Claude didn't have any questions, only grievances, but Lex was her brother, and she'd do it, because it was a sibling thing. Though she didn't have any questions, she did have some words. Like silently mouthing '******** off, dad' to Lex at the look he gave about Chance. Like "Good to see you too, Mad Eye Moody" to Finn, and then an incredulous look at Oliver, followed by a " How old are you, eleven?" Also accompanied by the thought that he must be here to sell cookies with the girl scout troop she'd run into earlier. Nods for everyone else as she signed her name on the line.

"I'm seventeen!" Oliver hissed back, blushing. He was pretty sure the island didn't recruit children, yet he had enough people mistake him for one since he had woken up. Did he really look that childish? As the meeting was wrapped up, Oliver wasn't entirely sure he liked the plan. Nor did he have confidence in himself, if there was a weak point on the team it was definitely going to be him. But Lex had approached him personally, probably in need of more 'students', and the boy was determined to at least try. He could be weeded out later if necessary. He pulled a pen out of a pocket without thinking, and signed his name next.

Oliver wilted under that look. Literally under. Then he looked around, his eyes finally settling on one person who might have seen his medical file. Lex was suddenly the recipient of a pleading stare. Lucyal Oliver needs that every now and again. XD

There was no sense of professionalism at all from Stormy who, despite getting just a half-assed one-armed hug, took it with the same enthusiasm she had as she stole her scone back from Gale. A month-long mission didn't sound bad at all if it was just in and out, and it'd be nice to just be around normal people...though she did feel bad using the term. "This is gonna be so fun you guys," she whispered as she wrote her name down.
The apparent moral implications didn't disturb her as much as they might have in the past. It certainly didn't bother Jack, who deigned not to give Lex's accusation the merit of a response as he signed his name and sipped his coffee placidly. "Feels like Hollywood: people clearly not in high school passing off as students," he noted with a wry smile. "Fun s**t."

There was at least one other person who had seen Oliver's medical records who might have been willing to help the younger man out. If he really cared to. It was actually funnier to see Claude give him a hard time, though. "I'm in." He shrugged, not really caring much about the moral implications. He signed up and gave Ripley a look before nudging him with his elbow and leaning in to whisper. "I can wear that outfit I got back during our days off together." Wink wink, nudge nudge, smirk, smirk. ---------- Lydia, on the other hand, took a long moment to ponder, while one hand distractedly went to rest on Oliver's shoulder, giving it a light squeeze. It certainly seemed like the type of experiment she would be on board with, but at the same time, she wasn't sure if she was meant to be more concerned over the children that would be involved. Was this going to make her look like a horrible person? What would Arorangi think of all of this? He'd probably be against it, she decided, rather grimly. But that didn't mean she should miss out on all of the fun, either! With a bright smile, she traipsed on over to Lex and signed her name as well.

Chance just gave Lex a winning smile and let his arm on Claude's shoulder.
Gale was still eating his scone, but he was definitely still interested because this was Deus, where the points were made up and the timelines didn't matter right.carhop cavalier both of them r good 2 go IT'S A TIRED POST

Ripley had listened in, but he hadn't said much past his initial comments. He had already done the 'transfer in, play a role' part, and it had worked out great in the beginning, but worse near the end. While he had his issues with what was being done, he felt an odd need to stick with it, to at least be there to be able to say what seemed normal and what seemed off. After all, he had seen kids under the influence of FEAR candies, but who knew if they were the candies that were mass produced, or if they were more custom. He had a small frame of reference, and was willing to set aside everything else for it.
Yet he also watched who was signing up first, but before he went to add his name to the list, Finn had leaned over to whisper to him. Oh, he knew what outfit was being put in the spotlight, and while he vastly approved, his expression never changed. It was as if Finn had leaned over to whisper about the weather, and not a small incentive to go along with a plan he was already willing to back.
He moved to sign his name, and after he returned to his initial position near Finn, he muttered a soft 'You better' under his breath.
