Of all the manly things her mother prepared her, Avery never expected this. The brooding male sat in the corner of the pen, her head back against the wall as a sigh escaped her lips. Great. Just fantastic. In one way, she got away from her b***h of a mother, but in turn...she was still labeled at a boy. Her hair was so cropped short and her winter military uniform showed her forced, flat chest. No signs of womanhood there.
They asked him for skills? Well, she could kill a man twice her size in half the time it took for one to approach her. Was that a skill? She was a marksmen. A sharpshooter and combat specialist. Other than that...she didn't know what skills that petshop owner wanted from her. Or him, she thought. Avery. Not Avery Rose. No one knew Avery Rose. Just Avery. There were times, the slender boyish female walked around. He was tired of sitting all day. It was exhausting.

~Solo~ ~The Submissive Protector~  As you wish, Mistress......Solo tilted his head as if confused when his new owner asked him to simply call her by her name. He wasn't use to that, all of his life using a proper title. She also asked him to be a little less formal. Another abnormality for him. However, it was her wish so he had to obey. He nodded to her before letting her lead him out of this place, hopefully leaving it behind forever. [Exits] No harm shall come to you My Lady.

~Zero Mitaki~ ~Demon Slayer~  I'm a fighter, not a lover.......Once again, the bell to the door of the shop would ring throughout the air as a new customer came in. The newcomer was a young man, his cell phone to his ear as he waltzed in casually. "Yes...... Well I'm glad you enjoyed my work...... Yes, I expect payment by the end of the week..... Great, thank you for your business Ma'am...... Of course, you are most welcome...... Goodbye." The dark gentleman would slip his phone into his jacket pocket as he hung up, his orange eyes now scanning the pet shop. He has never been to such a place so he felt a little lost. but it was no different than a normal pet shop right? Pick out your favorite animal then take it home and take care of it....... Just more complex. The man would make his way through the store. Cage after cage, he would look over his choices. So many to choose from. The races here were very diverse and each one seemed to have their own special personality. That was good in his book. More to choose from in the end. After a few minutes of searching though, he would suddenly stop at a cage, his glowing eyes peering inside. The pet of his choice was a neko with bright pink hair, he presence simply emanating a loving and fun aura. She certainly was a looker too, every curve very noticeable in his eyes. However, he wouldn't just look for someone fun to 'play' with. He needed a pet who was loyal and obedient. For her own sake of course. He would walk up closer to the cage before lightly grasping one of the bars and getting a better look at the young neko. He paid her a soft smile, his voice warm and inviting. "Hello there my dear. What is your name?"...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose glances around some and looks down as the new man walks over to her. She figured he would continue on but she slowly looks up at him when he stopped. Her blue eyes seem to make contact with him and she looks away. She feels even more nervous and her heart pounds against her chest. When he speaks to her she looks up at him then around some, but who else could he be talking to? "H...Hello...I-I'm...R...Rose..." She says with a stutter and carefully gets up, straighten her cloths some. She gives a polite bow though she hits her head on the bars, she pauses for a moment. She stands up straight slowly and rubs her forehead some, it's turning a bit red from the hit. Her face turns a light pink to match her hait due to the embarrassment of hitting he head on the bars.

~Zero Mitaki~ ~Demon Slayer~ I'm a fighter, not a lover.......Zero let out a light laugh as the neko girl attempted to introduce herself properly. She was a bit clumsy to say the least. Her stuttering voice showed that she was very nervous as well. Perhaps he had read her wrong? She looks outgoing but seems very shy. Though in time, it may change. "Hello Rose. My name is Zero. Is your head okay? That looked awfully painful." Wanting to test her personality more, he would entertain himself with some small talk and kind words. Perhaps she would open up to him a bit more that way. He didn't wish to bring her home and be fearful of him all the time. Would defeat the purpose of having her as a pet. He continued to wear his friendly smile as he waited for her to regain her posture. ...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose took a deep breath as she tries to compose herself properly, keeping her head lowered as she was taught to do in the presence of her master. " I-It's a pleasure to meet you...And I'm fine, thank you..." She replies with a bit more confidence, thinking of what her mother would say or do in this sort of situation. She takes another deep breath as she controls her racing heart beat. After a moment or two she adds,"I'm sorry for my clumsiness...". He seemed kind and understanding which made her feel a bit more at comfort and at ease.

