At this point, it started to look that everyone was dividing up to go get to the bottom of what was going on. "...Suddenly I'm starting to think about one of those old cartoons that had a Houndour and several teenagers..." She said. "I swear to god, if it is a man in a mask, he's getting shot." Freth said, opting to head to the fairgrounds.

Once Pikachu was off Sub focused on his surroundings, looking to see if he could find something of value to the situation.
Amaranth and Freth would happen to be by the corral for the Mareep, they here for the judging along with the Miltank on the other side. One of the two hybrids might notice a small flicker of blue fire among the Mareep. The Pokemon didn't seem to notice however as it continued to flicker through out the flock.
Crystal, Dan, and Darts would find themselves among the dancing townfolk as they all paraded around the burning fire in the center of the festivities. One of them might notice a particular strange dancer. This one seemed to be lacking a head and no one among it seemed to notice. At one point the headless figure appeared to wave at the Snagems.
Back at the Lost Tower.
The Snagems would be greeted to a normal Lost Tower, wind blowing fierce, Zubat flapping around, and ghost moaning within. Once the Snagems entered they would instantly be greeted by a peculiar coldness that seemed to penetrate the very soul. It was terrible, and just didn't feel right. Furthermore all the headstones seemed...off. They weren't in rows, but scattered around. All out of place. Some of them had candy on top of them. Why?

Stepping into the Tower, the small tremors in Reno's right hand would grow to a more noticeable level as this strange alien feeling hit him. It had been something like this that had hit him before and he knew he had to warn the others. "Guys. Its....this feeling, it's...not that, no....it's...deathly, that's it. It feels....deathly in here." Reno stuttered out, the same tremor in his hand transferring into his voice. He would simply attempt to get a general feel of the environment, somehow try to locate what was causing this alien feeling.
Dista, foregoing any real manner of caution, would begin to poke at the tombstones with candy on top of them. The mute would hold up a single hand to warn the others off of repeating her actions as she awaited whatever bad thing was likely to happen from this.

Crystal would watch the dancing people and grin, tail swaying along. Raine was also almost tempted to bring out the violin in the case on her back, but was stopped by the sight of the headless person. "Um... Hey, uh, Crystal, was is? Look over there." She'd point at the guy and Crystal would raise an eyebrow.
"Uh, I'd say it's rude to point and stare, but that's not something you see everyday."

Freth continued about the fairgrounds, trying to pick up anything out of the ordinary. "I don't know Ammy...I'm starting to think Sub may be losing it a bit. Maybe he needs to stay away from Blizzard more-wait." Freth looked on over towards the Mareep and stared in confusion. "...uh...that...isn't normal, is it?"

Darts gives a wary eye to the headless figure, but it wasn't the main source of this evil presence he was feeling. He wasn't even sure what it was that he was feeling but it gives him the exact same impression as when he is in the Distortion World. At the very least, the eerily similar feeling was enough to turn his stomach. Well, he figured there was only one way to solve this. He motions to Rainata and Crystal to watch his back and he walks forwards, towards the headless spectre, trying to see if it would communicate.

The usual sights of the Lost Tower did little to faze Sol at all. However, the chilling nature of the area was a different matter, actually managing to leave him feeling slightly unnerved. The scattering of headstones didn't help, but for all he knew, they could've been some of the earliest ones. The candy, maybe a sort of tradition for the nearby town's residence. "The chi's worse here than in the town itself. As if it threatened to pierce whoever stepped near."
Aden, on the other hand, shivered as he made sure to stay away from those headstones. "Yeah, okay, no, not staying near those, not touching that candy unless I want another really weird mind trip," he commented, doing his best to ignore how cold he was feeling. It was like he had stepped out into the middle of Snowpoint City and had some of his clothes stolen in the process.
Cera opted not to say a word at all and tried to rush on in, having caught up and seen and felt the oddities for the place. And she wanted no part of what she was seeing. "Not gonna ask about the candy on the headstones either, going in, see you all there!"
"If Mareep can do that," Amaranth answered, staring at the flame as it flickered. It didn't look like it could've come from the Mareep at all, unless they suddenly learned how to use fire moves. "I've never seen it in any pictures of one."

