Liira was already thinking about the last snowball fight she was in when she felt the icy chill of snow falling into her coat. She swung around to face Tau but he was already whining about being out here. "Don't be such a baby." She laughed out before returning the favor with some snow shoved into his pants. She put her hands on her hips and grinned up at him when she felt another splash of snow coming from the Sauti team. "What?" She barked into the air before turning to face the opposition.
There was a mixed girl waving at her from across the way. Did she know her? The pigtails were familiar... It was the little girl from the last snowball fight. She laughed out and sharp shooted a snowball for a direct hit to her chest. Old rivalries always had Liira in a good mood.

Niabi squirmed where she was. She wasn't sure she liked the cold, but had heard about this big fight from other Alkidike and heard earthlings chatting about it on the way east. She was trying lately to travel like she said she would all that time ago, but she was starting to think it wasn't so worth it.
She watched her breath leave her mouth and felt a little bit of wonder and excitement. There were some good things to this she guessed. She looked at the snow at her feet and picked up a little chunk to pack in. It was a wimpy ball, but she was starting slow. She threw to the other team but all her throws ended up short. Maybe she needed to make her balls a little bigger...

Sriina looked down at her feet, now buried in the white blanket around them. This was snow? She bent over and poked a finger in. It was fluffy, but crunched her impressions into the blank canvas around her. And she was supposed to believe that this is frozen water? It was freezing even to her glove covered hand. Her hair had already accumulated a surprising amount of white. She pursed her lips. She wasn't sure if she liked this.
She grabbed a fistful of snow and squished it into a ball between her fingers. It held its shape. Surprising. She threw it across the way and missed. Well that was anticlimactic.

Betoto was wrapped in almost all of her clothes just to stay warm. Her fingertips were slightly numb as was her nose. She heard stories about how fun this was, though she was never able to come until today.
She quickly packed the cold frozen water and threw them s quick as she could, though because of that, only one actually hit someone on the other team. She jumped up and down and smiled to the man she hit, glad it was all for fun and games.

The hefty Onora looked around in astonishment. Never had she seen this thing called 'snow.' She heard stories form her father but it was all very boring at the time. Her mind wished she paid more attention before. After plopping down, Onora started making snowballs but it seemed everytime she tried throwing them, they went no where near the other team.
She decided to instead build a mound of snow and start shaping them into little people, and smiled as she smashed all the Obans she made.

The young hybrid shifter boy looked about with very wide eyes at this white cold substance. What was this?! It was sooo fluffy! He ran about screeching happily, falling over ad rolling in the cold stuff. He giggled and sat up, his dark skin speckled white the white of snow and looked around. He saw others throwing snow balls and wanted to join in. His tiny hands, warmly bundled (dream magic!), made tiny balls that he threw at his parents before running chortling away.

Shaka was in awe at the landscape. What was this? Is this the cold snow people kept talking about? He'd lived in warm tropics or the dry Oba for all his life and had never seen this snow. He spent a good hour stepping in it, making foot prints until some little squirts snow ball hit him. Then he dove into the fight with a laugh.

Grumpy butt was being his usual grumpy self. Why would he want to play in the snow with these hooligans? Why were they doing such weird and childish games anyways? The pristine beauty of the snow was meant to be observed and quietly enjoyed! Not interrupted by screeching children or adults acting like kids! He sat huffily off to the side until one of those self same screeching children pegged him in the back. With a growl he used his magic to build a barrier to keep them off and prepared for his revenge!

Vollerei ran about in the snow with Neska for a bit, lobbing huge balls of snow (more like cannon balls than tiny snow balls!) at other Alkidikes and burying Obans before she retreated to the side to watch her daughter play and eat. It maybe a dream but hey! It had tasty food~ New stuff too....
