Des wrapped his arms around Gabriel, holding him close. "I'm not gonna let you go anywhere..." The teen just swallowed thickly, trying to calm his nerves as he slowly glanced about the room. "We can stay down here tonight... I don't feel up for moving anymore." There were no blankets or pillows (aside from the throws on the couch) this time, surprisingly. They'd be cold tonight, but he was willing to put up with it for a night.

Gabriel nodded, and then lifted his head out of Des's chest, moving his hand so it rested on the other man's cheek. He brushed his thumb over it, and smiled faintly. "Not moving sounds nice," he agreed.
It felt like having Des back, even though he had never lost him. The crash of memories had been terrifying, and he was still a little afraid that what he'd seen was somehow real. "Let's...maybe get you out of the paint-covered clothes, first, though."

Des sighed, before fighting with his shirts as he pulled them over his head, Stupid layers. Maybe he wouldn't wear two shirts over each other anymore. He shook his head lightly, in an attempt to straighten out his hair as he pitched the stained clothes across the room. "Done. Like I said... Not moving." He groaned as he sunk back into the couch.

Gabriel shifted just enouh to give Des room to get his shirts off, and then he lay down halfway on top of the purple-haired man, tucking his head under Des's chin. His fingers delicately ran over bare skin, tracing nonsense patterns, a reassurance that this world was real and the terrible future was not.
"No more moving," he agreed. "Just sleep."
