Avoiding her blows this time was accomplished, but not in any particularly graceful way. Mostly, he just had good reactions and a deep desire not to get hit again. By the time she stopped to praise him, he felt almost winded and sweat trickled down the back of his neck. So much for that shower... A grin still curved over his face and he swept her a wide, theatrical bow.
