As Shido and company entered the halls Shido smelled death in the air as a deep fog seemed to fill the area they entered. He had summoned his fiery keyblade on the way and turned back to Kelina, Miao, and Akashisen. "Were not alone here."

Kelina looked around with cold eyes. She's been here before many times. However, this was different.
"Keep your wits about you, all of you." she said in a causious tone

Dk looked around, then her eyes shot to Kelina
"This place, so much death....I can hear screams from long ago here."

She wasn't going to summon her weapons until the fight has begun. Who knows what lied here.

Akashisen stood firm, holding her keyblade towards the Dark Thorn and its Shadow Stalkers. However, Miao needed to cover her ears when the Dark Thorn howled.
Once the Dark Thorn was finished howling, Miao looked at it while she gritted her teeth at it, "RAAAAWR!!! At you too!" Miao said in response.
Akashisen sighed, "Miao, focus." she said, keeping her eyes on her targets. Her attention, however, was focused on the Shadow Stalkers, "Careful guys...these guys seem a little off than how they usually are..."

Shido then noticed the giant beast back up and the Stalkers move forward before they opened there mouths. Energy formed up in them before they sent out a volley of dark energy blasts at the group. Shido reacted quickly and moved in front of everyone and shoved his keyblade into the ground sending up a wall of fire which deflected the blast. That seemed to be the Dark thorns cue as it ran forward through the stalkers and broke the fire barrier sending Shido skidding back from the impact. The thorn then rose up ad slammed its paws into the ground sending dark flares toward the other 4 members of the group.

Kelina, whom was without weapon, started to punch and kick the darkball heartless annoyed at each time it would rebound.

Dk unleashed a energy pulse at the Dark Thorn as well as the dark balls in a wide arc attack.

Akashisen took note of what Shido told them and grabbed the back of Miao's collar. As the dark thorn was charging at them, Akashisen jumped out of the way while pulling Miao with her.
Not expecting to be pulled out of the way, Miao was actually surprised and stumbled a bit before standing upright.
As the dark thorn missed its charge, Akashisen pointed her keyblade at it, firing some kunais at it.

Shido started to run around the arena they were on and was sending out fireballs at the dark balls. With the combination of Dk's and Shido's attacks they were taken care of easily. That left the dark thorn. It caught Shido off guard by running at him and jumping up at him. The dragonkin quickly fell back and lifted his keyblade up preventing the giant death heartless from eating him alive by sticking the keyblade in its mouth lodging it there but it was a struggle to keep it there. Plus the flames from the keyblade were burning the heartless's mouth. "A little ugh help over here?" Shido said as he struggled with the large beast.
