Inventory Arranger Question: Is there any chance someone is working on a code patch to fix to items randomly moving to the end when one is trying to organize their inventory? I've had this problem since the beginning, and it's one of the main reasons why I'm not using the new feature.
This problem should have been fixed with some patches we put in a few weeks ago. If you're still expericing this problem, please post in our iventory bug reports thread with detailed information and ideally a steps to reproduce.

There is an issue with Lowest Buy Prices being inaccurate (not reflecting the actual lowest listing). Some items show a listing available when there is none -- like a ghost listing. This could definitely cause issues with "mispricing" an item, when a seller is unaware of its actual Market Price, and goes by the "lowest buy price" in the pop-up window when selling their item.
So far, I have only seen one thread related to this in the Bug & Glitch forum: here

My question is this: the daily chance video is not working lately. It gives an apology & a chance at some gold, but no videos w/ability to earn GC. So, is this being worked on or a glitch or what? Also, the videos to earn GC are only giving out 1 GC at a time. Usually, the amt of cash given out depends on the length or activities within the short video but now they are all only 1 GC. Also, there are much fewer videos available so is this temporary or being worked on or what? Thank you!

This isn't necessarily a result of the system not working but videos ads not being available at the moment. Unfortunately it just really depends on when you're able to do the video offers and if there are offers available.

Hello there. Many users have noticed that on current profiles, the Wishlist items are not properly aligned with their premium sparkles. (See image in spoiler below)

When items are clicked they lead to the wrong item. For example: If one clicks on the Antipathy in Zait's profile, it leads to the item Neutral Operator. There are also sparkles off by themselves with no item displayed. As one user (ThanatosRising) has stated: "Seems to be an issue caused by Premium Sparkles and Google Chrome. If you turn sparkles off in account settings, it should work in the meantime. Firefox seems to work fine, even with the sparkles turned on."
The above was confirmed by Zeit along with it also being an issue with Opera. So it's an issue with Opera and Chrome. Two browsers. That leads to the question we'd all like to know.
Can you please fix the Premium Sparkles to work on Google Chrome and Opera browser?

For Ex: When I search for a cosplay of Black Butler it says there isn't one unless I change it to Avatars, not Cosplay Avatars, just Avatars. Have there been any problems with the payment page? I purchased 1000 Gaia cash last night and it took the money from my bank account, but it didn't give me the cash or the strawberry penguin cookie. The payment page gave me an error and told me to check with Paypal, even though I didn't pay with Paypal, but just entered by Visa debit info, like usual. I filed a ticket last night and am still waiting for a response, but was wondering if this is a problem that is known about and affecting others, too.
We do know that there seem to be some issues with the receiving Gaia Cash for some payments and we've been thoroughly investigating this and think we may have a fix for it coming up in the near future. I also do see that your ticket was replied to this afternoon, be sure to check your e-mail for ticket updates!

Question: There are some weird things going on with the Marketplace and listings. Basically, it lists a higher or lower price on the search page, than is the actual lowest price. It is being replicated in the Notices on the My Gaia page - with notices for items that have no listings or at vastly different prices. (And these are items that have not been sold in the time between the notice and going to the item in the marketplace.) There are occasionally items listed for sale but are already off the market (having been sold or expired) - when you click to buy, it gives you an error. I know some of this has been looked at over the past few months, but it still seems to be happening. Is there a way to fix this? It makes buying and selling a bit complicated sometimes...thank you!
Finally, I really enjoyed the Christmas items this year - thank you to the artists!

Is there a possibility of dedicating a larger team to fixing item glitches...
I get that some are complex and may not be able to be fixed, but some are as simple as the wrong colour shown with a recolour like in the Briar Rose Sangre front facing pose on female base. Its just the wrong colour so those things should realistically be an easy or at least a possible fix!

