-CrossroadsQueen- yum_puddi its not that big of a deal yum_puddi Åℓ℮✖ Ш☺łƒ℮  ~! Alex awoke the next morning with a huge headache. he took some painkillers and looked at his phone while undressing for a shower, but what he saw reminded him of everything that happened yesterday. He decided not to make an issue of and just take his responsibilites for his drunken antics, for it was the first time he drank after being 2 years sober. He set down his phone and got in the shower. After he got dressed in some black skinnys with a bright red tshirt . A few hours he got into his car and later he drove to the local campus. When he arrived he sat in the middle of the clearing under the huge willow tree in the front of the school. Alex pulled his phone texted Kartina 'Im under the big tree in out front when you get out ill be there.' He then laid down and toop a nap until school got out. Today was his day off, So he didn't mind however long it took. !~

   Looks can be deserving ~ >> The next morning was torture. Waking bright and early, the girl dreaded the day ahead, the only thing getting her out of bed was the fact that she was going to get to met with Alex. Once she was ready, she headed down the stairs and into the kitchen, where her father sat, news paper in hand as he sipped a cup of coffee. "So what are you doing today?.. I hope you don't plan on missing any classes Katarina" her father said, looking up at her from his news paper. The female held back a shiver "I know dad..." she said, deciding that she wasn't really all the hungry. Grabbing her keys, she rushed out the door and got into her car, driving to the college before her father changed his mind on letting her go with all her electronics.
Karole rushed from class to class, dreading the program and wishing her parents had allowed her to do what she wanted, and not force her to become something they wanted her too. Finding a seat in one of her chemistry classes, she felt her phone go off and puled it out. When she read they message from Alex, she couldn't help but smile. Putting her phone away as her prof walked in, she tried her best to pay attention to the boring, dullness of both the teachers voice and the topic. When the class was over, she couldn't escape any faster as she headed for the stop Alex was supposed to be in. When she spotted him, she giggled softly as she realized that he had fallen asleep. Sitting beside him, she whispered softly "Alex?..." before she pulled out a few burgers she bought on her way here. "I've got food" she said as she watched him. <<

Alex looked up and didn't say anything he sat against the tree and crossed his arms. as shes sat down and got comfortable he asked "Why? You told me me we could hang out one last time... I waited by the phone for three days." a tear built up in his eye. "You never even called" he added. He out streched his arm for the food. Then sat back and waited for her response. his eyes pointed at the ground between them. !~

Taco Gizz It's okay. I'm pretty exhausted myself... Finals are killer... And I've got three more till I'm home free for a month... Looks can be deserving ~ >> When her friend spoke, Karole felt as though someone had stabbed a knife right through her chest. To make it worse, she could hear the hurt in Alex's voice. She wanted desperately to tell him how her father had refused her to call anyone from here. But she couldn't do it, she blamed herself for how Alex was feeling. "I'm sorry..." she said simply, holding back the tears that stung her own eyes. With a sigh, she hugged her knees to her chest and decided she wasn't all that hungry again. She looked out at all the other students and teachers rushing about. She wondered what it would be like to play the piano again. Her hands ached to be over the keys of one, her mind needing the escape that playing often brought her. But her parents had also taken that from her, and bit by bit they were slowly taking away everything that made her who she was.
After a few moments of silence, she stood "I know I should have called.. Or written... Or come back... But it was a two way street.... You could have done the same... But you never did either...." she said, knowing she would probably regret the words that had spilled from her mouth, but even so, he could have tried too. "I'd better get to class.... I don't want my father taking my phone for months again...." she said as she left Alex and the burgers and made her way to class. When Karole was seat behind a desk, she bit her bottom lip and forced herself to smile, she would not allow herself to cry, not in class, and not now. She tried her best to pay attention, but her mind wandered to Alex.. She'd messed up with her friend.. But she didn't quite know how it could be fixed, much less if it could be fixed at all. He'd given he a chance she had probably blown, but it was too late now, there was no taking back what had been said. <<

-CrossroadsQueen- Ya sorry i have been off and on been really busy. Åℓ℮✖ Ш☺łƒ℮ ~! Alex sat there stunned he had blamed everything on that friendship, that he never realized his faults. He quickly took in what she said, but it was too late. He had messed it up. Alex always had a thing where he could get akward but he hasn't gotten that bad since grade school. He sighed and got up. he sent her a text message saying 'i'm sorry i let my emotions get the best of me. mabye lets go somewhere neutral. our 'Hideout'.' Alex and Karole used to go to this cave by a lake nearby. he hoped i would help calm his nerves. He locked his phone and got in his car and drove to the Lake !~

