Nervousness. Martha had been to other schools before, when she was living on Earth, but the humans weren't very accommodating after they learned of her powers.
Stop shaking. That's a sign of weakness, and you're not weak. She thought, pinching her own leg slightly, assuring herself that she'd be fine. She'd always be fine. The girl flicked her wrist and made her small bag of luggage levitate, allowing for easier transport, before she pushed open the iron bars and began walking up the path.

Carlos smirked as he watched the girl from afar. "Newbies.." He thought, slinging the huge hammer over his shoulder. His eyes soon narrowed as he spotted a gnome, about 7inches tall running around the girl's feet. It wasn't just any gnome, the one had a pink Jobi Gem with it. "Hey! That's mine!" He suddenly shouted, jumping over the brick wall.
He ran toward the girl with his hammer in hand, as if he was ready for battle. Just as she took her twenty-third step on the pathway, WHAM! Carlos smashed his hammer right in front of her feet, hitting the gnome right on its head and catching it in his enchanted weapon. Carlos fell back and laughed. "Aha! I got him! One swing! I got him! Did you see? Did you see?" He smiled proudly, despite almost crushing the girl's toes.

The expression on her face changed from that of fright to a mix annoyance and anger. "Yes, I did see," She said through gritted teeth. "You were close enough to almost crush my f*cking feet!" She clenched her fists, then sighed, her expression softening again. "It wouldn't have mattered anyway."

Carlos rubbed the back of his head. "Ha! Yeah, that might have hurt, huh?" He had cuts and bruises all over his face and neck, on his arms too. Carlos smiled cheerfully. "I heard that girls look cute when they're angry. I'm starting to believe it now." He blushed a bit and looked away, picking up the Jobi Gem the gnome was carrying.
He looked at the shiny Gem and then put it in his pocket. Carlso gave the girl a nice grin, showing off his shark-like teeth, all sharpened to a point. "I'm Carlos. Do you want me to show you to the girls dorm?" He set his hammer on the ground for a moment, before picking it back up and slinging it over his shoulder like before.

She smirked and began to walk closer to the school, her bags following closely behind. She stopped once she was beside the main entrance. "I'm Martha. And yeah, that'd be nice. I was probably going to have to ask where the dorms are anyway."

Carlos began to follow her, stopping when she did. "Flirting? I guess so. Guys and girls do it without really thinking though, so I wasn't really thinking when I did it. Well, no. Maybe I was. Gah! I'm not sure." He shrugged his shoulders, confusing himself with his bickering. He walked around and looked back at the gate. "Geez. I bet that thing looks creepy at night." He thought, soon facing Martha's back. "So, this school has Humans as well.. I mean. Using your abilities is okay, just don't get caught. I do. Most of the time." He walked up beside her and showed Martha his wrists. It looked like he was a cutter, but the truth was soon to come. "They put handcuffs on me and force me to go to class. Cruel. Cruel. Cruel." Carlos suddenly pointed to a building to the left. "That one, right... There! That's the girls dorm. The last time I went there I got beat up."
He inhaled a deep breath and let it out slowly, a slight flame flicked out from between his lips. The last Jobi Gem he ate hadn't worn off yet. "Aha! But, I guess that's expected. I hit a baseball into one of the windows."

Shintaro Urameshi --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Not far away there was a girl's giggle Shintaro had his hand on a tree and the girl was against it and Shintaro was near her neck and was tickling it with his breath." Stop that it tickles" The girl said lightly blushing as she shrunk away from his breath." Well I can show you something --" Shintaro was cut off by being picked up off the ground and that made Shintaro look up." What do you think your doing flirting with my girlfriend?" The tall Giant muscled filled man asked" Oh she's your girlfriend...Are you his girlfriend?..." Shintaro asked looking towards the girl and she nodded and that made Shintaro look back up at the guy." Well if she was having fun with me must mean your not getting the job done then again she's probably scared of you squishing her cause your so big and muscly...." Shintaro said flat out and the guy lost his temper and took a swing at Shintaro only to have Shintaro dodge it and kick the guy right between the legs as he swung back and it caused the big guy to drop Shintaro and him fall to the ground groaning. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Carlos turned his head to overhear the three people talking. He smirked when he saw what the smaller kid did. "Haha! Whoa! That guy looks like fun! I haven't seen him around before though." He took a step forward and slipped on some mud, losing grip of his hammer which came crashing down on his hand. Carlos was so close to screaming, but he fought it off and smiled instead. "Well, that just happened." He picked up the hammer and tried to squeeze his hand into a fist. It hurt enough for him to grimace. "Damn.." He jumped up and shoved his hurt hand into his coat pocket.
Carlos could feel his hand slightly damp, meaning it was more than likely bleeding. "Uh.. Martha?" Something in the bush caught his eye and he turned to look, three gnomes were walking in a line, acting as if Carlos wasn't even there, watching them. "H-Hey!! Don't ignore me!" He yelled, going off the path to chase after the three gnomes. He completely left Martha on her own as he ran off.

She sighed, Guess I'll just go find him later... the violet haired girl thought to herself. As she was about to open the door and leave, Martha heard someone not to far off. She turned around and saw to guys fighting and a girl stood beside them. She laughed to herself, and wondered if she wanted to intervene or just watch, then decided that doing the latter would be more fun for a while, so she moved a bit closer to see the fight in more detail.

She pulled out a cigarette and lit it with the tip of her finger before making her way towards him. "Where'd you learn to kick a** like that?" She asked, breathing out a puff of smoke.