Due to the volume of items and the way that our database works, it's unfortunately very difficult to get to all the bug fixes quickly or dedicate artists to work on bug-fixes full time. Given that the number of recolors that Gaia has been making and releasing has been much more rapid, these glitches start stacking and we understand there's a backlog of bugs to get to, and I apologize and understand that waiting for things to be fixed is very frustrating. The artist who created the item is in charge of their own bug fixes, but we've been trying to establish a better system of expediting these bug fix requests along to their respective artists.
I hope this tiny bunny resting in a fluffy house will help you pass the time as you wait for your item glitch report to be addressed!

Lately in the Daily GC Videos, whenever you get a McDonald's one, you spend 5 minutes watching the thing, pick a card and yet get nothing. Is there some way to fix this, that doesn't require me to file many many many tickets about it?? It is annoying to spend 6 minutes watching a video, that you can't run in the background and do something else, and get nothing in return for it. Especially since this has been going on since the month became Feb.
Unfortunately situations like this are generally a result of something occurring with the offer partner not granting the Gaia Cash. There isn't too much we can do in this situation and ultimately the best solution is to file a ticket so that we can investigate and grant you your Gaia Cash.

This is something they seriously need to address, none of this non answer "Welp, sometimes our sponsors don't have any offers" I was given last time.
So, for the past two or so months, the Cash Grants have almost never provided any chances to get GCash, only a bit of gold. Except for this one ad, which as you'll soon see might as well not bother.
As you can see, there's this weird thing going on where the video doubles over, making it so you can't claim your GCash since it reads it as you not completing what the ad asks you to do (seemingly because it wants you to interact with the bottom, cut off one you can't interact with).
The other times when an ad shows up, you see the loading screen for an ad for about a second before it disappears, leaving you with a gold grant because 'there's no sponsor offer'.
This is a whole lot of bull, especially since Gaia so heavily pushes the need for GCash to get and do anything.
Fix this, and give an actual answer as to why this is happening and going so long without any resolution.

Ever since the Flash maintenance on February 10th, Gaia Fishing has encountered a glitch. We can no longer have password rooms. We can make them passworded rooms but the rooms would show up as public to others so anyone can join. We either have to have public rooms or lock it/hide it so we wouldn't be bothered. Locking rooms with people in it has a risk of you disconnecting and not able to reenter your own room.

I noticed that usually it's the person who makes the item that fixes it's glitches, but since it's such an old item and mods came way later then it's release, it has been ignored by artists replying to the thread, maybe for not having the authority to fix it.
It's a classic and expensive item, that has even been to the cash shop recently (not cheap at all!) it should be working perfectly.
So many items get into the system everyday and the glitch report thread is so overlooked that it`s a good reminder to say: quality over quantity!
We've been quite aware of the various DJ glitches, such as the one you mentioned and also the issue with it glitching behind strands of hairs that have pieces that fall in front of the shoulders. Since there's a ton of different headphones and DJ recolors that have the same layering issues, a change in layering would result in changing a large number of items in which people have become accustomed to the way the item layers. It becomes a tender balance of glitch fixing in a way where the most amount of people benefit, and at this time we are not changing the way the DJs layer. This may be revisited in the future. However, I will make sure to pass onto the team to make sure that future headphone items that look and function like DJs don't have this problem. Thanks!

This is the last of my Loyal’s Bazaar questions for the night, I promise. As one of the two users who usually posts in the Bug Reports forum regarding the recently announced ticket solution to the counter glitch (and thank you very much for making that clear), I’ve recently noticed an increase in the number of users reporting both versions. This strikes me as strange, perhaps because I don’t understand coding, and I can’t help but wonder if the glitch is getting stronger… if this is at all possible. Although it could just be that more people are noticing. Still, I’d rather give people the most up-to-date information when responding to their concerns about this issue.
So the question is: could we please, if at all possible, get an update of some sort on how the fix for this glitch is going?

That seems unfair and unwelcoming to Paw users, which we don't want. They should be just as free to seek achievements in their bases as we are in ours.

There is a glitch when you play a game of Booty Grab where sometimes at the end of the game where it gives to your score, it says you received 500 gold and the owner of the tank also received 500 no matter how much gold you grabbed during the Booty Grab game.

