My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Sister Race (first choice): regular draft Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Regular non draft What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Part of his blue flame Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Illuminatus walked up the hill that lead to the overhang. From this very spot his mother and father had come wishing for children. They wrre granted that wish twice. And Illumi knew it was probably selfish of him but he looked up at the dark sky with his green eyes The Wishing Star shining brightly. Taking in a deep breath he lowered his head, placing his lantern on the ground and popping open the case he inserted a piece of bark. When it ignited the dancing flame was light blue just like the one that was in side. The stallion placed the flame down in offering to the star. The flame was considered part of a souls being once they obtained it. It was a great deed to leave part of it behind like this. "Wishing Star, I'm here looking for a sister. I know I have two out there but they left with my mother. It feels lonely without a sibling to share with now. And I know father is missing his daughters even more then I miss my sisters. Please Wishing Star. Grant me this wish to help me make my family whole." He lowered his head again in thought and then taking up his lantern gave the Wishing Star one last look before turning to go on his way.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation: Sibling Race: Minicorn/Nymphi cross Race: Nymphi What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A lock of his hair Short IC Response: It almost felt like a betrayal to be standing atop the hill where so many others had come with reverent offerings to this so called powerful 'wishing star'. The mini stallion felt that way because he had been taken in..saved by an amazing family as a basket. Still he felt this sense of loss..of pain..after hearing the story of his tragic start to this world. How the males mother had thrown herself over his tiny basket to protect it from a wildfire. There were no other baskets nearby when Pali was saved by his mother & father. Hiding behind the bone mask he carefully settled within the grass..putting the lock of jet black hair down on an empty spot before speaking. "Wishing Star. I know there might not be a big chance but, perhaps somewhere out there I have a sibling? One who was taken away by my birth father to safety? Or perhaps they were tucked away safely from the forest fire? If they are out there...please let them fine me. Even though I love my family more than anything in this world I'd love to find..someone related to me by blood. Just one blood family member..someone who I can share my sorrows with." Gazing down at the silver heart which hung around his neck he felt glad to have worn the bone skull mask..because soon tears were flowing from Pali's pale eyes. "I know my hair isn't much but, it will be what ties us together! Our hair would have come from the same parents..we are blood. Please help me star..help me find them if they are out there. " Bowing with a moment of silence to compose himself the stallion slowly rose once more, picking his way through the many trinkets and the other soquili murmuring their own heartfelt pleas.

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Hippogryph Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Wind What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of her precious butt feathers. Short IC Response: Ichika was seeing things that she did not think could be seen. She had heard stories of a star that granted wishes. It was a notion that she was having a hard time making logical sense of. Ichika walked into the open and looked up at the star.
"A star that hears must have ears and if it has ears then it must hear and if it can hear then it most certainly has fears and if it has fears then it must certainly understand me." She knew that no one was around, she had checked earlier. Her rambling words still made her a bit self conscious even if there was no one to hear, but she had established that the star could hear already so she was self conscious. It was her discomfort that had driven her to the star. "Hearing star with your fears you better be hearing me because I don't want fears. I have a brother, and I fear he is dead but I know he is not dead. My brother knows me well and as you can tell I am rather...odd. most people don't know because I don't show but I want you to know that I want my brother again to show. He is the only one, he is the only one, he is the only one who is not done with my riddles and the words I have spun."
She turned suddenly and ripped out one of her multi-colored butt feathers and dropped it onto the ground. "This feather is for you because you too understand fear and loneliness." Ichika turned and left. Her butt stung a bit but, it was nothing to the sudden pain of longing that she felt for her brother.

