Dejected, Tau rolled over onto his feet and pulled on his shorts. Guess that settled that. "I'm holding you to it."
He turned to her and smirked. "If practice makes perfect then next time I might be too much for you to handle." He chuckled. He had confidence in his abilities to woo her over. Even if it took a couple of trips, she would end up wanting him for good.
They left the inn and parted ways, Tau not really expecting to see her again for a while. The last time they had seen each other was months before that, so if that was going to be a pattern he had a decent amount of time to wait.

Liira stomped through the hot desert sand, kicking it when the urge felt right. This was just great. She had only been gone from Tale for three months and she was already back here. And this time it wasn't for her father.
She made her way with grim determination towards Tau's family home, knocking hard and waiting for an answer.
She was more furious than anything, and was more than wanting to knock something's teeth in.

Tau opened the door to his house, glad that his mother and brother were out of the house. It meant less questioning and - after opening the door - more alone time. He smirked down at the petite ice earthling banging down his door. "I have to say, I wasn't expecting you again so soon, but I'm ready for more." He reached to grab onto her like he had the last time and she slapped his hands away.
He could only look down at her in confusion. What was her problem? "What's wrong with you?" He asked pointedly.

Liira slapped his hands away glared at Tau. "What's wrong with me? How about you tell me what's wrong with you?" She fumed.
She shoved a finger at him and pushed him farther back into the home. "I'm pregnant you moron and it's all your fault." She was practically screaming at this point.
She wasn't going back home now. She wouldn't be able to carry a baby in Zena with her parents around. Not when they had no idea she was even seeing anyone. Especially when she wasn't actually seeing anyone. Tau was a toy, a play thing, and now she was stuck with him.
She plopped herself down on the couch and crossed her arms over her chest.

Tau stared dumbly at Liira. What....? He opened his mouth but nothing came out, closing it again before trying to speak. "What do you mean pregnant?" He watched her plop herself on the couch in the family room and scratched the back of his head. "Are... are you sure it's mine?" He asked.
She sent him a glare that said 'stupid question'. He felt his stomach roll. This was going to be even harder to tell his mom than when he brought home his scorra. "Well... damn." He plopped himself next to Liira on the couch. "Guess you're moving in then?" Liira had some with a pack on her shoulders, so something told him that he was stuck with her. And while the weight of the responsibility continued to settle itself onto his shoulders there was something else there too.
Hope. He had Liira. And maybe with time she could learn to live with the thought of being with him and their kid. He stared off into the distance, a little nervous of actually making eye contact with Liira.
Guess it was settled now. They would be seeing a lot more of each other from now on.