In one glow thread I was in, it was occurring with, I think, two users that posted about it that played the same user's tank. As far as I know, I was the "third" user it affected when I played the same user's tank when I bumped the glow thread. The glitch also occurs randomly as well after you play a game of Booty Grab. But, I found that it is a rare occurrence when the glitch happens.

I heard a couple days ago during the sales of Synchronous LQI items that some people have found an "exploit" where they could buy already sold out items as they are being removed from the shop because they briefly become unlimited. I was just curious if this counts as exploiting a glitch and should we avoid doing so to avoid breaking the TOS?

There's a few weeks that I'm trying to buy Gaia Cash by mobile payments, and it's not working... Is it from the provider of the server or from the site itself?
This is something you'll definitely want to contact our payment provider, Boku, about. They are the ones that actually process the payment and usually when there is an error, it is something on their end between your phone company and them. You can contact Boku support here.

That's a known issue, occurs usually on a very wide screen or on computers with very high resolution.
Achievements I got married, and I still have yet to get the achievement yet my other account has and this one has been married longer. I filled out a ticket already, still nothing.

Why can't Animal avatars open aquarium fish drops? The Animal avatars have been out for over a year, yet when I try to open a fish drop, I still get this message:
General Error Could not open this item. Please try again later.
If I switch to a human avatar, I can open them, but they can't be opened while using the Animal base. Why is this? Can it be fixed?

The password rooms for Gaia Fishing have been broken for over a month now. I wish you guys would fix this. For the past week, I have been constantly harassed in my own room especially by this one guy on my ignore list. I am not getting any help with this issue. Fishing would be enjoyable again if we had password rooms again so I and others can fish with friends without being bullied by others. I understand you have other projects but please fix this.

Recently there is a bug pledging the site. Where even if you pay the gaia cash needed to have ads disabled...they still show up. some of these ads are really really bad and lag out and crash the site. I've reported this in the Bug Report forum. I have two questions related to this issue. 1. Can you provide any updates or reason as to why this happened and what your doing to fix it? 2. Due to the fact this issue effect users who paid your site real money will there be some form of refund or maybe adding more days to the blocking of the ads for those effect?
We are aware of this glitch and we're taking a look into what might be causing it. Unfortunately we do not have any updates at this time but when we do we will be posting a staff notice to let you know. As for a refund, we have no plans to compensate for users who have been affected by this as the ability to disable the ads has been a bonus for already spending 250 Gaia Cash on Gaia, usually for a Cash Shop item. As opposed to if we were directly selling the ability to disable ads as a new and separate product other than items.

We really do need more staff interaction in the Item Glitch Reporting Thread. People avoid posting there because they think it's being ignored by staff members, they don't see the point in reporting something since they think it's falling on deaf ears. Can we start making it a thing where people get quoted when their reported glitch is being looked into or at let people know that the staff is aware of the glitch?

Artists will usually post when an issue has been addressed or will tip the OP when something has been fixed. Unfortunately the amount of reposting is actually slowing down our ability to go through the thread and address glitches, which is frustrating for our artists as well. I apologize that sometimes the glitch just isn't fixable or will require longer a longer amount of time to address. I do wish we had a better system but this thread is the best we can do at the moment.
We've been discussing methods that will make this more efficient, since a lot of the reports that are posted are either intentional by design, not considered a glitch, or unfixable. It's a difficult balance!
I know this isn't much but I hope this little bunny is some consolation for your continued patience.

I am a bit frustrated with Loyal's shop. it says we have to log in for so many days then we can access the shop. I have been getting on Gaia every day since Christmas and I am still at 33 days. It is like it is not counting my log in days. Why is that? do I need to go to the shop everyday to count as a log in?gonkscream
Please send a ticket to our customer support team and they should be able to resolve this for you. Some people need to be manually put into Loyal's and you might be one of them. ^ _^

For a while now I've seen a major layering issue with some hairs/wigs & face mods. I don't know all the items but the most common one I see is with the McFly items. If the face is too big it layers over the bangs instead of under. Can you guys fix this? DX I wanted to get the Stare Down item for my mule & I can't because they layer horribly on it. Here's an example.
Unfortunately this is due to some wigs being cut incorrectly during the item production process. There's very little chance that these types of glitches can be fixed due to the intense amount of time needed to completely redo the wig, but we have addressed these types of items to be cut more properly to accommodate face mods in the future. I apologize, I know this type of glitch is extremely frustrating and it's frustrating on our end too! I think this particular hair you are referring to may be able to have a quick-fix so I'll look into it for you after ATS.

