"Great!" Zin said happily.
The doctor finished testing Lenore and scribbled down a prescription. Finished, the two were free to leave and Zin lead her friend back to the dorms. "You know," she said to Lenore, "They'll probably send you military-grade prescription goggles along with your glasses, so you can wear them when you use 3D gear, too. I saw someone else using them. You'll look super cool!" She grinned widely, already excited by the prospect. "Until then, I'll be your seeing-eye friend! Want me to read to you?" She winked teasingly, expecting her offer to be refused.

Lenore tried and failed to match her friends enthusiasm. "Maybe?" At the other girl's offer to read to her, Lenore was silent a moment, blushing slightly. Finally, she nodded. "If you don't mind...?"

"Heheh, okay!" the pigtailed girl laughed. "I'd love to! I'll lead the way." She grabbed Lenore's hand again and tugged her along. Though she hadn't expected Lenore to agree, she was glad that she had. Zin did not feel the slightest bit awkward; it was a new game that she felt proud to play. Her best friend loved reading more than anything in the world, so Zin was glad to take part in it. Seeing Lenore happy was the best sight in Zinnia's opinion-- and she would do anything to continue to see her like that.
