“Damn” was the surprised reply. “Ah…wow, better.” He admitted and then frowned slightly. “What about you, you alright?” Ever didn’t exactly look like he’d been ‘obliterated’ but he definitely didn’t look like he was doing quite as well as before. and be blue Giving Ever a little breather at least

Ever blinked at him, and then his expression went less focused, probing at the edges of his shield and the damage like a loose tooth. After a moment he shrugged, eyes resettling on Zac and that smile flashing back across his face. "I could take ten more of those." Exaggerating, but still. He shrugged, head cocked to the side. "Or was that all you needed...?"

Zac shrugged. “We can keep going, see how many hits you can take…. Kind of like that end table.” He arched his eyebrows and gave a slightly cheesy smile. “I mean, if you can take it. Practice and all, people keep telling me missing means I need more.”

Another of those pauses, Ever's head cocked. Poking at it again. Consulting, maybe, with his weapon. "...up to you." It was more serious, mostly because it was still distracted, his eyes somewhat different. "If you need it, I can help out."

Zac waited for a moment before checking, just because he talked to his own weapon didn’t mean it was any less strange to actually see someone else doing it. “You alright? I mean… I’d kind of like to keep going but, if you’re already tired or what have you.”