I like that we can visit zOMG locations, but I've noticed at least for me, visiting some of these areas does weird things to my avatar's size. For instance, if I go to Zen Gardens.
My avatar starts out like this. A bit smaller than it was in the original game, but okay. However, if I move down to the next screen...
My avatar is considerably smaller, when there shouldn't be any change at all. If I move down once more...
My avatar goes back to the previous size. Things get even weirder when I go into the secret room in the bell.
Whoa. I'm minuscule and the screen is all shrunk too.

Items, Bug(?) Everytime I sit down and I am wearing a background, it shrinks. Is it supposed to do that and if not, can it be fixed?? Because it is annoying and looks bad. I don't remember it doing that to begin with, when backgrounds first started coming out, but now it does.
It's supposed to do that. I'm not sure when it started but it's working as intended.

Is the staff still working on a fix for the way Loyal's Bazaar admission is calculated? I've been repeatedly barred out because Gaia is my homepage and I can continuous log in selected, yet I am on Gaia every single day. I would love to get back into the shop to buy some times without having to worry about whether or not my days are being 'counted'. Getting the consecutive online days achievement years ago was of no issue.
We are in the process of re-doing Loyal's admission requirements since there have been so many issues around it. In the mean time, you can file a ticket with our CS team and they can manually place you into the store membership.

Hey ^^ First off I wanted to say thanks for the event! I think this is my favorite one in a long while =D Special shout out to Codemonkey for the space jump game. That game is seriously addicting and it would be super cool to have more skill based (rather than luck based) games in the future.
Now for the actual question: What's with the achievement point disparities for the damage point achievements for the Easter event? It goes from 100 achievement points for 500 damage points to 250 achievement points for 1,000 damage points to only 50 points for 1,500. The 2,000 damage point is also only 50 achievement points =O Why was there a sudden decrease in achievement points even though the 1,500 and 2,000 damage points take a considerable amount of time to reach?

Wasn't sure how to label it. ANYWAY...
There is a glitch, if you have a mod move a thread that you made it counts as a warning. So basically if I have a mod move a thread from the testing forum to another are of the site it counts as a warning.
There is a sticky about it here. I was wondering when you will start working on a fix for this glitch?
This glitch makes it a pain for those that want to apply and it puts a strain on the mod team because you have to be added to a queue to reviewed before you're given the OK to apply. If the glitch was fixed mods wouldn't have to review accounts and they would have more time to work through the reports that have been sent it.

When I click on an Ad Grant I get the page that says a gift was added to my inventory but when I check the special tab it's not there.

Astras and Grombie skins do not like eachother if I animate anything with my grombie skin my whole avatar becomes distorted and pixelated. Is it possible to update the skin so it will equip with astras?

Its still in progress, but its basically a mechanic that makes it much easier to track when a user is logging in daily and also allows them a grace period if they have a disaster that prevents them from being on Gaia for a set amount of time.

None of the Neck Ribbons from Ruby's Rack will equip with any of the Summer or Winter Serafuku Shirts from H & R Wesley, so my question is: can we get this fixed?
My best friend has been posting in the item glitch thread about this for forever, until someone told her that the thread was not for admin-made items, but for user-made items instead. The problem is that they unequip one another.

This more of a bug really than a question. Leviathan's Rampage was accidentally leaked last week and fix was put in place to "remove" it. But it has created a different problem. New items, today for example, the body pillows released in Loyal's are showing up like this: http://www.gaiaonline.com/marketplace/itemdetail/10145359/
Deliberate or faulty?
This is a temporary situation to prevent leakage; unfortunately it means that for the time being, a staff member has to manually tag each item as released when everything comes out, and sometimes not everything gets caught. If you see something that has been released that has this tag, please post about it in SF! Someone will turn it on so that you can see it in the marketplace. We should have a more permanent solution soon.
P.S. This item should be fixed now for viewing on the Marketplace!