Looks can be deserving ~ >> Karole was just starting to focus and get over the little moment that had passed with Alex when her phone went off in her pocket. Thinking it was her dad asking if she was really attending classes, she pulled it out and read the message. At first all she could do was stare at it and blink, no expression on her face at all. But eventually she sighed and put the phone away So now it's in the cave... she thought. It had been a couple years since she'd been there, it would be nice to go back. With a nod to herself, he decided that she'd go. Of course she told herself it wasn't for Alex, but she knew that was a lie. When the class came to a close, she turned to one of the people sitting beside her and asked what she'd missed. The person starred at her a moment for explaining they had an assignment. She thanked them before she turned and left the lecture hall.
Karole walked out to her car and got inside. She started it and placed her bag and belongings neatly on the seat beside her before she headed towards the cave. Parking her car, she got out and looked out at the lake. She stood there for a few moments, just taking in the view that she'd once looked at almost everyday. With a sigh, she straightened herself and locked her car doors before walking towards the cave. She walked in and smiled "Hello!" she called, hearing her echo. It was refreshing, to be back in the one place she'd used to get away from everything. She looked around and found Alex sitting in the usual spot. "Hey" she said as she sat next to him. <<

-CrossroadsQueen- Again, sorry i have had some family Troubles. Åℓ℮✖ Ш☺łƒ℮ ~! Alex looked up from his phone and quickly hugged the girl. When he let go he replied "I'm sorry i had only just gotten over you leaving. and i wasn't expecting to see you.." Alex Knew that was no excuse for his behavior but he hoped she would understand. He smiled and crossed his arms uncomfortably. He stood up and reached into his backpack and brought out some Fireworks " I thought we could do somehing fun." he said as he lit one and it lit up the cave. !~

Taco Gizz It's okay, no need to apologize smile I understand Looks can be deserving ~ >> When Alex hugged her, Karole felt a sense of safety. She lifted her arms and hugged him back before he pulled away. When Alex began to apologize, she felt horrible "It's okay... I mean I did leave.... I never said good bye...." she said softly. They stood in a few moments of silence before Alex whipped out some fireworks. She eyed them, wishing her parents had never ripped her from her life here. Alex's voice broken the blank state of her mind. She looked up and gave him a soft smile "Sounds good" she said as she watched him lit the first one. When it lit the cave, she looked around and remembered all the times she and Alex had run off to this very cave.
Turning back to him, she lit a fire work and watched it go off, once again making light dance across the walls of the cave. She watched the fire work as it's light died out. Why couldn't things be like this all the time?..... Why can't we stay in this cave..... Stay and never have a care in the world?... she thought to herself as she felt the sting of tears in her eyes. Karole heard her phone go off, she looked at Alex before she pulled it out and read the message from her father. "a*****e" she muttered before she chucked the phone at the cave wall. Karole wasn't known for violence, she wasn't known for every being all that upset. Before she could stop herself, she was breaking down. Tears and struggled cries escaped her eyes and mouth as she cursed herself for breaking while Alex was there. <<

Åℓ℮✖ Ш☺łƒ℮ ~! Alex quickly went to comfort her getting some tissue from his bag. "It's okay. i just expect to see you here." he sat next to her and pulled out some marshmallows. He smiled as he got up and lit a fire. he had some brush ready. He then quickly scooped Karole up and set her next to by the fire. He handed her a poking stick with a marshmallow on it. "Eat something sweet and get you mind off it. "I brought some drinks if you want some!" He smiled. He had always hated seeing her cry. it hit him where it hurts. "or mabye we can play a game!" !~

Looks can be deserving ~ >> Feeling Alex's arms wrap around her small frame, she accepted the tissues he grabbed for her and dabbed at her eyes. She watched as Alex moved away from her. She said nothing as he lit the fire and produced a bag of marshmallows from his bag. It felt like he'd almost known that she was going to cry and packed just the right things. When he lifted her into his arms, Karole couldn't help but blink and blush lightly. She'd never been carried like this before and she had never noticed how lean and muscular her friend was. When Alex set her down, she accepted the stick and nodded when he said sugar would help. Karole tried her best not to burn the marshmallow into a black crater as she stared into the flames. She wondered what Alex was thinking about, he probably thought she was pathetic for crying out of the blue. <<

Åℓ℮✖ Ш☺łƒ℮ ~! Alex smirked "Honestly i thought i was going to cry.... But when you told m what happened i couldnt stay mad. i mean we are best friends right? Alex chewd his golden brown marshmallow and laid down. "It's my fault too. Dont try to take all the blame. I love you spooks he leaned over and gave her a tight hug then layed back against the wall. He took a deep breath 'Wow this week keep getting weirder..... but mabye its a good thing' he smiled and ate marshmallows. he was hungry he wished he had bought real food but these had lots of sugar so atleast they taste yummy!~ OOC: sorry its so short. im not sure where to go with the conversation...Sorry D:

Looks can be deserving ~ >> Smiling when Alex said they were best friends, Karole leaned into his embrace and lay back with him, watching as he down marshmallows like they were his only survival. It was great that she had finally gotten her best friend back. She had missed Alex, and it was great that she could get her best friend back, she'd never quite been able to connect with someone like she'd connected with Alex. Not even Jared, her ex boyfriend, had been as amazing as Alex. Hearing her stomach growl, she blushed and turned to Alex "I do love this marshmallow dinner.. But I'm totally down to get some real food if you are?... Maybe we could go to the dinner.. The one we used to go to all the time?..." she said, trying to remember the name "What was it called again?" she said, mostly to herself. <<
