That's true, what you're aunt said. It's recommended to eat nothing after 7 or 8m. It works together with the body clock, too.
It boosts your immune system as well. There are many MANY benefits to healthy fasting. You can also fast on kedgeree. Eating that three times a day for three days or more resets and heals the digestive system.Welcome to the challenge! I'm so glad you joined!
I also find that very hard to do, so I'm drinking two cups of boiled water (not scalding, but still hot) before breakfast upon waking, and before lunch, when I feel my tummy emptying, I drink another cup of hot water (which helps me wait for the actual lunch time and not eat double lunch as I sometimes do). At what time do you go to bed? Have you considered getting up earlier? It doesn't matter when you drink it. The key principle is t drink some water on an empty stomach. Even if it's just two glasses or cups upon waking up, you'll already feel much better: more energised and such.
See the rules of the challenges as guidelines. We all have different bodies and different things our bodies need. Do what feels comfortable for your body (not your mind, because in health challenges we often battle our minds to refrain from relapsing into bad habits - for me, that is over eating lol), and let us know how it goes. I've seen a similar clock, but I wonder how it works when you go to bed at 2:00am or later. :/ I've been bad. It looks like tomorrow will be day 1 again. xD I was woken up to breakfast so I didn't drink my water. I didn't drink enough yesterday either. gonk So drinking water today and hoping tomorrow I will drink the 2 cups on an empty stomach. I've been using water bottles that are about 2 1/2 cups. So drink a full one in the morning, then put an x on it every time I drink the whole thing. Once I drink it all I throw it away. 4 water bottles a day would be perfect. I'm still gonna try to drink a lot today even though I messed up this morning.

I might end up having to do the two cups prior to leaving for work and then having two cups when I get there because I have time between the time I get to work through the time I actually start. I'm hoping that this can help me stop with the overeating that I so often do!

2 cups boiled water on an empty stomach. Another cup of boiled water after lunch, then a cup of chicory root tea, and I will now have another cup of boiled water after dinner (which was an hour and a half ago). Today is going a bit slow.

Okay. Tomorrow it's back to day 1 for me. stare Drank only one cup of chicory and half a cup of hot water this morning. Even my meal times are messed up today.

I definitely need to start doing this again. I used to drink a lot of water in the morning, but now I don't. Day 1 starts tomorrow for me. I sometimes drink warm water with lemon and/or ginger. It's really great!

Did. And yeah, as long as it doesn't contain the tea herb, as that contains a bit of caffeine that we don't want in our water regime. c:

W0LFKING Sign me up for level 1 please! C: Does tea without milk and suger count? As good as tea is for you, drinking excessive amounts can dehydrate you! I went to my chiropractor because I have a lot of aches and pains, and she said My muscles aren't getting enough water. I told her I drink a lot of green tea/ other teas, and she said you NEED water in your system as well.
