What are Gaia's plans to convert the site to HTML5? Will current and future games and features be converted? You have already demonstrated that you can do great things with HTML5 smile I don't know if I'd say it has no future, there have been a few time it was said it was going to die and yet there it still is. It may just need to go through it's next evolution. To answer your question however, the way it will likely play out is any new features will use html 5 and the existing games will remain as they are in Flash. Alright. Thanks for answering. But will Fishing will be rewritten in Flash or HTML 5? We are mid a re-write for it in Flash. smile Narumi Misuhara Yeata Zi Features Would it be possible to set up an optional alert system for the Gaia blog? Make it like staff alerts, only blog alerts? The problem is the alerts bubble is a tad bit ....full. We need to completely redesign how the alerting system displays methinks before we go adding more of them.

But for now you can download one of the apps that helps you with that. I have one on my phone and it super helps and I've had incredibly vivid dreams and better sleep! I'm pretty sure you can get it for your computer too.

I do understand the need for ads on gaia to keep it running, and that if you buy gaia cash you're ad free for a month. However, sometimes I can't do that and so sometimes I have to deal with ads for a time, I can handle that. The thing is, I notice whenever I go to a page and one of those big video adds comes up, I will experience HEAVY lag if not the page freezing causing me to have to refresh the page. I have addressed this issue in bug reports before, and got no results. My question then is this. Can you please ask the sponsers, whose ads you show, to provide you with non-video based ads to help in preventing this lag/freeze issue. I know for a fact I'm not the only person experiencing this, I have numerous friends here on gaia that have been experiencing the same problem and are getting frustrated with it to a point of coming on less and less or not at all till I can convince them to return. I'm trying to help Gaia keep it's users, I would hope my efforts in this would be rewarded with this small request. If you run into any advertisements that are causing issues, please e-mail reportads@gaiaonline.com with any information you have and we'll see what we can do.

For the past few weeks, Gaia has not disabled third party ads as was promised through purchases of Gaia Cash and Gaia Cash items. The affected areas include Mailbox, Forums, et cetera. These are areas normally clear of third party ads, and I have purchased Gaia Cash and Cash Shop items specifically to clear those ads. What does the Gaia Staff wish to do about this matter, and when will it be solved? This question has yet to see any effective resolution, so far as many have seen. sad We are presently working with our partners to get this issue addressed. We've confirmed people are accurately being flagged on Gaia when they have made a qualifying purchase, but for whatever reason the flag has stopped being respected by our networks, we are working to identify what changed to get the issue resolved.

December 20th, 2016: lanzer angie_sash Features - Site UI?Just wanted to suggest that when you guys change the site UI, please make the font large/readable. I once suggested in a past ATS to make the font for bug/ink/trash/flower exchange to be larger. At present, it is as small as this. That's all. An advanced Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays to all the Gaia staff! Thanks for everything this year! I look forward to the new changes next year. 3nodding We don't have resources to work on Flash space at the moment, but the plan is to find help to convert things like Rally and Towns into HTML5 or Unity. Hopefully by then we will have adjustable font size.

January 24th, 2017: Lanzer Cruxis Fiend Features:Is the site ever going to completely deprecate Flash? We won't be actively removing flash, but I think that eventually browsers might stop supporting flash. On the other hand, I'm sure there will be one browser or another that is willing to keep supporting Flash. The only focus is that anything we do moving forward will be HTML5 based, that way they work fine on mobile too.
