The boil had been looking for something resembling a large punch bowl typical of school-held dances, but instead found some test tubes and various ingredients to make his own drink. Wasn't it bad to eat and drink in the laboratory, let alone eat/drink what was being made? Unsure of what exactly he was doing, Quillan grabbed some of the fourth jug because it had a very nice hue and poured that into his test tube. He grabbed another jug and poured that in before taking a small sip from the test tube and shrugged because it didn't taste bad. As he was deciding on what else to add, he heard a voice say "the silver beaker". The ink demon turned around and didn't see anyone, but added the suggested liquid to his mix. His stomach began to hurt so he quickly grabbed a vial and poured some if its contents in, spilling some because his hand wouldn't stop shaking. For whatever reason, he decided he wanted to taste it first so he took a swig and not too long after, he was running to the restroom because it felt like sharp knives were about to cut open his stomach.

Rosy follows Spinar, trying her best to hide her face against his side. She knew better then to tease him, but she did anyways. Looking up, she shakes her head as she relax against him "Yes, this is true. Though, a rather screech heart of a demon made me realize how much they were fun. He hung out with me, even though we were fighting. And even didn't mind when I stole his top hat." she leans up to brush a kiss to his cheek before she pulls away to look at the first booth game that caught her attention.

Of course it would, as it happen to be Spin the Wheel.

Glancing towards Spinar, she chuckles "We just did something like this for the Carnival. I wish you could have come to it, I wanted to show you something." turning away, she reached for wheel and spun it.

It didn't go as fast as she wanted, but it was still a good enough spin.

Only, when it landed on a section that she didn't win, she simply shrugs. She knew with these it was chance, and she was okay with not winning. Turning to Spinar, she steps aside as she crossed her arms under her chest "Your turn love."

At least Mathias seemed to know exactly where everything was. Hollandaise was, at best, distracted in new enviroments and at worst... spacey. Her dress floated around her, the slit billowing out around her legs. A glowing mushroom? Once they had stopped, she reached up with her free hand and tweaked his ear, just a bit.

"A glowing mushroom is hardly a romantic notion, Mathias." But there was a thread of amusement running in her voice. "Although I don't know a way to make it seem romantic - it's quite bright..." With that, she moved closer to the table, hand still loosely in his. Hollandaise's eyes flickered over each of the ingredients. This seems altogether strangely complicated. Sighing, she simply sniffed the vials before tipping a few into a cup. With a wary look at the liquid, she drank.

Oh, oh, oh. It wasn't bad at all! Pumpkin, pumpkin pie (because there was never enough pumpkin), treating, and eggs to provide a slight noggy feel. If Hollandaise had lived in a world with Starbucks on every corner, she would be a pumpkin spice latte girl. As if was, she simply enjoyed the sort of fall flavors however she could get them. The liquid left a pleasant taste on her tongue, something almost nostalgic and she took another drink and then another before leaning over Mathias to peer at his own work.

"Here, Mathias, do you want to try this? I think it is not bad." She placed a hand on his arm before depositing her half-filled cup next to him. The idea that he could be uncomfortable sharing her cup never crossed her mind. "I'll be right back."

"Hm, I wonder who that handsome sounding boil was?" A raise of elegant brow was given to the ghoul and he smirked. It was strange to think long it had been since they had ran into one another. Strange but now he couldn't imagine Amity without Rosy. Entering the gaming area Spinar was quick to look over each place setup, nothing looked super alluring, as it didn't involve the kind of gambling he liked but some looked worth while.

Spin the Wheel, standing in front with Rosy his hands traveled to his pockets, placed there as he waited the ghoul to go first.

"Oh yeah? Sorry about that, I was busy with more than my fair share of things at the time." He hadn't been keeping up on classes enough to sneak away, but Rosy didn't need the long and short of it. At the ending result of nothing he chuckles teasingly and then moves to the wheel.

Stepping up he spun and then grinned over his shoulder towards the ghoul, "demons luck.." He winked, waiting for the ticket prize.

Rosy just gave Spinar that look, knowing he was teasing her. He knew, but she wasn't going to admit it out loud, because that was what he wanted her to do. Instead, she smirks as she watch him win a ticket. With a chuckle, she bows her head as she smiles "Of course, though you could give me some of that luck. Maybe later..?" she stands straight back up as she holds her hand out towards him "Come on...I wanna show you something...then steal you for a dance. We can come back to the games later, then maybe we can take a picture before the dance is over?" yes she was being greedy at the moment, but she wanted him to herself.

Not to mention, she had a couple gifts she wanted to give him.

Hollandaise drifted from game table to table, dress swirling airily around her ankles. She remembered the games of when she'd come first to this school - fortune-telling, costumes. It had been a real carnival. This was science-themed, although not true science, she supposed. As she moved, she kept one eye on the dance, watching as creeple swung each other about or danced closely. Maybe Hollandaise could ask Mathias if he knew how to dance. The music didn't resonate with her as much as if seemed to with other, although she could still feel the bass rumble in the hollow of her chest. Maybe she could ask Mathias if wolpertingers danced.

