"Ugh! God damn it! I really didn't need to know that!" Fangite groaned, trying to shove the smaller man off. There were now horrible, horrible images playing in his head and Fangite found he wasn't sure which was worse. Those or the apparent 'memories' he had received. "You're an a**." The teen whined. He blinked slowly when Kerberos leaned forward. "...Oi what are you do-" Oh. Surprisingly, Fangite didn't do anything. There was no frantic shuffling about, or cursing or anything. He just laid there in relative silence. "...Just this once." It was okay just this once. It was not okay though, and they both knew that. Fangite had Natron, and Kerberos had Luka. So then why were they allowing this to happen? All because Fang could tell Kerberos needed this more then he was letting on. He could tell in the way the senshi's hands curled into his uniform. By the way he had flinched earlier due to his name. If he was careful enough, he could feel the slightest tremors coming from the senshi. "It's okay." He promised softly. "Everything's gonna be okay." Fangite wouldn't anything happen to his friend. "I'm not gonna go anywhere. I'm still me." The man added, remembering how Kerberos had commented on how he was still Fangite. Had he know? Had Kerberos seen him as an Order Knight in those memories?

Kerberos considered sitting back for a moment, but instead, he rested his forehead on Fangite's chest. It was comforting just to have him there, alive, because he had been disturbingly absent from whatever that strange rush of memories and nightmares was.
"I didn't know what happened to you," he said, softly. "I can't...remember seeing you, or Gabriel, so I thought that maybe I'd..." He swallowed, and couldn't quite make himself talk anymore. He thought that in the swath of terrible things he'd done, before and after Ascension, he might have hurt Des, or Gabriel, or both. Killed them, maybe, it seemed horrifically likely with everything else.
"I'm just glad you're okay."

"...I went rogue..." He said after a long moment of silence, his arm once again around Kerberos' shoulder. "I wasn't talking to anyone, both order or chaos, for a long time... Until I eventually purified." He mumbled. "I got tired of hurting I guess. Gabriel had disappeared and you were essentially..." Fangite sighed. There was no real way around it. When Kerberos ascended, Alex had died. "I'd lost you too at that point. So I figured that was a sure fire way to atleast, lessen it." "I lost my civilian memories. So I forgot Gabriel." Which at the time had been perfect cause that was exactly what he wanted. "But at the same time I also forgot you." His arm moved from Kerberos' shoulder to his mid back, where he slowly began to rub small circles into the fabric. "You.. actually might have seen me after that." His memories were fuzzy, but he could just barely remember the blue haired senshi. "There was that attack, on the order camp? ...I died there." Fangite muttered softly. "It wasn't you. You didn't do it."

Kerberos let out a breath he hadn't realized he was holding. "Oh thank God," he said, but he didn't move from his position. The gentle, comforting touches were too good to resist. "I thought...I thought I'd killed you. I did a lot of...really awful things." He didn't want to put a name to it, but he'd been a monster. Maybe already was, maybe was already inevitably heading down that road.
"I...no, I know it wasn't me, not if it was then. Too busy murdering other people." There was a dryness to his voice. "I drained a girl to death. A Knight. Just...sucked the life right out of her like some kind of ******** energy vampire."

"It wasn't you. It was Bischofite... Not you." He promised. "Guess who pissed him off, again." Fangite deadpanned. "She's alright.." The teen murured gently. She was probably just as shaken as they were, but she had to be okay. "That's part of the job... Unfortunately. I don't like it anymore then you do but it's something we have to do." The lieutenant sighed as he tightened his grip on Kerberos before rolling the pair over on to their side. "...Spend the night." He said softly, a not-quite-a-demand demand. "You'll be over tomorrow anyway.." Fangite said as he reached up to disentangle the Laurels from Kerberos' hair. That probably had to be a b***h to lay on anyway. The teen then stretched up and placed a soft kiss against the senshi's forehead before hugging him to his shoulder. "We can keep an eye on each other. We'll all crash on the couch and watch movies or something." Hell, they could all just sit in silence on the couch. It didn't matter.

Kerberos shook his head. "There's a big difference from nicking a little energy off a civilian and literally sucking every bit of life out of someone in one cascading go, Fangite, and you know it." He said, and he wanted to flinch away from the kiss to his forehead - so near to the hole, there - but it was Fangite, and he couldn't. He'd closed off too much already.
"I'll believe she's okay when I see her," he mumbled, and then sighed. "You're dragging me over regardless of what I say, aren't you? Fine, it'll be nice. Sure Gabriel will be okay with it?"

"You're arguing technicalities at this point. You knew what I meant..." He sighed. "Draining people is part of the job... As weird as it sounds.. You were doing that job. He reached up again, gently running his fingers over the cracks that splintered out of the hole. Part of him wasn't surprised when the skin actually felt like cracks, yet another part of him was. He pulled his hand back equally as slowly, turning it over as if he was expecting to see shards of something against his fingertips. "...No." He said slowly, as he began to come back to his senses. "I just know, that even after you tell me no. You'll show up at my door a few hours from now looking like a kicked puppy. I think Gabriel will be down for it. I think he's down for just about anything that doesn't involve me having a panic attack. Red paint looks strangely like blood by the way."

Kerberos did flinch, that time, when Fangite's fingers ran over the cracks around the hole in his forehead. He closed his eyes, gritting his teeth. "Please don't do that," he said, his voice quiet.
"And don't tell me that. I didn't bleed, god, being Ascended is creepy. Promise me you won't let me actually do that. And let's go back to your place before one of us makes another dumb decision, we're clearly not getting anything else done on the punching-each-other front."

"It's just me.. Relax. I'm sorry." He said, pulling Kerberos against him. "I figured that was better then feeling around on your chest." Fangite shook his head, once again rubbing at the senshi's back. "I'm not going to let that happen to you. I won't let any of what happened happen to you." Fangite snorted lightly, looking down at Kerberos. "Right, because going to my place has totally stopped you from making dumb decisions before. Yeah, okay." He snorted lightly as he pulled himself from the other and moved to stand. He stopped however, in a kneeling position as he glanced back at the senshi. "...Want a ride?"

"It wouldn't have made a difference, chest or forehead," Kerbero said, "just...don't touch the holes, okay?" He asked. Right then, thinking about the cracks and breaking points he already had just made him think about the ones he'd had in the terrible future.
"Your boyfriend will stop me from the kinds of terrible decisions I'm considering," he muttered under his breath, barely audible even to himself, and then he grinned, bending over to position himself for a prope piggyback ride. "Aw, looking out for me and my bare feet, how sweet of you," he said. "How could I ever turn that down?"

"I won't touch the holes. Not even exactly sure why I did that to begin with so..." Fangite shrugged. "Because people at my place has stopped you from trying before." He commented. It was cute how Kerb thought Fang wouldn't hear him. Dumbass. The Lieutenant snorted as he started for home. "I don't give a damn about your feet." Hell, Fangite had just now realized Kerberos was in fact, bare foot. ...Mostly. "Now shut up before I drop your a**."
