Haruhi startled and nearly fell out of his chair, flailing all the way until he regained his balance. He turned in his chair and slowly stood up, his hand rested on his Kyodai Sensu. "Oh. Hello there Sensei. I know I should have been on time but my.... Family wanted to suddenly have a little chat. Turns out it wasn't so little." He bowed toward the Sensei. "I'm not exactly one hundred percent sure whose squad I'm on. In truth I was just too excited to be a Genin to pay attention to whom I was supposed to meet. I just remember that I needed to come to this room." He smirked as he eyed his Sensei up and down. "Care for a little bit of practicing Sensei-san?~" He knew asking a teacher to spar would not exactly be the smartest idea, but after his family's news he just had to move. His body screamed to be in action. "You could consider this helping me to make sure I haven't forgotten anything." Haruhi bowed low, sweeping his left arm wide before bending. His right rand tense on his favorite weapon.

Looks like our only puppeteer of this group is paired with you, and... someone who's name I have never seen... Must be another class or a satellite academy.

Haruhi smirked, nodding towards the sensei. "I would love to spar. I feel like I'm not as good as I should be... Not with my families genes and everything. He took his Kyodai and pivoted his body so it bounce off the ground and up onto his shoulder before he twisted, the large fan unfolding and blocking most of the view of his body. He narrowed his eyes at the sensei. "Whenever you're ready sensei. I'm curious though. Who are the two I am partnered with, what is his name.... or her? I hope it's a girl. Maybe it'll be a boy and a girl. Well in that case, what are THEIR names and are they a boy and a girl? Both boys? . . . Both girls?" His eyes shined with a mischievous quality as he thought about being on a team with two girls. He'd be pretty happy if that happened, but knowing his luck he'd be paired up with two boys. He sighed before he twisted and spun the fan around him, hiding his body from sight. He couldn't help but love the way the fan worked around him and shifted sight lines.

Mokujin throws a pellet on the ground and weaves a few quick hand seals.
Mokuton: Kugutsutane no Jutsu !
Instantly, the pellet grows and sprouts limbs that quickly form an ugly, badly damaged puppet, clearly severely beaten down.

He watched the pellet roll, curious if it was a ploy. He had heard movement when suddenly the pellet had transformed into a full puppet. He'd heard of this jutsu and even seen it once or twice but it still amazed him. He shifted his stance, the unfolded fan behind him like a peacocks tail fully spread. His body was crouched low, his one hand positioned on the ground to stabilize his balance. He was ready, or so he thought, for anything. He heard his sensei speak and replied. "I'll do my best Sensei!"

Oh oh! That's a dangerous looking weapon Haruhi-kun! Let's see if you can use it efficiently!
It barely takes a twitch of Mokujin's little finger for the puppet to start moving. The beaten up puppet takes a few steps, and then starts gliding while spinning onto itself. In one fluid motion, it uses its momentum to send its fist straight towards Haruhi's stomach.

He his mid stride towards the puppet by the time he realized. He had took the hit and slid back a foot from the impact, trying not to throw up. He wiped his mouth and smirked. He knew this wasn't going to be easy, but he had at least expected himself to dodge that attack. He shook his head to clear his thoughts as he charged back into the fight. He spun with his fan before bringing it to an overhead position. He would attempt to bring the fan straight down on the puppet, allowing the impact of the first edge and the force of it to bring down the other end of it for a little more impact.