An Extra Gift This is a Self-Pairing! Only Lady Aria Starstone Is Getting a Basket! Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: N/A, all mine and no co-owners Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The last of the reeds she had gathered for the basket of her lost child. Short IC Response: She stared at the reeds at her feet, her eyes filled with sorrow, a sorrow she NEVER would allow sweet Zeldin to see. It was not the child's fault, and Aurianna did not blame her, that she had been stolen to replace the child that was lost. That damn horrible creature... And she thought he'd loved her, and their child. She finally raised her purple eyes up to the stars, brimming with tears. She made a whispered plea, her voice filled with the pain and sorrow she could never escape from. "Oh great power, great Star... Please hear me, and help me... My only child, born to me, was stolen away by his own father... And lost. Please... help me, for I need to heal... bring me a child, a child of my own. Never to replace him, though I wish you could bring me my son himself... But to fill the hole that was ripped into my heart..." She lowered her eyes, and walked slowly away, tears falling as she went. She did not see that one crystalline tear landed on the reeds, dampening the last thing she had that was... in it's way, of that child with the proof of her pain.

A True FriendWho is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself:Blythe was not a brave soquili by any means, but the young Kirisuti stepped from her place with her brother and his mate slowly, letting her twin rest as she trod across the grass, following the solitary bright spot of light above. Her eyes trailed it and she looked down shyly, fidgeting in place as she swallowed. "Please." Blythe's voice was soft and gentle, eyes averted to the soil she trod on as she stood, fidgeting shyly. "Please. I know I don't ask for much, but I';m lonely." The female looked up, eyes locking on the star sadly. "I'm so scared so often... I don't mean to be I care for others, but I'm shy and afraid. Protabello found someone for company, and I'm so scared I'll be alone someday. I know I'm not that special, I know I seem quiet, but please, star..." Blythe swallowed, preparing to cry. "I'm lonely." A simple prayer. That was all she made, and it felt like a lot, the female trembling. Would the star look favorably upon her? Would fate? She didn't know. Couldn't know. Still,a brightly coloured mushroom found itself placed from her back growth on the ground. It wasn't much, but it was a part of her, and slowly the female turned, slipping back to sleep in her space, hoping one day to meet someone kind. 10 Things I Like:Soft things like fluff! Flowers Plants. Lots of plants. Fairies. Humor me okay. XDl; Dwarves. Again... Fantasy elements (Nature crossed with old ruin-y things, talismans and mythical treasures, ETC) Ferrets? Bunnies? An Extra GiftAll Owners Other than Me are Giving Up Basket Eligibility For This Pair! Only Kyrieko Is Getting a Basket!Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: UncertLink to Breeding Permission: [X]Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of the braids from his mane Short IC Response: Tell me a little about your couple. What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask for a basket? For once, he was having a quiet night that didn't involve any lovers or horrendous flirting and general typical behavior for the stallion. No, tonight, he had been staring up at the sky for some time. Watching the glow of the Star he'd heard rumors about. Rumors that claimed if you wished hard enough, it might come true? It was a strange thing, and he could not recall anything of that nature being around in his twin's or his homeland.
"But this is our new home." He mused to himself, a rare bit of hesitation and uncertainty prevailing his thoughts.
Prokaz frowned up at the Star, wondering if he was being a fool. But, that mare, she'd been had some strange effect on him. He didn't know what to really do. Except try and help her in some way. Or, at the very least, attempt to. "You must think me silly!" He grinned up at the bright celestial object. "Me, so off my game, this night." Snorting and pawing lightly at the ground, the stallion made up his mind. "Dear Star... I do not know if I am doing this right? I come from different lands, but I suppose making a wish is the same no matter where you are. Can you help me bring a true smile to a beauties face? I wish to give her a special gift, unlike any other!"
Speaking of gifts... "There is not much I have to offer myself, to you, great Star. But I give you a piece of myself, to judge the truth in my plea." Carefully, he placed one of the braids from his mane - which he'd managed to get cut off with some creative manipulation - upon the a stone he'd set up as a sort of alter, not knowing there where such things already built for just that. "Take this as my promise to you, and to her, that I will give the most special gift to one so deserving." He continued to stare at the stare for a few minutes longer before feeling awkward and deciding he had done what he could.

