He smirked, though by this time it was becoming more of a vicious baring of teeth than the smug and almost passive yet cold amusement it normally held. His gaze remained, as always, unchanging, uncaring, dead and devoid of the emotion most others held. "Ah, of course. Why would you? He'd just get jealous, I'm sure. Perhaps I should seek him out, ease his mind, let him know I wouldn't go near you with my d**k if it was triple bagged and I was given a years supply of disinfectant to cleanse myself with afterwards."

He probably would have said more if the wind wasn't suddenly knocked out of him with a strong jab that sent him doubling over. He hadn't been able to dodge her quick movements, and he wasn't able to dodge what came directly afterwards, a knee taking him in the face, though he at least managed to turn his head to the side just enough to keep his nose from taking the brunt of the force behind the blow.

Fortunatley for him as well, it was his scarred and eyepatched side that he had turned into it. There was still pain, and plenty of it, coupled with a lack of oxygen making it into his lungs. There was a distinct crack that told him that there was a good chance his cheekbone had been fractured, a sharp pain that reverberated up to his eye socket, and when he clenched his teeth against the pain, it only hurt all the more.

"Son of a b***h." He hissed as he jerked away, stumbling back, one hand going to his cheek as the other swung toward where he thought her face was with the crow bar, though the vision in his good eye had gone blurred and watery.

The blow to the cheek should have taken flesh and teeth with it as her head whipped back, but her shield kept it from being anything but straight up pain. It seared, aching into her molars and all the way through her jaw. It over shadowed the impact of knee against concrete, the bit of gravel in her palm when she landed. It stung, but it was nothing.

A hand came up to cup the side of her face as she turned her head back to look up at him, and pale eyes were alive. "Harder, Finn." She rolled back onto her feet, stalking forward as he backed away.

It wasn't real enough yet. The pain was superficial and distant, her shield doing it's job, protecting her from the worst of it so she could continue to function. It was something she depended on in the line of duty, but here and now, she just wanted to feel it. Warrick shifted uneasily in her mind, radiating his disapproval, and she reached out to him, soothing. He didn't understand, and she didn't know how to explain it to him.

She foot swept him before he could regain his balance, and as he fell she dropped with him, sinking one knee into his chest as the other moved to pin his right wrist. Leaning, she loomed over him, and she was small enough that, even this far up on his body, she could meet that single eye easily. "Talk like that will give a girl a complex." The backhand came from his blind side.

"Such an a*****e." Though really, it didn't sound as though she was all that insulted.

He could feel the crow bar connect to something, though it was hard to see just what with his eye watering and his face throbbing painfully. Always the face. Why were people always going for his face?

He backed up and wiped his eye with the back of his hand in an attempt to clear his blurred vision, but it was only soon enough to feel a tug at the back of his foot, and before he knew it he was on the ground, a pressure pressing against his chest painfully, another weight going on top of his wrist.

"Jesus, for such a small thing you sure weigh a ton." He hissed out. Thankfully, being left handed, he wasn't too concerned about which arm she had pinned to the ground, though in the fall the crow bar had jostled loose from his grip and was just barely out of reach, though his fingers grasped....

...And came up with a broken chunk of cement instead, just one of many pieces of rubble that littered the ground. Fingers closed around it just as something slammed against the side of his head, pain rocking him in nauseating waves as for a moment his vision went dark. He still gripped the rock tight, however, and with her leaning down, he swung, aiming to take her full tilt in the side of the head, his teeth gritting together tight with the effort it would take to gain any momentum in hiss current position.

"It's all the muscles," she mused, chuckling as he groped blindly in the rubble for something to use as a weapon. For a second or two she considered stopping him, pinning that arm as well, but where would the fun in that be? The part of her that was enjoying this immensely was curious what he would do. Brows twitched up as his fingers tightened around a chunk of concrete, then he was lashing out, hammering it against the side of her head, and for just an instant she saw nothing but star bursts of darkness.

It knocked her off him, and she landed beside him with a grunt, one small hand coming down hard on the gravel rough concrete to try to catch herself before a shake of her head cleared her vision.

That one hurt. But at the same time, the pain felt good. Ever nerve was alive, singing, and it was exactly what she had wanted.

Of course her gratitude would be repaid immediately. How could she do anything less?

A small hand shot out, and she was tangling delicate fingers in that chestnut hair. A handful, twisted down to the scalp, and she used it like a handle to drag him to her. "You are doing better than Jack, I'll give you that." It was almost purred as her other arm looped around his shoulders from behind, and tightened around his neck, pressing down on the arteries on either side a she folded against his back. Maintaining pressure, but also making herself as small a target as he could so it'd be so much harder for him to grab at her.

