"That tends to be a common theme with mothers, mine is pretty unstoppable too, especially when she had that hammer of hers in hand. Quite the terrifying sight to behold and not someone that you want mad at you... though I admit I am pretty good at ruffling her feathers too. She isn't too much of a fan of my pets so any time I show up at home with a new one... well, you might be able to imagine." He made the sternest face he could conjure up then said, "Something like and she goes 'Aysun, you brought another one home?' in a tsking tone of voice." He laughed a bit then, knowing full well that she was probably just looking after him, "It's why I kind of like staying with my father instead, he doesn't seem to mind all the pets so long as I take care of them and make sure they are well fed and content."
"I agree with you on that one, I want to get out there and find new things myself. It will be a lot of fun! I might even bring my grumpy butt of a twin along with me if I thought that he would help out or at least take notes on the creatures I find. He's good with books so maybe he will be good with taking notes too."
Tilting his head, as though thinking on it, he said, "Far too long! I am still not as grown up as I wish I was. I feel that if I were bigger, stronger, maybe had a weapon and a rank, then maybe I might be taken more seriously. As it is a lot of people just tent to think I am crazy cause of the 'army' I have following me around." He motioned to his pets before giving a shrug, "Once I am more grown up though I will be sure to keep an eye out for cool animals, anything I find I can bring to meet you if you like?"

Seze was a bit taken aback. "Your mother has a hammer? That is really really cool, my ma had a big bow that I can't string or pull very far no matter how hard I try. Then there is Dad's lance which I can't lift sadly. Otherwise I would totally drag it off for a better look. I don't know how Dad carries that sucker everywhere I really don't at least the bow is almost light! What does your Dad have? Does he have a hammer too or is he a beast tamer? I think I would like to be a Beast person one day, do you think I could pull it off?" She grinned and pointed at an unimpressed Thorvin.
"Well fed. Do they eat alot? Do you have special diets for them? Thorvin and Skava mostly hunt for themselves but I sneak Thor treats that is why I'm closer to him then Daddy is to his. Poor Daddy he just can't figure it out, the secret is fat, they like the fatty bits and gristle that is just blegh."
"I wonder if Kres would follow me if I went...I don't suppose your brother would bring some pictures back? I love pictures of critters. Oh he could write a book about them I would trade my whole stash of shinies for it!"
"Well if you are not grown up, its going to take FOREVER for me too." she flopped on the ground onto her back dramatically. Or it would have been if Thorvin hadn't tried to sit on her like a King claiming his castle, evil brat. "I don't think your crazy at all!" Came her radaku muffled reply, "I think everyone else is crazy who don't have pets, clearly they were not raised properly."
His words sank in and her head popped up off the ground, her radaku shoved uncerimoniously off of her person. "Really?! You, you would bring me something back? I don't, gah! What can I give you in return? I can get Daddy to find you a radaku? I think he knows a Beast Charmer person some icling he mutters about occasionally. Want to trade? I want something pretty and predatory with big teeth! But not another radaku obviously..you would want to have one for yourself and I wouldn't bereave you of their...charm." She glanced at Thorvin who had Yoga'd his body into a knot so he could scratch at an ear. "Such as it is. Thorvin behave!"

"My father? His weapon, well sort of weapon... it's more half weapon and half shell really, is this giant shield that weighs more then my brother and I combined. Maybe even more then both of us and our mother, I have no idea how he can carry it around all day or how he can swing it about as though it weighs nothing! It's pretty crazy. It's the perfect weapon for him though, he seems to love to protect people." He was impressed by the fact that his father was able to keep up with the best warriors out there when he had a weapon that wasn't exactly a weapon. It was strange, but amazing.
"Beast person?" He gave her a thoughtful look, then nodded, "I bet you could do it. It takes a certain something that not everyone has, the ability to see animals as more then just food or pets, but as friends instead. I bet you could do it." Giving a chuckle at her next question he nodded, "Yeah, they can eat quite a bit, and it's up to me to make sure that they are well fed and don't get into anything that isn't meant for them. Flower, my sprite, he's no so bad about it but Sunshine and Kapila, if there is something sweet left out like fruit they will go for it. Mother is never happy when they get into things."
Giving a thoughtful sound he said, "Bring back some pictures? Hmm... I wonder, I can always ask him about it. Maybe he could sketch pictures of what we find as well as take notes. If he can I see no reason why we can make you a copy of the book." If it meant helping someone, who like Aysun, wanted to become friends with the beasts of the world, then he was more then happy to help. Best that she knew that she had an ally in such matters, especially when she was so kind as to tell him that he wasn't crazy. Sure, he knew he might appear to some as though he were a little off kilter, but he didn't mind so much. He had his family and his 'animal army' so he was happy.
"Hm? Oh! Yes, of course. I mean if I am out there meeting all sorts of new beasts and I don't mind bringing you some of them to raise." He said, then laughed at her request, "Something with big teeth, huh? I will see what I can do. As for a radaku in exchange... well, if you could swing it that would be great, if not then just knowing that you are taking care of the creatures I bring back to you is more then enough for me." Glancing toward the radaku as the girl scolded him he couldn't help but to laugh, finding his antics rather cute, then again he thought all beasts were cute no matter what they were and what they were doing.

"He must be crazy strong to lift that, I don't understand how he can, it probably weighs more then he does." She giggled a little bit. "Thank you for believing in me, I had thought about the other things but I really like the Beast Charmer idea. I would love a copy of that book if your brother agrees to do it, It would be a most prized possesion well besides my familiars of course but as you said they are more friends then possessions. I'll need to save up for it of course but it will be so worth it!" She bounced up and down on the spot." "Ohohoh I would love that so much! I will talk to Daddy maybe he can find one himself and get Ki...whatever his name was on it too." She skipped in place.

Aysun nodded his head, "He really is. I'd love to see him and mom duel sometime, Chandra and I have always been curious who would win between the two of them since their styles are so different. Giant hammer versus giant shield! It would be interesting." He said, chuckling at the mere thought of seeing the two of them duking it out over the title of 'strongest parent' though he wasn't sure if they would be able to get them to duel in such a manner. With the war having ended only ended recently he couldn't see either of them wanting to fight again so soon, even if it were just a duel. His smile brightened as Aysun said, "Well it's a path that is hard for some to understand, those of us who want to work with animals, we need to stick together, share trade secrets, and help each other get stronger. It's not like any old swordsman could understand what it is we deal with after all." It was important that they cheer each other on if you asked him. He'd be here for her, as well as anyone else who wanted to chat with him about such things, "I will be sure to chat with him about the book, I am sure if I poke at him enough about it that he might do it." So long as he was bothersome enough he might be able to get him to help write the book. "Seems that we both have our missions, huh? You with your dad, me with Chandra, we will get it figured out!" He said, looking forward to what they were plotting, and hoped their families would help them out.

"If they ever battle could I watch? It sounds really interesting, I've never seen anyone fight with just a shield before. I expect he could just lay it on top of your mom and imobilize her hopefully she is faster then he is." She giggled. "I agree! I can't wait until we get some more experience with the critters!" She danced on the spot. A deep voice trickled over on the wind "Sezarra!" "Welp I think dad just found me, he will want to bundle me off home for dinner I'm sure." Sezarra raced over and hugged Aysun. "I'll catch ya later, I'll be sure to tell papa and get him on his task for you, he will probably be happy to have something to do besides chase after me, of course if he takes me with him he wouldn't have to worry would he?" She smirked with her plotting face on. "Bye Aysun!" Then she scrambled off with her radaku gamboling after whacking her ankles while she scolded him.