Items have been breaking a LOT lately. Random poses will show up as 'not released', and putting on the item will almost completely disable the dress up room. The thing is, these are items that have been out for some time now! A few that I personally own that have suffered from this are Nessie's Astute Face and the yellow Loyal's Rose Bride recolor that came out, the name evades me. Also the black Holy Flower recolor suffers this in spades.
Will and can anything be done to fix this item breakage? sweatdrop It's kind of putting a dent in a lot of people's ability to make avatars when items at random points seem to just... BREAK.
Edit: And yes it's random to me because there's literally no rhyme or reason to the item breakage. One day they'll work fine and the next they won't.

We've been doing a lot of bug fixing and tweaks on the back end for our item database, which is unfortunately causing some of our items to randomly break and we actually can't predict or know when or what item this happens to as well. If you see this, go ahead and make a thread or a post on Site Feedback and someone should be able to fix or address the problem as soon as possible. I'm really sorry for this inconvenience but when everything is fixed (which should be by the end of the week), it'll make for a smoother item database! Thanks for your patience in the meantime.

REGARDING THE INCORRECTLY NUMBERED SDPLUS DOLLS
there are currently several with duplicate numbers including:
x2 sdplus 548 (zettie and kintaro the shiba inu) x2 sdplus 549 (boa and alicorn george) x2 sdplus 552 (jaeger and spencer)
also x2 sdplus 553 but one is an animal doll so I can see how that miiight have been done on purpose, but I still think it's incredibly lazy to make this mistake several times when allll the years until now dolls have never shared a number...
if they are going to share a number from now on, what is even the point in numbering them then?
I've noticed that there's nothing for 545, so I'm guessing you meant zettie or kintaro to be 545 and just didn't remember to allow for the others at all in the count?

Are measures being taken to ensure we don't get a repeat of the debacle from the last Loyal's Gate? Maybe treating the donors' gates like advanced chances so they can open them before they're officially released in the shop might keep traffic down a bit and give people a better reason to sink their gold. And adding a ten second breathing period between openings like with the Convert-O-Matic might help as well.
The Gate fiasco shouldn't be repeated due to the number of gates being granted through the Kickstarter is significantly lower. 3nodding
Waaaaaay back at the first AtS, I asked about the glitched NPC Alien_UFO accounts from the Zurg event, and was told that they would be fixed. However, they have still not been repaired. What's the status on that project?

Unwavering Shade of a Beast has the ** not released ** glitch on the last pose. I think a few other items in my inventory had this issue too, but I can't seem to find them. Is there anything that users can do to help with these glitched poses, other than reporting in the item glitch thread in SF? i.e. would listing the item in the marketplace help, or something like that?
Right now we have no better way of being alerted and fixing these things than checking SF! crying Maybe an official thread specifically for **not released** glitches might help? I've asked Zero Omega to set one up after ATS!
This is something that should be seen much less frequently in the next week or so; please be patient with us while we maneuver around the changes in the Gaia item database back end!

Some of the Loyal's Bazaar limited quantity items did not stay limited quantity. For instance, Obscure Mysterious Mercenary Locks got put back into the store when they sold out, and were there for I think a week or two before I saw them pulled. Now the price is plummeted, I'd be better off selling it back to the shops than trying to sell in the marketplace.
What was the purpose/intent of doing this?
This is a glitch with Loyal's Bazaar where once an LQI sells out it will stay within the shop, however, if a user tries to buy the items nothing will actually happen. This is a glitch that we know about and that we will be addressing.

