OOC: When Nana went upstairs, Razenth released a breath he didn't know he was holding. He picked up his book titled, The Count of Monte Cristo and tried to pick up where he left off, but he couldn't focus. It wasn't because there was a girl in the house, he has had women in here before that was strictly platonic. No, there had to be another reason for him to be uneasy. He laid the book down and stood up to walk into the kitchen. He walked around the island and went towards the sink and opened the cabinet to the right of it so he could fetch a cup. He took his favourite cup out and shut the cabinet door before walking over to the refrigerator. He opened the door and looked inside and hoped to find something he liked. He sighed and closed the door to the fridge and walked to the stove and turned the kettle on. He placed his cup on the island and walked out. As he waited for the water to heat up, Razenth sat back down on the couch and picked up his book again. Being the speed reader that he was, he was through several chapters before the kettle sounded. Placing the book face down on the couch, he got up and went into the kitchen once more. He looked at his cup and thought about Nana. Instead of getting his cup, he went and turned the kettle off and walked over to the cabinet to grab another cup. He sat it down next to his and grabbed the kettle. He poured the water in both cups then placed it back on the stove. In his cup he made tea and in the other he made hot cocoa. He hesitated to make it how he usually does since he still knew next to nothing about her. Guess you won't know until you find out, he thought. He decided to fix it up and put cinnamon, vanilla extract, nutmeg, and brown sugar in it and fixed his tea nearly the same way. He walked over to a a cabinet next to the fridge and took out a box of Famous Amos and sat it on the counter. He reached down to the cabinet below him and took out a tray and sat the box of cookies on it before walking over to the cup with the cocoa and putting it on there. He sighed and said, " I hope she likes cookies and cocoa." Razenth took a piece of paper and a pen out of the drawer in the island and wrote " I hope you enjoy cookies and cocoa. I'm sorry for being rude to you before, I just don't know how to receive a new person into my home very well. Other than than, I do hope we enjoy each other's company while we stay here." He place the pen back in the drawer, closed it and put the note on the tray along with everything else he was bringing up to her room. Razenth carried the tray out of the kitchen and up the stairs and as he neared the top, he heard running water coming from one of the bathrooms. He walked down the hall and heard it coming from her's and assumed she was in there also, so he was just going to leave the tray outside her bedroom door and hope she didn't step on it. Before he left the tray outside her room, he rapt on the door and listened. He didn't hear any movement so he just left it in front of her door and went downstairs and back to the kitchen to fetch his cup. Coming out of the kitchen with his cup in hand, he went back to the couch where his book was waiting for him and sat down. Placing the cup on the floor next to him, he picked up his book and began reading once again.

Having finished her bath, Nana left the tub with the drain open for the water to sink. She wrapped the towel around her torso and she was satisfied that the length reached to nearly just an inch above her knees. Turning off the light switch, she left the bathroom with the door still open. She thought she heard a rapping sound in her room while she was in the tub. So she went to her door, unlocked it before pulling it open. Seeing no one at eye level, her eyes dropped to the floor where she found the tray of cookies and cocoa. At first, she blinked then turned her head left and right. Seeing no one, she stepped on the doorway and knelt til she could pick up the tray bit both hands. The towel didn't give her much comfort though as it rose slightly too high for her liking. Once she had the tray in her hands, she stood up straight and walked back in, gently closing the door with her foot. She placed the tray on the bedside table and picked up the mug for a quick sip. Once the hot liquid reached her tongue, she winced yet not so much to spill the drink. "Damn. That hurt." She frowned, annoyed that she once again forgot to check the temperature with the tip of her tongue first before drinking anything hot. Despite the slight burn, she could feel the soreness fading as her cells quickly repaired the damage. She would often forget that her skin had less awareness of temperature due to the fact that her skin is resistant to tanning and burning. Placing the mug back on the tray, she picked up a cookie to eat. She felt satisfied for the sweet treat although she thought the drink was way too sweet to be combined with another sweet delight. She wouldn't complain though. At least not at the moment.
Nana pulled the towel off then dabbed it along her body before wrapping it around the length of her untied hair before twisting it back in place. Reaching for the garments on her bed, she dressed up piece by piece. Once she deemed herself decently clothed, she unwrapped the towel on her head and started drying her hair with it. She picked up the mug again and drank the slightly less burning liquid. Once her hair seemed dry enough for her, she combed it with the comb she found in the dresser. She placed the mug back on the tray, which she was able to balance on one hand when she opened the door. Slipping out with a soft click of the door closing, she headed to the living room with her footsteps muffled by the sound of the slippers she chose.
Once she got into the living room, she found Razenth reading like he said he would. She caught his attention when sat on the chair opposite him and placed the tray on her lap. The tray still had enough heat on it that a normal human may be bothered with when its on their lap but Nana did not feel any discomfort. Clasping both hands on each side of her mug, she took a quick sip before she looked at Razenth. 'It's awkward enough even of you don't look at me.' "So, would it be alright if i asked what i'm suppose to be doing?" She would have added the words 'as a pet' but her pride would not let her. So she left the sentence as she left it yet she wondered if it made any sense to him at all. She used a hand to comb her still rather wet hair back so that it won't drip water on the plate of cookies. She would often fashion her long hair in a ponytail but for the moment as it has yet to dry, she would deal with it being untied.

