Zeke didn't answer at first, he wasn't sure how. The simple answer would probably have been yes, but the Mist wasn't in the habit of analyzing his feelings. Mostly because he didn't usually have stronge feelings regarding other people. Always before they had been a tool, a means to an end, disposable. Now it was different.
"It's rare," he finally said, thoughtfully. "Finding someone that's great in bed, that doesn't annoy the s**t out of you any other time." Fingertips trailed along her elbow.
"It's effortless." Which seemed an all encompassing answer. Spending time with Ever was easy. There weren't any awkward silences, even when neither of them were speaking. Zeke didn't even mind sharing a twin bed with the other man, despite how crowded the fit.
On a thoughtful hum he turned his head to lay a kiss against her brow. "He matters, and so do you. It's a very elite club, nigh impossible to join. Feel special." There was the slightest hint of a tease in his voice, but he was being sincere.
