The corner of Z'fer's mouth twitched back as he waited out the two goldriders exuberant reunion. If their party was larger, or if they didn't already all know each other he might have disapproved but so far the only thing suspicious was the third member of Natai's party who so far had said nothing. Z'fer watched out of the edge of his vision but made no mention of or motion towards the young man.
The table was nicely arranged and there was no small amount of appreciation for the rough elegance of it. His only complaint so far was being so exposed outside on the mountainside. It made the back of his neck crawl. He took a seat at Narisa's left as Kleos occupied her right. He'd little to add to the real nitty gritty of negotiations personally. He was here as witness and bodyguard. In his bag though he did have a small sheaf of papers. Just for taking some personal notes an impressions to add to the official account. He was no harper trained scribe but he had a fair enough hand and a new respect for organized notes since becoming a Wingleader.
Calanoth settled his bulk down comfortably, eyes following Moriath's ascent before returning to the ladies around him. Couldn't be lovelier. I am glad to know our respective homes are looking to work together rather than against one another. He replied amiably to Berath.
At a distance Z'fer's trio of flits found perches in the sun around the clearing. Forbidden from the table (what a disaster tiny undisciplined claws would be!) and Z'fer's person the group stuck together for company, keeping a low profile away from the full fair belonging to the Masterhealer.

Natai smiled back to Narisa, expression bright with happiness. "I don't mind in the least. They all really ought to have been expecting us to be silly, don't you think?" Natai's brother snorted at the idea of her silliness. Natai ignored him.
"This is my brother, Ronni. He's here to be the life of the party, of course." Natai said somewhat belatedly. Ronni grinned, raised his hand, and settled down in his own chair. Natai settled into the indicated seat and glanced over to the pot of ink with a brush of wistfulness. Long fingers settled on the tabletop, away from ink and pen, and Natai smiled.
"Perhaps it is best to start at the beginning and work our way up from there?" Natai pulled out a folded map from her bag and set it on the table, unopened. "Territory acknowledgement and lines of it with the different types of holds taken into consideration? Negotiation of peace is wonderful. It's also perhaps not the easiest to execute when there is no set land to negotiate about."
Iachixth settled in comfortably to where she'd been parked, humming idly as the humans began their talk.

Bereck nodded agreement to Natai and started to write in shorthand on the sheet of parchment before him, nudging his small round spectacles up his nose slightly with the first finger of his free hand as he scribbled. With his glasses adjusted he reached out into empty air without looking up from his work, only to catch four smooth flat white stones that arrived via a flash of silver that disappeared again as suddenly as it had appeared. Still writing he placed the stones on the table and pushed them over to Natai.
"For the corners of the map," he said after a moment, now at last looking up at the others over the rims of his glasses.

Narisa gave a light chuckle in agreement. "Fair point!" She smiled, giving Kleos and Z'fer a nod as each sat down. And a wave to Natai's brother as he was introduced. "Pleasure to meet you, Ronni."
"I agree with this. It might be easiest for all of us that way." She said appreciatively. And then cleared her throat, gathering her thoughts carefully. "Perhaps we should start with acknowledging territory? For I believe that this might be a bit of an issue for both of us currently. I know Trine could use with a small expansion... " What with the single Weyr now housing three in one? "Since we all already know Trine's territory, might I ask for your proposal of Euclid's? And we can work off of that?" Narisa asked after a minute. She had to be honest, she had no idea where Natai had found to begin the new Weyrhold. Though word had reached her and given her a general idea. Just not enough to be confident.
"While on that subject, how is the population of Euclid? I've heard you're starting to get a flow of people, dragons, and whers, on to your doorstep as well." She gave her friend a knowing smile. They both could at least understand the lack of housing issue.
