I agree with some of the things previously said. 3nodding
Practice definitely helps, and it's good to develop your own style. However, I think drawing in general takes a bit of natural skill and dedication, and while it's good to try things on your own, sometimes it helps to imitate someone else's style to get a feel for it. There is a line between imitation and art theft, though. If you use a reference, always be sure to give credit where it is due. 3nodding

LoathedWolfSpirit I'm very so-so though I am getting better. I can't draw the body or clothes very well and the shape of the face is really hard for me. I guess I can be good if I work really hard at it, anyone can... I'm just one of the lazy ones ^^; Exactly what he said ^^

there are different ways of drawing anime, when you might fail with a pencil, you might succede with the mouse. try drawing on the computer, I just started, for example I practiced with my sig (yes I drew it, and I'm not afraid to brag) I just wish I had a better program. or it comps don't float your boat, you can try paint or pastel of macaronii... oh yes It can be done with macaronii!

Try tracing a bit to get the feel at how to do some lines. It helps to a point. Sketching helps a lot too.