With an idle hand, she spun a wheel, the circling of it combined with the low light makingher head spin just the same. She wasn't surprised she won nothing; Hollandaise just like the chance of things. With the exception of few, she didn't see too many creeple she knew - although she did catch a glimpse of the feathered boy from class, Pachua, his wings wrapped around the council president.

She wandered back over to the table near Mathias. He was thankfully easy to spot, despite his dark clothes and shorter stature. Perhaps it was the ears. There simply weren't that many students in the possession of rabbit ears, more had horns or just small, pointed ones. Hollandaise reached up and tugged on one of her own ears before patting her hair. The intricate braids and twists held well; the branches helped secure it. She would probably have a headache before the night was done, though. HEr hair was long and heavy and having it piled up made her scalp feel tight.

"Did you mix anything, Mathias?" Hollandaise leaned around him as best she could, trying to peer at his drink. Humming softy (the sound incongrous with the music at best, painfully out of tune at worst, she began to put together another drink. This time, she chose almost entirely at random, not pausing to sniff the contents of the test tubes. Eggs, real spiders, eggs, and... a gnome bumped into the table and she lurched, accidentally grabbing a truly random vial. Poisonous candy. The liquid bubbled dangerously, dripping onto the table and with a squeak of distress, she quickly downed half of it.

It was awful. It tasted thick and sweet and of a thousand wiggly little legs. She coughed and placed one hand on the table to catch herself before turning to Mathias with a rueful smile. Something fizzed in her stomach and warmed the back of her neck. "Don't.. ah... don't mix them at random. Also - is there anything in particular you want me to do? You bought me, after all. For tonight, I belong to you." Hollandaise laughed a little, breathy and feeling oddly light. She didn't understand exactly why Deszeld had been so mad - it was only one night. She blinked. Hollandaise was having trouble thinking at that moment, anyway.

Unbidden, her hand reached up to touch one of his ears: they looked so, so soft. And she scratched behind them gently, like one might a cat, without thinking of whether he would want that or not.

The table was easy enough to find, as he had passed it once while waiting for Hollandaise to arrive, and his dark vision made seeing things easy (though the brightness here and there from the black lights were still a little irritating, he was starting to get used to it).

It wasn't until they came to a stop that he spoke. "Yes like mushroom glow. Is not bad thing! The mushrooms are charming and pretty." A small half smile, though he was sure he probably wasn't making much sense, so to help he reached into his pocket with his free hand, and plucked out a single, small, glowing mushroom.

"Like this!"

As she went to work building her drink, Mathias found himself with two free hands again, so he put the mushroom away and had a look at his options.

And continued to look for a long time, hesitant to even try mixing any together. He took so long to decide, in fact, that just as he was reaching for the first ingredient, Holly startled him by asking if he would like to try her drink, which was purported to be good.

He took it from her hand and sniffed at it gingerly. It did not smell half bad, so he took a small, tentative sip. "Is good!" He nodded, sounding surprised.

When she said she would be right back, he nodded again, once again distracted by the ingredients on the table.

He finally decided on trying some candycorn. No, not just a little, but lots of candycorn. He needed to mix something in with it however or what would be the point of this? He finally decided on something that smelled rather tasty, like carrots and celery and lettuce! He dumped in the healthy food and swirled his drink around.

Holly returned, and again he startled. "Yes am just finishing." He tilted the drink in her direction so that she could see, and then, raising it up, he took a sip.

And then slowly set the drink down.

He would never speak of that drink again.

At Hollandaise's question, he glanced towards her. What would he like her to do? That would require a little thought, and he pursed his lips together, crossing his arms and tapping a foot on the ground in thought.

"How about----" he began, but then she was suddenly reaching god his ears. His eyes widened, he leaned back but it was far too late. Long fingers were stroking down his ear and he shivered, his arms uncrossing and going limp at his sides.

And then she began to scritch behind his ear and oh, ohhhhh that felt good. His head nuzzled closer to her hand, practically begging for more, and the foot that was previously tapping began to beat against the floor rapidly.

"This. This is good." He sighed.

He was going to be so very upset with both her and himself when she stopped, however. This was embarrassing though the pleasure at the moment far outweighed the cost.

Jack, but it was so soft. Hollandaise liked green things, big things, elegant beautiful things. But this small, soft, little wolpertinger was really cute and the way he leaned into her hand was perfect. Normally, she felt as though she wouldn't have touched him or anyone for that matter - not like this, without warning. But tonight was different, weird, and she could probably blame that stupid drink. She smiled and surpressed a giggle, moving closer. Her hand almost jerked back and a small 'oh' of surprise escaped her as his foot began thumping.

