She listened with rapt attention, and this had been, to date, the most informative spiel she had heard about the notorious Sun Lead. Admittedly, she wasn't sure if she should find it comforting that he was apparently going to like her...if all that craziness followed. The shift in America's tone immediately pulled her from her thoughts, and this insight into the craziness did put a new perspective on things...Hm.

"...Pikachu suit." Claude repeated, almost as if she hadn't heard her right, and seemed to perk at the mention of the Division Assistant and his stone cold demeanor. Already she found herself liking this Simon. He seemed like a kindred spirit.

"Where's he?"

America snorted around her drink, "Either doing playing division maid or near Allan, gun drawn and ready to shoot folks for being late, dawdle, making Allan sad..."

She shrugged, "Got a bit of a fanclub up here too, man in a nice suit and glasses is all sorts of people's type." Having noticed Claude's interest, the girl waggled her eyebrows suggestively.

Hm. She was apparently sorted into the Division where she wouldn't see her leads often...this was both a blessing and a curse as she worked on, hopefully, bettering herself. America's brow waggle was met with a flat look.

"No."

Claude took a swig of her beer, content to slowly work on the bottle. America seemed to have a level head on her shoulders, which felt like a rarity here. Claude was finding it pleasant to pick her brain about things here and there, and she found another subject to ask her about.

"Your opinion on Twitter." A pause. "I've been here a handful of months, and I haven't made one because I believe it to be useless." Apparently there were hidden gems here and there...but really.

"Best and worst," America answered quickly. "Like it's good for information and such? And if you like drama it's some ******** Jerry Springer s**t, okay. But there's like no safety zone, everybody is potentially a target on there and while you get lots of info on people, you stand a chance of too much info."

She paused, taking a contemplative sip of her drink before admitting, "I used to get really worked up at somethings and it uh, got the attention of a really shitty person that I haven't yet managed to get rid of. Lately though the biggest danger on there to me is my tendency to get publicly sappy over my boyfriend." She sounded a bit chagrined over the last.

"But mostly it's people asking questions, getting decent answers, getting shitty answers, and outright claws out snipey ******** catfights."

America confirmed everything she thought about it. She also shed light on how it was worse. She got the attention of someone, huh?

Claude figured it couldn't hurt to ask her another question. She deemed she'd get a reasonable answer about it. "Will I be fine without it?" Or...was it somehow suicide to not have it.

The girl considered it and then shrugged, "Lots of people don't use it. Probably helps them keep from getting riled up. But," America's voice turned slightly stern, "sometimes that's just ignorance being bliss. Question to ask is: how important is staying on top of stuff to you? Lotta folks just expect Suns to go hit whatever their pointed at."

"That's ignorant." Claude stated. To be expected to hit whatever told? Without knowing what or why exactly? No.

She gave a small thoughtful hum. Staying on top of matters was important to her...she wasn't the type to be told what to do and when without knowing why. This idea was something to think about for a while, but it made for a very convincing argument.

"Thanks." Claude replied with a small dip of her head for the talk. She then finished off the rest of her beer and stood. "I'll let you get back to your sun bathing." The trainee had reached the end of her line of questioning...for now.

With a small wave, America watched Claude walk away until the other girl was out of sight. Picking up her bottle she quietly sang into it like a mic. "Look at that booty. Show me the booty. Gimme the booty. I want the booty. Back up tha booty. I need tha booty. I like the booty. Oh, what a booty. Shakin' that booty. I saw tha booty..."