 Kali lay silently in her cage. The men her parents had sold her to had sent her here, hoping to get some good money out of her. Once they had reached this shop, they had thrown her in the cage and walked out laughing. The people who ran this shop had been somewhat kind to her, at least, they were kinder than the men who had brought her here. They had seen to the numerous cuts and bruises she'd received under the men's care, then left her alone, for which she was grateful. They couldn't do anything for the two broken ribs she had, however. Now she lay quietly in her cage, waiting until the day came that she could leave this place.

▌Attire: Grey racer-back fitted shirt and matching grey jazz pants
Nana left the bars alone to sit down at the center of her cage. Eyes darted here and there, watching, inspecting, observing. She wasn't given any idea what this place is and why she was brought here. All she knew is that she's been released by the lab and as soon as she was no longer considered a specimen, everything she's always lived for and lived with was taken away in an instant.
She sat on her heels as her legs folded beneath her, back straight and chin held high. She decided not to ask anyone present for she knew she was still under emotional stress and needed to calm down. Causing a riot would do no good when she is outnumbered and cage, as she always learned to be true from the experiments done to her. She kept an indifferent exterior for all to see while inside, she is burning with rage and a will to cause great damage to cease her boiling anger. She would simply love to break through her cage and storm out, escaping from this place she knew nothing about.
She saw a few oddities. Things, beings to be exact, that she's never seen before. Tails, ears and features that she knows she's only caught glimpses from Dr. Zeon's books in his office. She started to wonder what other oddities she's seen in Dr. Zeon's office are to be true. Annoyed that she had no leads to what was happening and what could happen, she only trusted her intuition, instinct and her senses.

As he observed before, she was a very pretty young lady. Well, neko. He was slightly surprised that she was in this cage, figuring that someone would have taken her within an instant of coming into the shop and seeing her. Though that was simply his opinion. Everyone has their tastes. He just seemed to be drawn more to the cute and innocent types. "Tell me, Rose, how long have you been inside of this shop? I'd be shocked if such a lovely neko such as yourself has had to stay here longer than a week or so." He carefully spoke this way, trying to test her reaction to compliments as well. Again, he was being picky so he didn't want a pet who was easy to offend. If she reacted well, perhaps Rose was the pet for him. ...... But that doesn't mean I can't fall for you.

Rose smiles a bit more as he told her she was fine, he seemed nice enough. She plays with her hair some as she felt slightly nervous with the silence. Her turned a rose color when she was called lovely, trying to think of the right answer to his question. "I'm quite shy and clumsy... So when people talk to me...I'm usually to shy to answer...or I make a fool of my self...People...Don't want a pet like that..." She replies as honestly as she possibly could, even if it meant losing a chance to have a nice home.

can operate, is called a slave." A young boy, maybe ten, was holding his mother's hand as he walked by the window and seemed to look straight at this cute neko. The bell rang as he ran in with a cheerful look on his face. "Mommy! Look! Pets! Everywhere!" He sang though only having this one in mind. "Hiiiiiiiiii!" He put his hands to the cage, still with the same, cherry look. "What's your name?!!!!" He happily waited the response, looking deep into the neko's eyes.

Kali looked up at the sound of a young voice. There was a young boy standing in front of her cage, his hands resting on the bars and a cheery smile on his face. She couldn't help smiling faintly at the look on his face. He seemed so happy, something she had never really known. "My name is Kali," she said, her voice quiet. She wasn't sure if this boy was just here to look, or if he was actually wanting to purchase her, although how he would do so was beyond her.

can operate, is called a slave."Noticing the sadness in Kali's voice, he gave her another smile. "Mommy mommy I want her!!!!" He raced over to his mother and tugged on her shirt. She looked at this neko and noticed the lack of productivity this neko could supply. "Her name is Kali." Michel pointed out. "Are you sure you want her? You already have Emili." By this point Michel was already pulling his mother to the register. "Yes." He had fierce assurance in his voice. "This is your decision." She turned her attention to the man behind the counter. "My son would love Kali, the neko over there." She pointed to the shy neko. The man just looked like her as if she where insane. "You crazy? Dat brat's nothin but trouble." With some arguing and persuasion the man let her buy the neko. "Pleasure doin business wit you." He gave her the keys to the cage, that where then handed to Michel. As soon as he received the keys, he eagerly dashed to the cage and opened the door. "Come out!" His smile was wider and more excited then ever.