But still, her hand continued moving. And then, Hollandaise thought about the fact that she had two hands and he had two ears, so the math was undeniable. Her other hand stroked briefly down his hair before settling next to his currently untouched ear. She hummed, a pleased noise, as her hand moved, the thin tips of her long fingers perfectly suited to scratching. They probably looked a strange sight, a thumping wolpertinger and a rather forward warder. Hollandaise wasn't really thinking about it at the moment - only that Mathias was really soft and it seemed to make him feel good and it was nice.

Then a gnome coughed very loudly next to them, clearly wanting to restock the table and she jerked her hands back, shuffling out of his way. She rubbed her fingertips together before speaking, suddenly feeling acutely embarrassed. "Oh, ah, I'm sorry. I just really... wanted to touch them." Her hand reached up to finger one flower on her shoulder, mouth opening as if to say something further. But she didn't. The truth was, she could have gone on for quite a long time scritching his ears.

It was absolute, sheer bliss. One ear scratching was wonderful, but two at once? The feel of it threatened to put the tinger into sensory overload, his body drooping from the waist up as if he were melting on the spot, his foot thumping, thumping, pace quickening, his body leaning more and more forward towards her.

When the scratches began to ease off, so did his foot, slowing down as he sagged forward, face going to rest on her chest as he let out a long sigh, eyes half lidded, a peaceful smile on his face.

He barely noticed that she'd stopped, or that a gnome was trying to get them to move. He mumbled something completely unintelligible, and continued to cuddle up against her for a few moments longer.

It wasn't until she began to move, to get out of the gnomes way, that Mathias jerked to attention.

"Ach, voman!" He exclaimed, suddenly standing straight, face going red, eyes glaring into the distance just to the left of having to look directly at her. "Vas not giving permission for ear touching!" He grumped, arms crossing once more.

"There is line. Is thin line. Please to not be crossing line. Now, vhere is food? Vould like food." His face was still red as he pushed passed her, his face set in a scowl that had more to do with embarrassment than anger.

"Come!"

Brand, having dragged Demi and by association Deacon to the drinks counter was happily throwing this and that into his vials. First went in some pumpkin pie, and it smelled outrageously good. Following the pumpkin pie, he accidentally dumped in a ton of healthy snacks, and suddenly wasn't so sure about the ordeal.

Thirdly, a disgruntled gnome knocked poisoned candy into his drink, and he was not too sure what it was that'd gotten knocked in at all.

Lastly, with a wicked smile mostly to himself, the lingerie and animal ears went into his drink. He took a sip, smiling to himself, and let the taste sink in. He offered the drink to Damien. "If you're so eager to talk about feelings, this is how you make me feel," Brand teased him, stealing the drink back regardless of whether or not Demi intended to take a sip. He drank long from the cup, until his cheeks were warm and when he opened his eyes flowers bloomed across Deacon and Damien. He smiled to himself for the beauty he knew only he could see.

Much better. He shook himself, as if limbering up. He felt so much better, now. So much more himself. "Now I can be magic," he joked.

Honestly? Deacon had no idea what he was doing. He just grabbed vials that had interesting colors or smells. Or both. Granted, if he'd have actually smelled the one with eggs in it he might have thought twice. It was just such a lovely shade...

The tabby took a careful taste of his drink as he watched Brand and Demi enjoying conversation and Brand's concoction. Well, it could have tasted better, but certainly could have been a lot worse. It was sweet, and it made him feel... Good? Maybe? Yes. Yes, good was an accurate descriptive word.

It might have been a little much to chug the rest, but it did taste a lot better than the metallic tinge in his mouth.

"They've got my props on the drinks this year," Deacon stated, setting aside his empty cup. "We need to come back here later."

Damien watched bemusedly when brand was busy concocting, and deacon playing tabby scientist not far behind. "What are you even- how can you put healthy snacks in it?" he didnt understand just what in jacks name they were doing, even more so when the pink haired boil offered a sip that he took, albeit a tiny bit.

and everything was sunshine and sparkles for the briefest of seconds. and there was pink flowers in bloom.

"Brand is that what you use all the time?" This was where his magic came from? "Welp, whatever floats your boat and makes the biscuits." he cheered and spun the boil around. "Next time, add bacon."

Having made his way over to the mixology table Titus looked over the random ingredients they got to choose from to mix their drinks. Really, if Titus understood the fact that he was going to be made to consume this terrible concoction he probably would have picked his items with a little more care instead of just grabbing a few random things and giving them a once over before pouring them in. To him it would probably taste the same no matter what.

"Do humans really drink this sort of thing I wonder?" If they did they were strange creatures indeed.

"Jack!" Titus stepped back as his beaker overflowed with liquid. Honestly he wasn't certain if it had been too much candy or jelly spiders but one of the two had thrown the whole thing over the rim of the glass and onto the table. "Yeah...I'm sure someone else can get that." He wasn't cleaning it up.
