His head tilted subtly to one side as the conversation redirected back towards divisions. "As I know it, you've only got two real choices to pick from in your current division. Defense, or medical." Or, of course, a combination of both, as was the case with Finn.

"Why science?" It seemed an odd question to him. Broad shoulders came up in a small shrug. "I enjoy it. Before Deus I was studying to become a marine biologist. If I could apply that sort of a major here that would be ideal." He didn't regret his choice to sign up, but it did make the last few years seem a little wasteful given all that study and school work were going unused.
