Kairatos looked to Hvergelmer again as she accepted the ring, and heaved an profound sigh, and moved to retrieve one of the devices for himself, as he had not already done so.
"I hope Hvergelmer is right, and that we'll be able to use these to save lives." He noted, a bit crisply.
No doubt the people of Mistral would be proud... of her body count, and Hvergelmer was sweet and forgiving... but he wasn't as good at it, and right now he was at the extent to which he could forgive.
There wasn't and bizarre 'Love pollen' here.

Niflhel stood there, somewhere in the back of the room in the shadows watching. Listening. Waiting. The code had brought him here, he was more than willing to come. While the deaths were unneeded, he knew that they wouldn't ever be made up for, nor excused in most people's eyes.
However, still, things happened for a reason. He fully believed that and if they were meant to go, then that was it. Had they not, they wouldn't've right? He didn't speak any of his thoughts or ideas on the matter, he only stood there waiting and watching.
As Mistral said she fixed the device he nodded softly. Good, something positive did come form it after all. When he felt he was able, without intrusion of others the young man walked forward and took a device piece for himself. Looking at it, and turning it over. He nodded softly to Mistral before leaning and whispering where only she could here, "Weep not, know they are with the Cauldron. Remember them, do them well, do us proud. But time for despair is over, use that energy that resides in sadness, put it to use. Let them inspire you do to greater things still. Prove to those that doubt you are better than what they cannot see past."
When he was finished, he placed a firm hand on her shoulder giving a soft squeeze of appreciation and then straightened up and walked away playing with adjusting the new piece onto his own ring. Honey Brown eyes glancing over to Sarras in a stern but unreadable gaze. Niflhel didn't approve of his tone, however the knights were free to express their ideas. "If it allows us to communicate faster and even possibly with senshi. Then at least to me, it is worth something." He said as he found a new place among the shadows to lean and watch. The deaths were still on his mind but he'd seen far worse, been through possibly even worse that he could not remember.Buyan still did not have her ring and she stood there looking at the rest of them. Oh, maybe she should've found it by now. The page frowned as she looked around softly and scratched the back of her head a little. Before finally speaking up in a squeak. "Uh. . . what about those of us who. . . uhhh . . . still don't have our rings yet?"
Really she just hadn't gotten around to finding it yet. . . though that little expansion pack seemed really nice. What if she lost it though, Buyan's seemed to quiver at a little at the thought, though no one really knew what was on the older pages mind.

He'd felt the call and answered it, felt himself become Ashur and be transported to a familiar place among familiar faces. The squire allowed his gaze to circle and fall on each of his comrade's faces, unsure what to make of the situation when his gaze finally rested on Mistral. He took his place near the back and leaned against the wall, silent as events unfolded. Although he'd been among those fortunate enough to not have experienced the traumatic deaths on Mistral, he felt the heavy atmosphere in the room. Unsurprisingly, he didn't much enjoy it. But he kept his mouth shut and he stayed in the back, listened to Mistral apologize and only moved slightly forward when she presented the finished product that she'd been working on.
When most of the others had taken theirs he followed suit and picked up one for himself, nodding his thanks before going back to the back of the group. He'd never been great at comforting anyone, particularly those he wasn't too familiar with. He figured she'd probably heard it all anyway, and in all honesty he wasn't sure if these things were worth the lives lost so what came out would likely have been more insincere than anything.
Ash sighed lightly as he slipped the piece onto his ring and tried to get it to fit right. He looked toward Niflhel and nodded slightly in agreement. "Yeah, long as they work then I'd say there's a little bit of good that came out of it," he said with an unsure sort of frown. "I mean, at least it's something that could be useful for something in the future." His gaze moved to Mistral and then to the Code very briefly before he went silent again, wondering if it had anything else to say on the matter.

"You're free to leave," said Mistral, stiffly. "Whenever you like." She looked to Buyan. "I'll hold on to yours for you. If you like, I'll help you get your ring... as much as I can..." To Niflhel, she said, "You may communicate with senshi. I've tested it. It works." She sighed. "Thank you for coming. And for your help." Mistral's response annoyed him in a way, but he wasn't going to gripe. He had heard Nihfel's input and cared little for both what he had to say and the knight himself, and he kept such bitter thoughts and retaliations in his own head.
The moment Mistral said he was free to leave, Sarras was gone. He gave Falias a nod, and just like that, the Cosmos squire was gone. With any luck, he'd still be able to hunt down that Negaverse general's trail and this night would not have been a total waste of his time.

A Cosmos Squire had stepped forward after him (Hvergelmir), had asked them not to forget that the devices would help save lives too and the Saturn Knight, Niflhel, that had stepped forward after the Mars Knight had commented that if the upgrade allowed faster communication and the potential to communicate with senshi then at least for him it would be worth it.
Maybe it was for them, but he was still not convinced, was still unable to move past the deaths that had bought this upgrade.
There was nothing left to say however and so once he heard Mistral say stiffly that they were free to go, in answer to Sarras' query about whether they could go he had nodded to Sarras in turn and then faded from view himself.
