I sent in the email regarding the guild testing site feature thing and I still haven't heard a reply back.
I did this the first day too.

Why did you guys take out the organization from AtS?
Like before if a post was answered it would say "This post has been answered by (Gaia staff insert name) and it provided a link.
Now I have to search through the AtS to find answered posts. It wasn't removed, it stopped working after a site update. We just need to go in and update it so it works again. Zero Omega Th0tday FeaturesI sent my SCAS application on March 20th and still haven't received a definitive answer, yet many of my friends joined the guild days after the staff notice was released. Will I actually still receive a response if I was declined, or did I misunderstand that part? sweatdrop Just wanting to know when I can stop checking my email... As long as you have sent the e-mail with the appropriate subject line and your username, you will receive a reply that lets you know you have been either accepted or rejected.

If it can't/won't be, what would be the best category to place forum-related questions under? We didn't think about it, it's possible we can include it in the future. Thanks for understanding~! heart Zero Omega Lady Saxophone Features/Misc(I'm not asking for myself, but) if you never got a rejection letter after sending in your SCAS application email, does that mean you still have a chance at possibly getting to join SCAS later? Or have you guys already cut off membership for the guild for the time being? You will have the chance to re-apply in the future.

June 1st, 2015: Zero Omega Platonix ForumsWhy did you post the Pre-event thread for next week before you even posted this week's AtS? This is something I've noticed you do over the last several weeks; it leads to people posting questions in the pre-event thread while an AtS is actually active, which just seems incredibly bizarre to me. We do this so that we can get the actual pre-event thread out instead of forgetting to do it. By releasing the pre-event thread first, we guarantee that it gets out because we still have to go back and move the live event thread. Jak Bauer Berreh still waiting for a response about the spoiler button instead of typing it. this is like the fifth time I've asked on ATS. Please see the first page to find out why your question might not have been answered yet... biggrin

We don't have a set date at this point, but sometime in the near future, if you are a SCAS member you will be alerted to a round of testing via a guild announcement. I just want to know are you going to let people know you do not want them in SCAS or just let them wait, and only tell those who got in. We certainly like you, we just don't see an e-mail that you sent to us applying to SCAS. We have also been letting people know when they have not been accepted to SCAS. You will get an e-mail as to whether or not you have been accepted to SCAS as long as you include your username in the e-mail. If you have not included your username in your application e-mail then you will not be getting a reply back. We will post a staff notice when we have gone through all the SCAS application e-mails. I believe I still have copy of it in my sent mail. It was a long time ago now though so I will have to check. I did send with my username all over it, and a nice long letter as to why I wanted to join. So the fact you say you do not see it is odd to say the least. Thank you for letting me know I will fail. And that others you do not include will be notified. Nowhere in my post did I say that you would fail getting into SCAS, nor was it implied that you will fail. We require any Gaian that gets an invitation to SCAS to sign this to help ensure that they do not leak any of the private information that is posted into the guild. People make amazing new idea's for the Loyal shop and they really need to be seen. Also when people make a recolor of things in the Loyal shop inspired by a user, Could they get the credit for the idea and be mentioned? I think this would do a world of good for the shop and for those with the GOLD rather than the cash to spend. We still do comb over the guild for your feedback and suggestions, although we may not necessarily post to the guild itself. We can definitely take into consideration giving a user credit if we create something that we know is unique and not something that had been suggested or thought of before. bluealaris Snow Danger FeaturesDoes ATS really serve a function anymore? We just see answers like "stay tuned" and "we'll see" a lot and none of the things promised ever seem to happen, and most are quickly forgotten about and then ignored when people keep asking about them. Plus, very few questions are ever answered, it seems that all of this could be handled with one small weekly announcement. I try to answer as openly as possible about future updates, a lot of times devs, artists and even I have to have to stay tight-lipped about features. Its not because we don't want to share them- its because we don't want to give false promises about when things are going to be released. A good number of our events have to have excessive bug-fixes, sometimes someone gets sick or something integral to the site breaks and projects get delayed. Personally, I take every suggestion I get and log them, then try to address them throughout the week. Almost all of the Alchemy updates have been inspired by feedback through the ATs as a very small example. I think I get a lot out of hearing feedback from every Gaian, and Ats functions as an open door for anyone to poke us. Also I tend to want to read what everyone else has already said/posted, so that takes a while, but I don't want to ask a question that someone else has already asked so ... Anyways, thank you for your time heart Mmm... I don't think this would probably be happening, ATS actually takes up a large part of our day and that's only one hour. Tuesday has thus far been the best day for us to have multiple staff members around, so I don't see that changing. We only take about five questions from the pre-event thread, and it's usually questions we haven't answered before. Zero Omega sup-qt Featuresyears back, we used to have a page that showed off mailed in art/letters that users sent into gaia. would it be possible to bring this back? Possibly! But we don't get much art or letters in the mail now. :c

What's the staffs' take on being (intentionally) quote-summoned to a thread or specific post? (in regards to Avatar Glitch, quoting the artist who made the item with the filled out form of what's wrong; in other forums, like Q&A/Bug Report or GCD, summoning a staff to answer a question/provide a potentially more elaborate -or at least accepted- explanation) It's up to the individual staff member, some like it, some don't, some don't care. Ultimately it's not the appropriate way to get your concern addressed and you should be doing it through the appropriate channels. There is no guarantee that quote-summoning a staff member is going to get the issue addressed, and some staff members may even ignore it or have their quote notifications turned off. Zero Omega Reginald Orius Misc How many different AtSs can I ask the same question without being banned from AtS? lol You are now banned. But realistically, if we haven't answered your question, it's probably because we don't have an answer for it, are not willing to answer it, or it has already been answered.

There have been a LOT of changes made since its inception, from potion drop rates to skill effects, etc., but your official updates thread doesn't even cover as much as has been announced in the staff alerts (and the staff alerts definitely don't cover everything either). Even if only going forward, it would be really nice to have a single dated log of all the changes and adjustments made - not just mass bug fixes or event updates. Sure, there's a booming community surrounding this game, but it's a little weird to have your userbase discover and spread word of changes in place of the game's developers, yeah? Sorry about that, I've been meaning to keep it more up-to-date. I'll post updates that we are pushing out with more regularity.
