Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?" Emili smiled kindly. "Anyway, ready to go? I really wan you to meet Christina. She's really nice." Hopefully the neko girl didn't suspect anything was going on. Really, there wasn't that much going on, but just in general, most shy girls always suspect something, as her recourses had shown. "Or would you like to meet the man of the house?" Mr. Okuron was much easier to get along with. Besides, Christina was always going on these weird mood swings.

 Kali returned the girl's smile shyly. She nodded when Emili asked if she was ready to go. "Is Christina a neko, or a human?" she asked. She was genuinely curious about the mansion's other inhabitants. "Can I meet the man of the house later?" she asked. "I'm a bit hungry."

But really, she's not that either. Do you know what a telepath is?" She cocked her head to the side, questioning to herself if the neko knew any other species other then neko and human.

Kali couldn't help smiling at Emili's remark. Her ears twitched curiously when she heard the word "telepath," and she shook her head at the girl's question. "What is that?" she asked.

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?"Emili thought for a moment to try and figure out how to explain this. Usually, when someone would think of telepath, she would think, 'mind reader.' But that wasn't the case for Christina. "Well, a telepath is a kind of a human, but
can do some really cool things with their mind. Usually telepath's read minds,
but that's not exactly the case for Christina. What she can do, is she can heal
people, and she says she can go into her own 'dreamland-ish' type place. Ya
know, where she is invincible and stuff." She hoped she was making sense to the lower-minded neko she was talking to. "Is this making any sense at
all? I know I can ramble on a bit sometimes..."

Kali listened with curiosity as Emili explained what a telepath was. So Christina could heal with her mind? Kali had never come across someone who could do that before. Nor had she come across someone who could go into their own dreamland. It might be interesting to see what this Christina was like. She nodded when Emili asked if it was making any sense. "Yes, I understand it better now, thanks," she said.

go into her own dreamland. And because of the 'other world' that she can go
into, she is usually asleep most of the day. But when she's awake, she can
usually come off as a little weird. She has frequent mood swings. But once
you get to know her, she's really nice." She grabbed Kali's hand kindly. "Anyway, let's go meet her, shall we?"

Kali listened quietly as Emili explained that most of the mansion didn't believe in Christina's abilities. She was curious as to what the other girl was like, and she wanted to meet her. She didn't pull her hand away when Emili grabbed it, knowing the girl wouldn't hurt her. "Yes, please," she said. "I'm curious to know what she's like."

Emili Howser"Why be sad when you can be happy?""Mk!" Emili happily skipped along, guiding Kali all the way to Christina's room. With twists and turns through strange hallways, they finally got there. Of course, not to her surprise, Christina was sleeping. But what was strange, was there was a fairy sleeping next to her. Emili walked around to the other side of the bed, and shook Christina's shoulder lightly. Christina sat up slowly, rubbing her eyes, her hair in a knotted mess. "Whu-
wha? Oh, hi." She mumbled tiredly. "Hey, I just wanted to introduce you to
the new slave." Emili mumbled softly, with her hands behind her back. Christina gave a kind smile. "Oh, hi."

Kali couldn't help but smile at Emili's cheerful attitude. The girl seemed genuinely happy, and Kali liked that. She followed Emili to Christina's room, pausing as she saw a fairy sleeping next to the girl. When Emili shook Christina, the other girl sat up and spoke tiredly. Kali returned Christina's smile shyly when the telepath said hello. "Hello," she said quietly. "I'm Kali."

call me whatever you want." She yawned, not knowing that Emili had already talked about her. Christina looked at the fairy. She couldn't help but feel that she might be scared in her world, but she put the thought of it off her mind for now. Ellie, her fairy friend, was safe with Chief, right?

Kali nodded at Christina's statement. "Would you mind if I call you Chrissy?" she asked. "It would be easier for me to remember that way." She could tell that she was going to get along well with the telepath.

sounds nice." But she sure wasn't making it obvious that she didn't mind. She had to be honest with herself, it was quite a strange nickname. "You
have a pretty name. What's the story behind it? How did your mom or dad
decide to give you that name? Do you know?"

Kali blushed lightly at Christina's compliment about her name. "Thank you," she said. "My grandmother on my mother's side was named Katherine, and my grandmother on my father's side was named Lianne, so they combined the first syllable of each name. That's why I'm named Kali."

Although she did not look like she had a care in the world for the subject at hand, she really did care, she was just tired. That was all. The thought came to her mind about her fairy friend again. She turned her attention to Emili. "So, can I go to the village now? My friend is probably
scared right now. You know, since it's a whole new environment 'n all." She asked. Emili looked at the neko. "What do you think? Do you wanna talk to
her some more? Or should we just let her sleep, and go meet Mr. Okuron
instead?" Emili asked.
