Noah smiled sheepishly. "I've been busy," he offered as an excuse. Still, the sandwich, once unwrapped, vanished in very short order indeed.

"Thank you, handsome." And small hands continued upward until she found his shoulders, inwards to trail the tips of fingers along the sides of his neck as he leaned in to brush lips against her hip. "I'm glad you like them."

"I figured," she commented, voice thick with amusement as she watched him devour the sandwich. "But you still need to eat." Which was why she was there.
She ran her fingers through his hair, pushed it back from his face, but that was the extent of the physical affection she'd give him while he was on the job, surrounded by his peers. "Can't let you starve, what kind of girlfriend would I be?"

TrilogiesShe gave his hand a squeeze, cuddling up all the closer to his side. And of course there were the occasions when she asked questions, because this was all new to her. "So when did Saruman turn bad? I thought he was Gandulf's mentor guy?"