There was a loud knock through out the cave, or well, house and it was a Delivery man. There was a cage with a boy inside that was scared and quiet. He had blond hair and a Fedora hat that covered most of his face since he was cold. He tried to think happy thoughts, but looking around there was nothing but snow and mountains, he had no idea where he was and who was about to see. Clement stayed silent while the Delivery man was waiting and looked annoyed and tired.

OOC:Razenth noticed that she came down the stairs and sat across from him, but he assumed she didn't want to talk so he kept reading. As he was turning a page, she spoke and he quickly glanced at the page number then put the book down beside him. Taking her in, he noticed she had her hair down and thought that she looked better with it down. " Yes, well... From what I gathered, Pets are supposed to take care of their Masters. I do not understand that concept since Pets are people too, so using my logic, you can do what ever you please." Hearing a knock at the door, he stood up and said, " Excuse me," bowed slightly, and left to answer the door. Razenth opened the door and smiled as he saw the newest addition to his newfound family. He signed the paperwork on the clipboard and handed the Delivery man the money as the key to the blonde boy named Clement's cage. He opened it and reached into the cage and grabbed the boy as gently as he could to pull him out. When the boy was out of the cage, he wrapped his arm around him, knowing Clement was cold. Razenth said his thanks to the Delivery man and took him into the house and shut the door behind them. He walked them into the living room where Nana was waiting for him and said to her, " This is Clement, he is a part of our family now. I do hope all of us will get along together."

If we're talking about protection, you're definitely more capable. "Alright." Nana just said. She truly wasn't expecting to be so free as he made her feel. He's giving her full reign on anything she wants as well as food and shelter. I guess it's better than living alone.
Her head spun to the direction of a knock on a door. It came from the front door. Nana just nodded when he excused himself. She sipped her drink as she gazed into the fireplace, the flame entrancing her.
When Razenth came back with a young man in tow, she first thought that it could be a guest. Razenth introduced the young man as Clement and that he would be living with them. She observed him for a moment, noticing the rather scared expression and body language. From the pet shop? Her eyes widened for a moment when she thought of it. The poor guy must be scared. Unlike Nana, who had the liberty of meeting Razenth first before being purchased, this boy must have been brought here without any knowledge of what was waiting for him.
Nana stood up slowly, hoping not to frighten him. She knows she can be rather scary as people would often comment on her eyes which were sharp and gleaming with an odd purple color. It's not her intention to look that way but she simply didn't know how to change that aspect of her. All her life, she's only had scientists as visitors and other specimens as companions. She decided not to approach them as he looked spooked enough. Nana smiled and waved to him. "Hi, Clement. My name is Nana. Ugh... a pet too." She had to laugh weakly at the last part since it still unnerved her being labeled as such. She took the plate of cookies from her tray on the sofa and offered it to him. "Want a cookie?"

OOC:Razenth let Clement go and walked over to where he was sitting before. He didn't want to pressure him since he was new to the house and he also wanted Nana and him to get along also. Technically it's her first day at the house also. This is all so new to me, he thought. He noticed Nana trying to open up by offering the cookies and he smiled to himself, then gestured to Clement to sit down on one of the chairs near Nana or himself. Razenth remember he needs to be shown his room and bathroom. " Once introductions are over, I can show you to your room and bathroom, if that's what you want, Clement."

Once Clement accepted the plate, Nana smiled at him, pulled back and sat back on her seat, mimicking Razenth in letting Clement decide where to sit. She reached for her drink and sipped the warm sweet liquid. She looked at Razenth. "Thanks for this, by the way."
She looked back at Clement. Remembering her wet hair, she spoke. "I just took a bath. If you're going to your room, i recommend you take one as well. It's very relaxing." Smiling, she wasn't sure if he had the same kind of bathroom she had but chances were it might have a bath tub too.

OOC:Razenth looked at Nana and smiled, " You're welcome. I wanted to ask you if you liked sweets, but I didn't get a chance to for the simple fact I wanted you to get comfortable with the house." He leaned forward and rested his forearms on his knees and looked at Clement. " Before you get settled down here, I can show you to your room and bathroom, so you know where they are. And afterwards I can show you the rest of the house."