As Darts neared the headless figure it would begin to dance away from him. By its movements this seemed to be intentional, as if luring Darts deeper into the crowd. The headless figure was mesmerizing almost, in a macabre way. As it danced deeper into the crowd it became obvious that it was leading Darts into the bonfire, closer and closer it got. If Darts didn't resist he would soon realize he couldn't stop following the specter, no matter how close it got to the bonfire.
As for Raine and Crystal they would be greeted by a pair of twin young women, both in white dresses. "Dance with us." They insisted, taking the two Snagems by the hand and forcing them to dance. Expect, they weren't touching their hands, their hands were not tangible and yet something was pulling them along. "Isn't this fun?" They asked, with almost a sneer. Crystal and Raine would both find themselves dancing against their will and if they didn't stop they just knew the dancing would never end.
Freth and Amaranth wouldn't have time to ponder what was going on as a 'hand' of blue flames caressed Freth's face. The fire didn't burn, it was chillingly cold in fact. Even Freth could feel this cold. Amaranth was largely not targeted, at least not outwardly. She would however have a strong urge to open the Mareep pen's gate and she didn't know why. She wanted to release the Mareep. And she didn't know why.

Normally, Amaranth might've first thought about trying to deal with the flaming hand that just decided to give Freth's face the facial of a lifetime. Her attention, instead, had her looking to the pen all of the Mareep were in. She had a strong urge to open it, set them free, get them out of their captivity.
What Freth would see, if she could see anything at all beyond flames in her face, wouldn't be much help from the Ho-oh hybrid. Instead, she'd see her fumbling with the pen before opening it and waving to motion the Mareep that they could escape at once.

He keeps going, step after step bringing him closer and closer towards the fire. But he didn't care... all he wanted to do was follow this figure forever.... The outer front of his jacket starts to sizzle like bacon fat in a pan as he moves inch by inch towards the inferno in front of him like a mindless zombie.

And the Mareep would do as such, rushing out of the pen, something frightening them as electricity crackled from their coats and they threatened to run over both hybrids and then the fair.

Freth had to pull back super-fast, flinching from the freakishly cold flaming hand that graced her face. "The hell...? Amaranth, did you see-" She looked over towards the Ho-oh hybrid and stared in confusion. "Ammy, what are you doing? Ammy? Wait, Ammy don't!" Before Freth knew it, the Mareep rushed out, a wave of fluff rushed out and Freth bailed out off to the side, rushing for safety. "Amaranth! What the hell were you thinking!?"

As Dan was heading for the stands, he would be held up by quite the sight. A headless man that was beckoning for him and the others to near. You could understand if he was hesitant to approach a man who lacked a head on his shoulders. The trainer was sure it was just a costume, considering it hadn't affected any of the residents who danced beside it. Darts decided to approach the man, although cautiously. He turned around to the girls to find they too had joined in on the dancing with more bizarrely dressed individuals. He shrugged it off, continuing where he left off until he saw the gambler walking into the bonfire. "Whoa, Darts! Watch where you're going!" he called out to the man, rushing over to pull him back.

Crystal would nod, but before either of them could move forward with Darts, the two women in white dresses abducted their movement and had them dancing. "Maybe for a while," Crystal replied, leering at the possible specters, "but definitely not forever..." She'd levitate a Pokéball to her forked tail to hold for a moment, her eyes darting over to Raine. "Uh... I-I'd rather be-be playing music r-r-right now...." Raine was petrified at the moment by her situation, and she was growing more pale by the moment, if that was possible. "I-I don't dance..."

A few seconds passed before she got to her feet, shaking her head and realizing what she had done. "I... don't know?" She eventually answered, honestly not sure what she was really thinking at all. "I felt this need to just open their pen to let them out and be free, and I couldn't ignore it."
