anzu and seeing how different he is from her mother, Hestia will begin soul searching for her true purpose. If she is ever given the option of a mask during this time, she would decline it, for she doesn’t feel like she has earned it. Through out this time Anzu, Zalavine, and others around her may give her advice or other wisdom that may help. But Hestia will not take that mask until she is sure of mind, body, and soul that she has deserved it.
*From here, depending on how RP’s would go and plots develop, Hestia will go through development through a war plot (should I win her she’d be a part of my warplot with some of my other soquili). From this war plot, whatever it is, her true purpose would come to her. And she would eventually, hopefully, take on the Mask of the Raven Lord. Hestia may take on the Conspiracy Class like Anzu, it would depend on if she discovers someone she loves, if that someone can get through her training to her heart of hearts. And she may take on the Dedicated Class in full force. The plots above are designed for her to learn and to grow into her own, hence why they’re pretty much open ended.*
User Name: Angelique DelaMort Name: Wren (means bird in old English and in other languages means royalty) Temper: Compassionate Do you own a pony with visible tri-wings? Do you own a member of the Lucifer line?: No and No Are you an active RPer?: I try to be! (Sometimes RL gets in the way ^^wink Are you willing to continue the Raven Lord tradition?: Certainly, I love the subculture, they add a unique layer to RP plots ---------------- Personality: Wren carries herself with a simple grace. She cares deeply for those she consider family (family is not always related by blood) and she will protect them with a marked ferociousness. She is a mostly quiet soul who exhibits great compassion for those around her. However that compassion should not be confused for weakness. Wren feels compassion for those who are victims of 'sloppy' kills and shows the dying compassion by ending their suffering swiftly.
She enjoys her life of travel and the adventure that it brings. There's always something new to see and exciting events to entertain her and her siblings. However Wren can be somewhat curious at times, although she knows that unchecked curiosity can lead to dangerous situations so she tries to live up to the expectation of her kind to be wise and make sagacious choices.
Wren looks to follow in her mother's steps as she gets older. She sees the good her mother does in protecting this strange group and ridding the world of dangers untold (not to mention the lifestyle allows them to love as they please and travel the realms). Wren longs for a similar life but knows to do so she must perfect her assassination skills - her nature forbids anything less than a clean kill.
She's off to a good start in her training. Her quite nature makes her inconspicuous while her unique coat and appearance allows her to blend in with the background, both the shadows and the wood lands. Her gaze, already piercing even as a foal she hoped would prove intimidating when necessity called. Wren hopes that all her gifts together will allow her to become proficient mercenary, protector of the realm, and perhaps in time would allow her to earn a mask of her own.
Prompt Number: 2
RP Prompt: Wyvern had fallen out of the sky and Wren's heart had stopped. She folded back her wings to catch her dearest friend before she could hit the ground. "Wyvern!" She cried, an uncharacteristic outburst of emotion warranted only by this most extreme situation. "Wyvern? What happened? Are you alright?" A foolish question, she chided herself as she nudged gently at the raven's wing and recoiled as the bird's body was wrecked with spasms. As the pain seemed to ease slightly, Wyvern continued to spasm on the ground. "Oh Wyvern's what's happened to you?" She knew the bird had been fine throughout the day. It was a traveling day (their group did not tend to stay overly long in a particular place) and they had stopped for their noon meal only a little while before.
The meal, she gasped. Wyvern had returned with some odd berries she had not seen before. After an occasion in her youth she typically wanted to see one of the elders of their parties eat a sample of new flora before she tried it. But Wyvern knew no such bounds. Now she wished her companion would be a little more discerning. Of course now was not the time for chiding.
"Come Wyvern," she said scooping up her companion gingerly. "Do not fret, we will fix this!" she added trying to sound more confident than she truly was. She tucked the bird gently onto her back and moved swiftly to find the best healer in their party, a unicorn that she often avoided. The pair had some disagreements in the past in regards to what Wren considered mercy - the unicorn held the position that her actions were more akin to murder. But none of that mattered now. Wyvern was hurt and nothing, not even damage to her dear pride, would stop Wren from helping her companion.
"Please," is all she said when she found the unicorn and placed Wyvern gently at the other's hooves. "Please help her!" she pleaded.
The unicorn eyed the bird then the Soquili, "What about your 'mercy'?" she questioned quietly.
"I know," Wren admitted quietly. And she acknowledged that if this were some lesser creature in the woods convulsing and full of pain on the ground she would end its suffering. But this was Wyvern, and it may have been selfish, but she could not imagine her life without the bird. She longed to hold onto this soul, even if it meant the bird knew pain. Yes, it was incredibly selfish, but she couldn't help it. This was her best friend and she could not let her go.
Without a word the unicorn leaned down and touched the tip of her horn to the corner of Wren's eye, catching the full year forming there, threatening to fall. The horn then deposited that tear on Wyvern's eye and lingered there for sometime.
After what felt like forever the unicorn spoke, "It's poison, but I imagine you knew that. She will live, but she will be very weak for sometime. If you want to keep her alive you must care for her constantly. Carry her on your back as we travel, it will be some time before she can fly again, you of course will not be able to fly either, you would not want to risk her falling off from a great height, now would you?"
"No," Wren answered quickly. "No, of course not! Thank you so-"
"I'm not done," the unicorn continued. "She can not find her own food either so you will have to do that for her as well for next 2 weeks you should chew her food for her, give her the softened bits - She'll not have the energy to eat anything tough or hard. She will take a long time to heal and she may never be able to fly again like she once did, are you quite certain you want to go through with all this?"
"Yes," Wren answered again firmly pulling a spare cloth and wrapping it around Wyvern, the raven had started to shiver on the ground. "I will care for her, I will protect her. I thank you for your aid. Call upon my service whenever you need it, I will be at your service." As she gently moved Wyvern onto her back she added, "I will remember your kindness."
"Perhaps," the unicorn said softly, "You may Learn something of this kindness. Something to consider young Raven."
"Yes," she said nuzzling Wyvern as the bird seemed to drift into a peaceful sleep. "And of your compassion."
Plot Ideas: - Wren wants to spend time with her siblings (she might be the stick in the mud questioning if they should really do this or that, but she is protective of them) - Wren wants to get to know this unique group that her family travels with a little bit better. She can tell they're an eclectic bunch and is curious how they all came to travel together - Wren hopes her mother can find time to help her train (is she's going to be an assassin as well, she needs to start practicing) - Wren comes across a dying animal and must come to terms with her desire to be compassionate to the creature even those her actions may be distasteful to those around her - Wren cares for her raven Wyvern after an illness and helps the bird get back on her feet (so to speak)
