Will Loyal ever get a proper story or background? I'd love to see a plot revolve around him and his shop and possibly even his old circus performers? I'd love to know where he came from, why he does what he does and if that peculiar transparency of his was something he was born with or something that just happened to him. Loyal needs some love~ We currently don't have any plans for a Loyal backstory update, but we may explore his story a bit more in a future CI. March 16th, 2015: milkbun The Iron Magus Manga/Events/ItemsI'm glad that Gaia has chosen to embrace diversity in its “ships” (Cresolae, Lance/Devin, Rosamund Saga, Hoarfrost, etc). However, I feel like some of our other ships have foundered. For instance: When was the last time we got an update on Sam and Liam? Or the Ian/Gino/Sasha love triangle? Can we have some manga, events, or EIs that focus on some of these pairings? Good question! March 30th, 2015: milkbun The Iron Magus Events/MangaI've always thought that Rina and Leon had a cute sibling-like relationship, but are they actually related? If not, how did they meet and become friends? Are they neighbors? Even though they're our two most longstanding NPCs, we know relatively little about them! I'm not the most familiar with the manga but it has never been confirmed if they are or not, they just live in the same town. Rina is an all around friendly person. bluealaris Sheshira EventsAny chances that the Dean will ever open up his academy to host a ball or a gala? I've got my eye to finally catch him and I think the atmosphere of a ball/gala would be supreme (and please let there be lots of cake! And a kickstarter for NPC interaction like the Beach event) That's an excellent idea! I'll be pretty disappointed if it ends without some kind of Team Gaia v Team Nyx forum battle. We shall see. The Airship Saga may be far from over. eek

April 13th, 2015: Finni Ren Orenji Doragon MangaThe Iron Magus and myself seem to have gotten into a bit of a debate about Easter Bunny with the recent mini-comic... with some evidence to back up both sides. Though I must admit he's putting up quite a good argument with lots of good evidence, I still don't fully believe his side to be canon. You might have to keep theorizing. emotion_dowant  Finni minghii mangai just want to say thank you for making the effort of drawing mini-comics for the events we've been having, it's really one of the best things ever ; w ; i'm here wondering now, will there ever be a possibility to have mini-comics based on some daily life of the npcs? at the least the shop ones? it would be really fun to know more about them. i know the artists probably don't have that much time. but if there ever is a window of opportunity, it would be really fun to see more of the NPC's lives illustrated. emo Yes, if there's time, mini-comics featuring shop NPCs would be loved by the staff as well! emotion_kirakira Unfortunately usually it becomes a matter of deciding if we want actual story updates/event mini-comics or these side comics, and not all of the above. There could be links to NPC profiles, links to the manga included in the list, etc. This is a great idea and something we've thought about! Unfortunately a big Gaia NPC-pedia is something that will be more of a long-term project and currently has to remain on the backburner until the art team has a bit more free time. They're still getting settled in, I'm not sure if they're planning on building a spaceship to leave Gaia or collecting parts to create a house or shop! I realize that we have an EI museum, but it... does not work so well. It's glitchy, it lacks such basic features such as the ability to search by item name or view all posts in reference to a particular item, and it seems to think that our oldest EI Report is a chatterbox thread about Runescape. sweatdrop In addition, there's no indication on the items themselves that there is an accompanying story, so many users may be entirely unaware. Are there any plans to make each EI's story + history more accessible? Thank you for the suggestion. I'm burning with curiosity. burning_eyes We did create the survey to help make decisions around which NPCs would get grant items for this month- however we did mix it up to include some lesser-known ones as well. We know, based on what the Zurg say, that "Gaia" refers to the planet we live on, but what's the name of the country we live in? Is it also called "Gaia"? Do countries even exist in Gaia? Does the world of Gaia have states/provinces? Is there a unified world government? Are the towns of Aekea, Durem, Barton, and Isle de Gambino independant city-states? eek What are the political boundaries? This canon is vaguely established- there are definite boundaries between towns, since otherwise it would be impossible to show 'town pride' and each area has specialties and aesthetics that unique. Gaia is the term used for the whole world, although the term Gaia also applies to the conglomeration of densely populated areas in Gambino/Barton/Aekea/Durem, since this is where most Gaian's reside. There are extremely magical and wild areas outside of these towns however, and it makes Cresento and his Airship exploration pretty badass, since one never knows what is out there. milkbun The Muse of Life ArtWill Peyo ever get new shop art? From an in-world perspective, it would be something Johnny had made long ago, but few Gaians knew about until now. I would of asked this question a few weeks ago but, I've been busy and I have also been taking a lot of naps lately around this time. Anyways, I want to get straight to the question and my question is, will the Bunny Rangers be in any more events? As you quite imagine, I am a big fan of the Easter event this year and I think the Bunny Ranger were easily the best part! So, to strength my point, I have personally taken it upon myself to ask other people about what they thought about the event! First, almost everyone commented on how cute the Rangers were! (Seriously great job on their designs! I would hate for it to all go to waste!) Secondly, I heard many positives on the items in the event as many people liked many of the items that were available! Although some people weren't able to get certain items they wanted, there were many good opportunities to get the items and there was a large amount of them! As well as some of the mini-games being a pretty good way of earning some of the items! The forums were also really good as well as there were many fun events and the NPC interactions were well appreciated and there should be more of them! Along with the NPC interacts there's the only negative; the story. I seen many people complain about there not being enough story and I agree, I would of liked to know more about the Rangers as big of a fan as I am of them! So, overall it was a good event and I would love to see the Rangers again so, it's your call! We will have to see, but an informal poll around the tables says "We'd all love to see more bunny rangers!!!" That being said, here's my question: Where do we get the hairdos associated with the Flarn skin? The announcement shows the male base with Flarn's hair but it isn't included with the item! Could the hair for the male and female bases be added as extra poses to the item so we could enjoy our skins with maximum Flarnoicity?

Finni The Iron Magus Items/EventsHi, staff. I greatly enjoyed last month's throwback event. It was fun seeing so many NPCs honored, especially Flarn, a personal favorite of mine. With that said, I was absolutely crushed when the month ended without a Johnny K. Gambino tribute item.I just don't understand. Gambino's influence on Gaia is immeasurable. He kicked off the first anniversary ball. He founded G-Corp, and caused a zombie apocalypse. He hosted the first annual Gaia Olympics. He started the first-ever gold sink, an event to re-build his mansion, and make it stretch toward the sky. We've seen him die and come back; we've seen him fuse with Gino and become a superhero. His scheming brought the Zurg to Gaia, and kicked off the events of zOMG. There has hardly been ANY event or storyline in all of Gaia's history that did not bear his mark in some way, shape, or fashion. Even after his death, he continues to influence the plot. Gino's memories of his father--and the infamous letter--are what led him to become the Titan that he is today, the only one capable of stopping Nyx. So I just want to know why. Why, out of 31 items, was there not one for Johnny K. Gambino, the most powerful man on Gaia? In an event dedicated to the memories we have on this site... why was he left out? Especially when memories are all we have left. Just.... please. Someone explain it to me. Tell me why you did this. sad Unfortunately with only 31 days in the month of May and many, many more NPCs than this, a lot of the NPC choices were by user-voted popularity or a result of requests for items specifically relating to that NPC that have been long-standing. Never fear, we do understand how important of a man Johnny K. Gambino is to the creation of Gaia as we know it to be today, even though he has long since passed. We will have to find some way to pay our tributes on a later date, especially since his one and only heir is currently holding the fate of Gaia in his hands in our storyline...!