Fingers twisting in his hair. It hurt, but not in an unbearable way. He was sure he'd experienced as bad or worse, just during general foreplay, though in those experiences he couldn't recall a single time that he had been drug across hard concrete, and then put in a headlock that cut off his air supply from behind.

He would have said something, but it was hard to speak when you couldn't breathe. Instead, his hands came up in an attempt to pry at her arms, which squeezed painfully against pressure points in his neck, causing his eye to water, and for his head to swim dizzily.

Not sure what else to do, he jabbed out behind him with an elbow, using what strength he had to lean forward, before throwing himself back towards the ground, hoping to hit her head against the concrete and dislodge her hold from around him.

It was easy to avoid the sharp jab of Finn's elbows. She was small, and she used his own body as a shield against himself. Making it next to impossible to reach her, save for the desperate claw of his hands against her arm. That stung, nails biting into her shield, her skin, but it was nothing against the awful satisfaction that rose up and up the longer she kept her hold on him.

Unfortunately, small as she was, she was also light as a ******** feather. It wouldn't take much effort for the Moon to roll forward and take her with him. Startling, her grip tightened, voice rising up in an angry hiss, before he was smashing her back into the ground.

And indeed her head bounced off the pavement. Stunned, thin arms loosened, let him slip free. A split second of oblivion, then she was kicking out, blind, and a feral grin cut across delicate features as she felt her heel connect.

As soon as her grip loosened, Finn was turning, not wanting to have his back towards the woman any longer than it needed to be. He was half way completed in his rotation when her heel struck out at him, connecting directly with his knee.

The pain was immediate, and horrible, worse than anything else he'd experienced so far, which might have only meant that his Fear shield was just getting low and not able to filter out everything he should have been feeling anymore. His leg twisted, and he fell on his side, his hands going to his knee, holding it as he clenched his teeth against the pain that he wanted to scream up towards the sky.

Stupid b***h. Stupid ******** b***h.

Breathing heavily from between bared teeth, Finn rolled his head around, looking for something, anything he could use against her.

Ah. The elusive crow bar. He reached, fingers grasping for the hard steel before closing around it. With a wiggling maneuver, he managed to half sit up, propped up on an elbow, and with all of the strength that he could muster at that moment, he flung it directly towards her chest.

Dazed, blurry, she she could see him moving around but couldn't yet see him. The scrap of metal concrete stole the grin from her face, and she made a move, trying to roll away, but the crow bar connected before she had the chance. It was pain enough she would have gagged if she'd had the air for it, but the blow took her breath away, made her wheeze, hissing between clenched teeth as she rolled to her side and curled around the hit.

Jesus ******** Christ!

Warrick raged, screaming through her head as she sucked in a painful breath and unfolded, getting up on hands and knees before rising up on her feet. "God damn." Strained, angry, but a distinct thread of amusement wove it's way through harsh words.

Straightening, she run her hand along her chest, wincing. It felt like maybe he'd cracked a rib or two, maybe worse. Breathing hurt. But it was a dull, throbbing ache. Spreading out with every hard pound of her heart to since shocks of pain through the whole of her small frame.

It wasn't enough to slow her down, not yet. Peyton dropped her hand from her chest and snapped forward, lunging for him, to slam a delicate fist into the side of his ribs, once, twice. The other hand tangling into the front of his shirt.

He was already in pain, his body hurting in ways he'd forgotten it could. When she lunged for him, he couldn't even hope to get away, his movements slow, his head dizzy. His face throbbed where he was sure she had broken his cheekbone, the back of his head, his ribs, his knee, everything. Any added on agony at that point just bled into the rest, felt, but endured despite the way his mind began to swim.

The jabs to his ribs, which he was fairly certain were already broken, elicited a hiss of pain, and he tried to shove her away, or at the very least, force her to rethink her plan of attack, by jabbing her directly in the bottom center of her throat with four fingers.

The reactive jab pulled a startled sound from the Sun somwhere between a grunt and a gag, but as she staggered backward a hand was there closing around his wrist to yank him off balance as she regained her own. A twist and a step to the side had that long arm at an odd angle behind his back, hand up near the back of his neck, and a swift sweep at his legs brought him down to a more manageable height. A position that was almost familiar.

"Haven't we done this before?" She purred, free hand at the back of his head, forcing it down and away, delicate fingers pressing harshly.

"I will hand it to you, Finn, you're a tenacious son of a b***h. Ruthless, relentless." A little more pressure on his arm. "This was a lot of fun."

