➟Donovan looked at Emit, he was obviously confused. He didn't really understand what Emit was doing with this technology but he shrugged it off. "I'll do the best I can." Donovan reached into his chest through this small glowing hole, a portal to his heart. Withdrawing his arm he took out a large sword bigger than his entire body. He was wielding it with ease as he took a stance gripping the blade firmly between his hands. With Illo watching me this blade feels heavy, it's never been heavy before. It's probably a response to my nervousness. The portal closed with the blade released from within his body. Instead of striking first he wanted the responsibility to be passed onto Emit.

This ability is deadly when it comes to fighting. It can fracture/ and break bones when used. The weakness is that this can extend a maximum of only 7 feet around him. + Flare: using this ability he can generate a bright light used to signal others far away or to distract his attackers. It's generated from his hand so when he uses it, the light forms a giant ball around him. But if his hands are broken, Or covered at the time he cannot use it for obvious reasons. + Electricity manipulation: With this ability he can manipulate electricity. It also has a stance change. In one stance its a blunt and destructive weapon. in the second it is a sharp and quick weapon. The weakness of this ability is that his leg can be trapped due to it not being skinny like a sword. So he can actually break his legs when he's in stance two. and in stance one he can be cut threw since it's not in stance 2. It's does not become tough and hard to cut threw when in stance one so he cannot use this stance when dealing with a blade. + Shadow manipulation: With this ability he can use his shadow to impale or trap someone inside of it. ➟Donovan was surprised by Emit's display of strength. Once more he felt a bit disheartened, he thought he'd never be able to fight someone that could just slice through his attacks using only his legs. Since there weren't that many options he just decided to swing his blade more and more, releasing more waves of energy. The waves were a light blue color. It didn't signify much emotion but they wouldn't take that color unless Donovan had some doubts about himself in combat.

Illo notices Donovan's status and cheers him on.
He's not confident at all! Look at that stance.. And not to mention his energy is blue.

Illo was nearly ginding his teeth underneath that big hood of his. In training Donovan, Illo became familiar with the spectrum of Donovan's emotions, and more importantly how they were displayed in each attack. It was subtle, but Illo could see, if not from the slumped stance of his protege, that Donovan's blasts, usually bright and triumphant, were frosted over with a negative bluish tone. He called out.
Attack with meaning, Donovan! If you aim to defeat him, then you're going to have to cut through him. Attack like you do when we spar, when your energy is bright reds and yellows! Illo didn't want to interrupt the fight, but he also didn't want Donovan to lose either.

➟Donovan looked from Emit to Illo clearly embarrassed. Great job Donovan, now you've gone and messed up. I can't disgrace Illo after eveyhing he has done for me! "Y-Your right! I'll do it!" His eyes were concentrated on Emit but he was speaking out to his teacher. Emit's strange blast managed to push the frail boy back a bit. When it knocked him down his body dragged on for a bit before coming to a halt. "Ow..." Donovan got up rubbing his sword arm softly. What are you doing Donovan? You shouldn't show weakness to your enemies, no matter how much it hurt! With that thought he pointed his blade at the air above him before coming down with the lengthy blade. He sent a strong wave of energy, bright yellow in color, this time it'd be a lot stronger than the last waves. His heart was a little more into this attack after Illo restored some confidence in the young boy, surprisingly, his opponent as well. The yellow energy would most likely mow down anything in it's path but with his opponent being on another level it'd be hard to tell.

➟The young empath grinned feeling joyful that he got a good enough hit on Emit to knock him back. His confidence bolstered when Illo egged him on, but he couldn't get carried away, nor could he let Illo's name be tarnished. The man had bothered to train him, he wanted to show how great his teacher was through his newfound strength. Rather then get hit by Emit's attack, Donovan dodged by jumping to the side, the right to be exact. You'd think the large sword would wear him down but to Donovan it felt as light as a feather. Instead of countering he awaited Emit's next move, Donovan's limited offensive capabilities made it hard to get a good hit in so his best option was to wait for an opening.

Illo was growing impatient. Donovan had no trouble with an obvious counter like that in training. It wasn't the setup at all, and he was quite good at setting up, it was the execution. Speaking of, if the young apprentice didn't move he would be feeling a little light headed; Emit didn't look like the type to pass up an opportunity to take the match, and Donovan certainly was giving it to him.
Attack Donovan! Illo couldn't help himself. The mystic would shoot a telekinetic blast between the two combatants and intervene.
That'll do for now. Now... Let me remind you what it means to attack while defending, Illo bowed quickly toward Emit and then took off at him with some speed,
... And to defend while attacking! Illo would come at Emit with a flying kick to the head.

At the point of intersection, Illo would spin clockwise in the air to move right past Emit's kicks without contact. Landing a few meters away, the monk turned to face his opponent.
You seem to be enjoying yourself. Is this all you really wanted? A good fight? Illo placed his left leg behind his right and brought his hands up in a stagger: a classic, but basic, Wing Chun stance.
If that is all, I believe I should be more than adequate. Come. Illo would wait for Emit to make a move.
