Tuck finally fell asleep, snoring softly. Exhaustion was etched in every line of his face, but he looked relaxed -- and thankfully, it was a blissfully dreamless sleep.

He would remain sleeping for as long as Heidi let him.

She heard the snores and was so relieved by it. Heidi sighed softly and finally closed her eyes, kissing Tuck's collar and settling comfortably against him.

Try as she might, Heidi couldn't fight against the desire to sleep for very long. It took her some time but she did eventually fall asleep. She refused to let him go, instead naturally tangling herself up with him as she was accustomed to, sleeping heavily in his arms.
