Ever since the Flash maintenance on February 10th, Gaia Fishing has encountered a glitch. We can no longer have password rooms. We can make them passworded rooms but the rooms would show up as public to others so anyone can join. We either have to have public rooms or lock it/hide it so we wouldn't be bothered. Locking rooms with people in it has a risk of you disconnecting and not able to reenter your own room. Thanks for bringing this up, we had not noticed this issue. We'll pass this along so it can be addressed.

As it stands, the bet starts at zero, and you have to click three times to increase it to the max bet of 3. In the current economy, I can't imagine anyone betting less than the minimum, so why not set 3 tokens as the default, and allow players to click to decrease the bet, rather than increase it? Possible but probably not likely as this will require rebuilding the game, which may actually require us remaking the game as it was coded in an old, old version of actionscript. Please fix this. I'm tired of leaving my room up in the open just so my friends can see it but others entering and being disrespectful and doing so on daily basis. I know this is a long time ago but I was wondering why the trophies for Oct and Nov 2014 for fishing was never given out
and also there are no record of the Top Fishers during those months too. Why is that? This was due to a glitch when the trophies were being granted. We're still trying to figure out if it's possible to recover the records from those two months. The password rooms for Gaia Fishing have been broken for over a month now. I wish you guys would fix this. For the past week, I have been constantly harassed in my own room especially by this one guy on my ignore list. I am not getting any help with this issue. Fishing would be enjoyable again if we had password rooms again so I and others can fish with friends without being bullied by others. I understand you have other projects but please fix this. Yes, sorry about that. We really want to get that fixed. Unfortunately it is not a problem that can be resolved easily. We will more than likely not be restocking Flynn's exclusively with rare fish as fish are a way for the fishers on Gaia to earn their gold and enjoy Gaia. March 30th, 2015: bluealaris Nenanah Games Fishing : I was wondering if they ever plan on creating some achievements for fishing. It would be awesome to get fishing related titles, such as "fisherman" "wrangler" "guppy" etc. They could be based off of the amount of fish we have caught, amount of times we have fished or if we catch a rare fish. This would also encourage people to try fishing out since there has been a pretty large decline in fishermen lately. Question is originally by ( Whiskey-Chan ) Ahhhh, yes! We are planning on making some new achievements for Fishing. We're still awaiting some information regarding the October/November trophies and once we have that we'll give them out as soon as possible. Because of how bogged down the fishing system has become, the fish and some game-only components that are required for alchemy are now absolutely unobtainable because of sheer lack of supply. The same goes for a lot of other things used in backwings, such as angelic and nitemare furniture --- weighing more heavily on the angelic furniture side. We won't be releasing fishing items since we are re-making this feature to be not buggy and also adding incentives/new rods/new bait. However we can do Alchemy RIGs that contain other components! I hope wont happen the same as zOMG... right? neutral confused No, fishing won't be taken down while we make alterations and add features. The reason is that we have no influence over Google, they are responsible for the captchas. The captchas in the forum are not compatible with the code in fishing, but fear not, we are planning to give the fishing game some TLC and take care of the "wavy" letter problem once and for all. That's awesome, I'm looking forward to it! Do you have a general idea when that might be or when you are hoping for that to be done by? Sometime this summer.

If not, please at least make a Fishing sticky in forums about harassing users in rooms. I am constantly harassed by people on my ignore list entering my rooms. Reporting doesnt help because my reports are never read. There is no rules set for fishing so users think they can do whatever they want. It would be a helpful feature. Perhaps the game could make collecting Go-Fusion charms easier, and also perhaps give out locked alchemy items so that recipes that require LQI's or old items that don't exist anymore could be filled out. Locked that is to anything but alchemy. I really like alchemy, I just hate not being able to do half of it. As well as with Go-Fusion, I'm too afraid to use any of what I have on me for fear that something better might present itself later. So, could we get a game for helping out with this stuff? Yeah! Dumpster Dive is spammed with Caches over 90% of the time. As well, finding game items that have no value in Dumpster Dive makes the feature almost impossible to enjoy. I'm not sure if there is still a lock on the Dumpster Dive, but am aware you used to not be able to donate items over a certain value. Putting a lock on the Dumpster Dive preventing donations of game items, Aquarium items, zOMG items, and Philosopher Caches would make Dumpster Dive a more viable and enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, Dumpster Dive is literally Gaia's Dumpster- so there will be a variety of unwanted items but the occasional gems make it worthwhile.

Gaia needs a garden simulator where we can just grow the flowers we need. Perhaps part of taking care of them we gotta catch bugs. So we could get our bugs and flowers more easily that way. Flowers and needs some looking into.
