It is very late and I am very tired but I wanted to leave you a quick note before things got too far along because I have been fretting about this for a while now--

As far as I can tell, your essences as they currently are, do not work!

Razor Leaves is a nice start and base, I think, but you make them coated in metal which is highly unnecessary. It would be much more workable as a fel essence if the metal was scrapped and yet they were still razor sharp and could cut through those things. The description is extremely small, though, I definitely recommend fleshing this out.

As for the laurels, even though you note the leaves and all are not man made -- which is fine, a laurel tree/bush made of these materials after the storm could happen -- the fact a crown itself was fashioned means it was man made and you reference this yourself. Essences cannot have been created like this in any fashion, they must be "naturally" occurring unnatural phenomena and the only way for this to be possible is if you make the gilded laurels not a crown but gilded leaves.

Of the two I feel like your Razor Leaves have much more potential so that would be my suggestion to stick with! However, I hope you can find a way to make the laurels workable if you are particularly attached to them!

STILL TRYING TO THINK OF FAIRY TALE STUFF PIDGE, I'm trying to think outside the box and try to expand on things like "fairy godmothers" or "happily ever afters" or something involving enchantments that usually go hand-in-hand with fairy tales, both good or bad.... it's just so hard for me to come up with a solid concept. ;w;

HI PIDGE long time no talk, I got really overwhelmed with work for a few weeks and almost exploded from sleepiness and stress. D; I definitely still wanna RP with you if you want to brainstorm with me on some ideas!

As for your essences, I think Razor Leaves is effective and works, it's simple but fel essences are best when simple, I think. ouo b

(Just an FYI, if any of this steps on Ekundayo's toes then I apologize and disregard it all due to the emotions thing and whatnot aaaaah)

I enjoy the Mood Stone, too, but I wonder about the way it captures the emotions of everyone around it. What is the radius of emotions it can capture? And does that include animals, bugs, etc? Maybe it just reflects the emotions of whoever is touching it, so if more than one person were to touch it it would display vivid, complex mixtures of emotions, both trying to display their colors dominantly based on who was feeling what the strongest. Otherwise, if not held it would be solid black. So yes, it would easily be mistaken for a regular mood stone, but WAIT what if

what if it actually captures emotions of those who hold it? Someone who is angry will pick it up, and they will feel the anger being drained from them and they're left feeling content or placid. Same with sadness, happiness, etc. Not to make them feel sad or depressed from it, but just... content, not strongly one way or another. And maybe the stone holds onto these emotions for some time, before fading to black once left alone long enough. Maybe this is too complicated for a fel essence, but it sounded cool in my head. |DDD

So someone would eventually catch on like huh I was so stressed out before I tried on this mood ring or whatever but now I feel great and that could eventually lead to Kyou or whoever is finding these gizmos atm stumbling upon it in a store after hearing some buzz about the "feel good stone" lololol and BAM FEL ESSENCE

ON THE FLIP SIDE HOWEVER, if you want it to reflect the emotions of people who are simply near it, maybe give it a radius of a couple feet and have it do the constant shifting thing, that would definitely make it stand out against other mood stones, too. Whoever sold it to the store (assuming it were to be found in a store) would think it was just a mood stone that was catching light in a pretty way, but the people around it who were close enough would feel their more extreme emotions ("extreme" being anything above contentedness) being sapped, but they wouldn't know why.

To make it different from Ekundayo, who feeds off of emotions and I think just drains the people of it, maybe the raevan will capture their emotions to feed and then display said emotions? Like someone is angry and yelling so the raevan sucks the anger out of them, is full, but is then angry for a little while until the extreme emotion wears off.

As for the souls, STILL LOVE THE POODLE MOTH and really wanna see it. Maybe Mood Stone + Poodle Moth, a fluffy raevan who feeds off of others' emotions (I feel like Ekundayo does this, too, so if that is a problem then I'm soooo sorry fejfjnjfk I don't know how different feeding has to be from one raevan to another!). Can you imagine, that raevan could be SUCH A BRAT omg. The potential.