Question; When posting in the Items Glitch thread, it grows rather disheartening when your report isn't touched I know only the artist who worked on an item can fix a glitch, and I know artists are busy, but perhaps if they see someone post a glitch and they know the artist no longer works for Gaia, they could say something?
This isn't so much a question as a request, but I still wanted to bring it up It would greatly help the outlook people have when posting a glitch, to know it was seen but unable to be worked on or something -still sobbing over princesse glitch-
If the original artist isn't around anymore, we try to forward the item glitch onto a senior artist who can help out. Sometimes the glitch reported can't be fixed or is intentional. Which glitch report are you referring to? Please feel free to leave me a message on my profile page. It might've been addressed already and gotten buried in the thread. crying

Items With TekTek gone, I found it very helpful to try to look at an item's realease date to help me find where it came from. A lot of stuff is cheaper from bundles, tier packages, or whatnot so knowing where something came from can save a lot of money. My question is why are so many of the dates wrong? I don't mean off by a day or two, I mean anywhere from a few year off to items that apparently come to us from 1,000 years in the future.
It's not a occasional 'whoops' or anything either. It's very common and happening with increasing regularity. Just looking at the first few rows of a friend's wishlist and about 40% of the items have release dates I know are wrong because they haven't happened yet. I have no idea about the accuracy of the ones with plausible dates.
We had to use a work around method of adjusting the dates of some cash shop items for a few months. Luckily the dev team was able to work this bug out and items no longer have to come from the future. I know there were quite a lot! If you or anyone would like to compile a list of items in Site Feedback we can adjust them.
I can sure try, but what information do you need? Do you just need a list of items that are off, or do I have to know when they were really released?

Feature You've recently added the open next feature to Caches and the Ye Olde Trunk of Forgotten Things.
When you reach the last one it gives you the 'go to shop' button. This links by default to the Cash Shop. If I accidentally click it, I think have to wait for it to give me a pop up saying 'this item doesn't exist' before I can close the window.
Any chance this could be addressed (either by correct linking or not making me wait for the pop up)?
I have noticed in the items glitch report forum that not many people are there helping to fix glitches. I have seen a lot of people repost the same problem and it seems they are either not acknowledged or seem to be completely ignored. Is there any way this could be improved?
Our artists do their best to keep up with the glitch report thread and fix glitches where appropriate. However, some glitches reported are actually intended by design or not considered a glitch, and will not be fixed. Other glitches require significant amounts of recreating the item in order to work properly, and will have to be more of a long term project. Many of these glitches are responded to the first time it is addressed, and will not be responded to individually each time that the glitch is rediscovered. Please feel free to read through the thread to see if an artist has already addressed the problem youa re experiencing. The amount of users reposting or using the thread for chatter clutters the thread and makes it more difficult for artists to see problems, however, it is combed through regularly and the fixable glitches are passed on. At the moment, we do not have any way to improve the glitch report system without a huge overhaul to a more efficient reporting system, and we currently do not have resources or manpower to dedicate specialized individuals to sift through glitch reports or build a new help center. Our deepest apologies for these inconveniences.

I just had my user recolor "tryxachu" released. It seems as if the "I am Tryxachu" pose is glitches and appears as grunny when moving, is there something the staff at Gaia Online can do to fix this for me?

Way back in early December 2014 many users experienced a phenomenon known as the serial_not_in_owner_location bug/glitch which caused issues that includes one or more of the below:
Causes gifts to lose its ability to be opened. ← I believe this one was fixed. Causes a trade to lose its ability to be successfully completed. Causes items in marketplace shops to lose their ability to be purchased. Causes the items above to disappear and never return to inventory once it expires. Causes some avatars not to be able to dress and save.
Tickets were filed, some tickets were cancelled by CSRs [which caused the users to have to reopen them or just give up trying], no resolve has been found, and tickets are still untouched. This issue has been brought up in the appropriate place and overlooked for months. With June fast approaching and this issue having been consistent since early December, it feels under rug swept. I am now seeing new cases of it being reported in the Bug Report & Technical Support forum. Can those afflicted please get an update of the status of the issue? The bug is a very severe hindrance and we have been waiting very patiently on an announcement concerning the issue for half a year. Thank you for taking the time to read [and hopefully] respond.
These are not being swept under the rug but I understand it is taking much to much time to get it fixed. For those who submitted tickets and had them closed and the isue still unresolved.