No matter how he fought, no matter what he did, she seemed to bounce back with a vengeance, proving to him over and over again that she was simply stronger than he was, and that was all that mattered. Not that it bothered him, really. He'd taken his licks at the hands of a strong woman on this island before. He knew it had just as much to do with the weapon bond as it did skill. He knew she was a rank above him for a reason.

None of that had made this any less enjoyable, however, even with his arm twisted behind his back and his head shoved forward towards his chest, pain arcing across his shoulders and down his spine, his breathing labored, blood dripping from a cut on his face down to the hot pavement below.

It was difficult, in this position, to speak, but somehow he managed to choke out. "Doesn't have to be the last time, darling."

Though he had a feeling once Jack found out, he'd have a word or two to say about that.

Even so. As much as the green haired giant liked to puppet people around, Finn did as he pleased.

She kept him like that for a long handful of moment, or so it might have felt to his aching body, knees against unforgiving concrete. Then, slowly, she took her hand away from his head, hand loosening around his wrist and easing his arm out of the painful hold she'd kept it in. The fight was over, she'd won, but all the same she took a few cautious steps back, gaining space before he could get back to his feet. Probably he wouldn't retaliate, but just in case...

"I'm not opposed to it," she mused, small hands coming to rest on her hips as she regarded her handy work. He was bruised and beaten, blood dripping from his lips. It was a pretty sight, no denying it, and a small little smile touched pink lips. "I'm not one to turn down a fight."

Like all good Suns, she enjoyed the thrill of a spar. Unlike most, she enjoyed it perhaps a little too much. But Finn knew that.

"You gunna need a doctor?" He'd been a vicious a*****e, but he had provided a wonderful challenge, and she did feel better. If he needed it, she'd help him get to the infirmary. Or even just back to the dorms.

Breathing was becoming difficult as his head began to swim, the air rattling in his chest with every near gasp inhalation. He wondered if she planned to keep him like this, weak, too much so to be able to counter, as black spots began to overtake his vision, until he passed out in her arms and she could leave him there, bleeding on the ground.

But blessedly, finally, the grip on his head and neck loosened, the knee against his spine easing away, and his head instantly picked up, neck stiff with pain, a few deep breaths taken through his nose and exhaled slowly through his mouth until he no longer felt like he might vomit on the hot pavement.

And then, he spoke, and like so often in his life perhaps it might have been better if he hadn't, but then, it wouldn't really be Finn, would it?

"Of course you aren't. You love this. You can't get this with your timid little boyfriend, can you?" He hissed out a laugh, and struggled just to stand on his own two feet, though he would refuse any help if it was offered. "God, that must really suck in the bedroom, darling. How the ******** do you even get off?" A half cocked smile with the words behind a bloody and bruised face.

He waved off her offer of a doctor. "I'll be fine. I can take care of myself." Because clearly taking on a full hunter in a brawl could be classified as that.

Nobody ever said Finn always acted intelligently.

But he did have everything necessary to get himself patched up in his own bedroom. At the infirmary, he'd have to answer too many questions, and in his mind, this little scuffle should probably remain a private, secret affair. The less people who knew, the better, he was sure.

"How about you just call me when you're ready to go again, sweetheart."

Peyton's head tilted gently to one side, quizzical, like a bird that had spotted something curious. A retort had formed immediately on her tongue, but she closed her teeth around it, bit it back, as if she actually considered his needling as something more than investigative banter. For a second or two she looked thoughtful, then she smiled, soft and sweet and cold as a winter's sky. Giving him nothing in the way of answer, least not by word or conscious action.

She shrugged as he passed up her offer of assistance, hands coming up to rest on thin hips as she watched him. "If you're sure." It was probably for the best. As much as Allan had urged her to work on various forms of combat, including weaponless, there was every possibility he hadn't meant outside the damage buffers. No, this was probably better left on the down-low. She hadn't talked much about her fight with Jack, and she wouldn't talk much about this one either.

A soft tch followed that last comment, and she grinned at him, lifting hands to comb them back through now messy curls, pushing her hair away from her face. "How about you toughen up a bit, then we'll talk?" Not that she wouldn't have faced him again as he was, but she could imagine how much of a challenge he'd be if rose through the ranks, strengthened his bod and his body.

At least she hadn't been condescending when she'd suggested it. It was a legitimate counter proposal to his offer.

"Take care of yourself now, Finn." A delicate hand dropped down to offer a wave, then she was turning on the toe of her boot, heading back the way he'd come. If her were observant, he'd notice the tension in thin shoulders had vanished, the sour mood completely dissipated.
