Well that was an obvious no, she snorted and dropped the bone, going over to some plants and loamy soil to try and get the nasty smell off of her hands. She liked it out here among the critters, it was peaceful in a way, body language being used more then the voice. She liked people too, it was just a different feeling. She sighed happily and scrubbed her hands more. If she had to do that too often she would have to think up a stinky substance that smelled better then dead animal to stuff in her nose.

She returned to Valdor wondering if he still wanted to go somewhere or if this was his destinaton. Either way she wanted to be upwind of this pile of bones, there might not be much flesh left but it sure smelt like it. She tried to gesture to him that she wanted to move away and started walking again.

The little earthling was making motions then started to walk away. Still detecting some of the scent of death on her he moved to the side so he wouldn’t smell it. He let her walk a ways trying to be patient but realizing just how slow those little legs of hers were. Stopping and kneeling again he offered a ride. He knew she was untrained so he would just have to show her what she needed to do when she got on. He planed carefully. As soon as she was on he was going to look back at her and raise his right front leg. Putting it down he would turn in a circle to the right. He would repeat this process with the left and then make sure to look at her own fragile little legs and hope she understood all she would have to do was to put pressure on his legs and he would move in that direction. It might take a few times to show her but so far she had proven to be of a good standing set of intelligence.

Sezarra gamely climbed on wondering where they would be going, she had just settled in confortably when Valdor started...dancing? Tripping? some sort of mate attraction thing?

"Um are you sick?" She tilted her head, what could he possibly be trying to tell her? A direction maybe? Tidal paths? That he had eaten some fermented berries earlier? She scratched her head. Maybe he was itchy. She scratched his shoulder to see what would happen. This was where talking would have been useful but unfortunately they couldn't speak not matter how much she wanted too. Skava watched more amused then not the antics.

Perhaps this little one was to young to learn? And yet having only dealt with adults of the species before he was at a loss. He looked at her leg over his shoulder and raised his own setting it down slowly wanting her to mimic it. The hisser was nearby and looked all the more smug nearly snorting. Growling at it Valdor wondered why it had not trained the little one as the white beast was just as capable of carrying her as Valdor was. Truly it would have been better to have her trained so as to be able to get the little on out of danger quicker was it not?

Seze's brow furrowed. "Would you stop that? Don't you have a place to go?" She pressed down on the offending leg with her foot trying to get him to put it down. She said nothing harsh, knowing he would probably dump her butt if she howled at him. That was not the proper way to deal with creatures so her Daddy said. She tended to agree with him, yell at a radaku and it would pounce or yell back..well at least Daddy's would. But Skava was still a pup. She had never had to yell at Thorvin before. He listened for the most part and yelling at this knew friend would be the height of foolishness, even for her, specially when she was still snack sized. So she well for the gentle foot approach to see if that would help.

Small earthlings are clearly harder to train than Valdor would have thought. When she pressed her foot down he moved in that direction. He moved at an easy jaunt until she changed her seat. He slowed waiting for her next direction. He gave a look to the hisser and it clearly spoke of wondering how it was this little one hadn’t been trained yet. Was the hisser not a rider ready creature or was it just a scout? He hissed softly and tried to angle closer to the hisser. They might not communicate the same but he could use the other in ways to help train the earthling. First he would get her to work on the angle and moving forward before working on other commands. He kept his pace even and smooth not particularly intimidating but was still cautious of assaults from the other beast.

Most curious indeed. Experimentally, Sezarra switched feet and put pressure on the other well muscled shoulder. "Ohhhh thats what you meant, I'm sorry. I'll try to listen better."

Skava bounced off the edge of the path and stuck his nose in a particularly interesting clump of grass, gulping down a rodent which had made the mistake of being beside the wrong trail at the wrong time. He snorted happily, starting to unwind very well in the presence of the Janarim. He raced back to his position in the back, before becoming distracted again and zooming off before them.

"He seems happy, he doesn't usually do that." Maybe she would have to start training him too. That looked like a good right. Hopefully the Janarim would train her well.

"Well, lets head toward the village least we meet a group of people who don't think such an adorable youngling such as myself should get to ride while they walk."

She started attempting to steer him toward the closest village.

At the change of pressure Valdor obediently changed direction. He laxed feeling better. It was clear to him the little one was capable of learning which was a relief. Being part of a non functioning lounge would have been a burden he did not want. The hisser began to move about more freely apparently dismissing Valdor. Giving a rumble of slight annoyance he kept his pace constant and even for his little rider. Let the scout do its job his was more important. The little earthling was chittering at him which was fine.

Following her guidance the smell of earthlings began to get stronger. Valdor became more alert expecting trouble. Was this the little earthling’s lounge or was it some other group. Locating the hisser quickly Valdor let out a long low hiss calling the creature to his attention. Vigilance here was key if this was an enemy encampment. His tail was kept an angle while he walked showing he was ready to attack if needed. Still he would prefer not to while he had such a small rider on his back. Should a fight happen he would have to dump her off and user her fall spot to best protect her so he could move and fight. would she know to get as small as possible so h didn't step on her? Would the hisser protect her as well? Valdor did not have the answer to these thoughts so avoiding a fight was preferable for now.

As they stolled into town, Thorvin obediently coming closer to walk with the janarim, Seze waved at stunned onlookers. She kept her face placid and regal, not just anyone could ride a creature like Valdor, for all they knew she had battled this beast to get this privelage, not just been steady and hoping she didn't get eaten. Riding him was a gift that only he could give and she would treasure this memory for a looong time. She patted him comfortingly.

She didn't think her Daddy would like to see her come home with a janarim or Mama either for that matter but what could she do?

The other earthlings in the area looked at him wearily. Valfor didn’t like it. He made a low growl when one came closer to him. It didn’t smell like the little earthling on him at all and as such would not be allowed near her. The hisser near him was tolerable though barely. He continued to follow her directions until he found himself near an earthling dwealling. It smelled more like the little rider so he slowed approaching it. Finding himself close enough for his comfort he stopped and promptly lowered his front legs so the small one could get off and not be damaged by the dismount. Earthlings were frail things after all. The lack of hard scales was ever a pain and tedious thing.

Sezarra plopped off and patted her new friend. "Thank you, you made my day new friend. I don't suppose you have somewhere to hide for a while? Oh wait, here let me get you something."

She disapeared into her dwelling and found some spare meat, she came out and offered the small offering to Valdor, a small token of her thanks. She wasn't sure what to do with him now. She didn't think that they exactly had room quite yet for him and she had the distinct feeling that he was a friend to her but not her bonded. There was someone else out there for him and she could feel right down to her toes that there was a janarim out there for her too, but this was not him.

She kissed his forehead and tried to indicate he was to go where she wished. She made sure her feeling of belonging radiated through her and would appear in her body language.

He was hesitant to let her roam into the earthling dwelling alone but the place smelled of her so much it should be safe. Shifting in mild agitation it was a while before she came out with meat in hand. It wasn’t much but given how small her frame was it wasn’t surprising. Sniffing it he gingerly took it from her before tossing his had back and gulping it down. It must be a thank you and gratitude for taking her safely back to this place. Valdor looked at the hisser seeing how comfortable it was here. Seeing how at ease it was Valdor was satisfied. This was the little earthling’s home. That meant it was back with it’s lounge. The next action she took was a strange one. Enduring it Valdor huffed in her face and then placed his head over hers and used his jaw to rub the back of her head. Her actions of exposing her throat in trust had not gone unnoticed or unappreciated. After having returned the favor Valdor stood and began to leave. Looking back once he decided he would come back and check on the little one latter, for now being too close to a strange earthling group was more unsettling than he could take.