Only Thalea Is Getting a Basket!Parent 1: Uncert Parent 2: Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: <3Lifemates: Yes What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A frame drum with the Pendragon crest upon it. The drum was a lifemating gift from her mate, King Arthur. Short IC Response: Gwenevere walked silently up the hill, towards the little shrine that the villagers had made to give offerings to the brilliant stars above. And now she too would be one of the many who visited the spot and wished upon the stars. The queen looked up at the vast night sky, she felt small compared to its greatness but yet comforted at the same time. “Star bright, star light, I wish I may and I wish I might, upon the first star I see tonight… I have been blessed with a daughter and a son, both whom I love dearly, but my heart yearns for a daughter not fated to be Queen of this realm. I want to have that bond between mother and daughter, one that can move mountains and face any hardship that may come. So, wonderful, bright, gracious, stars. I leave this frame drum in offering and in thanks. It was a gift given in love and now I give it to you with love.” She bowed her head, “Good night stars and thank you for watching over us who walk upon the earth.”

Parent 1: UncertParent 2: UncertLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: Old, but Dae hasn't been around recently to for new Rps LinkLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: LinkWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Feathers, maybe some of his hair too. Short IC Response: Javan is the outwardly curious cat always sticking his nose where it doesn't belong. It's an innocent curiosity but sometimes he can get into trouble and Grayson is the more serious one, trying to keep the other stallion in one piece. But when they're together, Javan knows how to get Gray to soften up, and they're just adorable, even if a lot of the times Grayson isn't so sure of himself. Grayson is incredibly loyal to Javan, even if they've been separated for long periods of time. Here he was again. Grayson hesitated before going up the hill where he would make another wish upon a star. The reason he was hesitating: greed. He and Javan had been blessed with two beautiful daughters already, and shouldn't that be enough? He loved those girls more than anything and part of him felt like he was betraying them by asking for another child. He could almost hear them now in his head, scolding him for such thoughts and that they would adore another sibling. Perhaps a brother this time. But there was another reason he was hesitating. Javan still wasn't back. He thought another child would bring him back around but he still hadn't met their youngest daughter. Was he just asking for another child to fill the void? With a sigh he headed up the hill. No matter what, nothing bad had ever come of wishing upon this star. It had only brought him and his family joy so there was no harm in trying again, right? He plucked out a few of this feathers and tried to shake out some of his hair since he wasn't sure what else he could give. He gazed up at the sky and made his wish silently in his head. A wish for another beautiful child in their ever growing family. Perhaps a son so the girls will get off my case, he smiled at the thought. "Thank you. For all you've done for us in the past, and for what you may bring in our future."

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Lockes is a perfectionist to a fault, though she'll never admit it herself. She appreciates above-average cleanliness and admires like-minded Soquili who go out of their way to make themselves presentable-beautiful even. To the Soquili who are sloppier than most (this is generally just your average, run-of-the-mill Soquili) she tries to help them fit to her standards. Most times her attempts at helping another don't go very well, and to those Soquili who have refused her care... Well... Their bloody corpse ends up in a ditch somewhere and she soils her pale coat with their blood, having to go through the chore of washing it off. 10 Things I Like: - Dainty or organized appearances - Flowers - Ribbons - Long and/or curly hair - Lace - Pastels - Purple and gold - Clouds - Moon/Stars - Feathered Wings (Lockes has a fascination with them.) 10 Things I Don’t Like: - Bald ponies - Excessive pink - Excessive gore - Neon - Cluttered or messy appearances - Multiple eyes - Paisley - Orange and yellow - Creepy crawlies (bugs, spiders, etc.) - Animal print (leopard, tiger, giraffe, zebra, etc.) What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Lockes takes her blade, recently used on another imperfection, and gritting her teeth together, cuts a lock of her mane off and places it beneath the wishing star. She doesn't notice as she leaves, but there are a few specks of blood that came from the blade onto her golden offering.

Uncert Link to Breeding Permission: [X] Lifemates: No What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A small lock of hair cut from her mane and braided skillfully by her two-legged along with two wild flowers, one white and one blue. Short IC Response: Tonight Blight was alone, her dark sclera making the blue irises seem to glow in the light of the moon. She had heard all about the miracle of the star and how it somehow granted wishes to others in the form of family or children but she hadn't believed in its power, not for one second. Tonight however she was done being a skeptic and was ready to believe that maybe there was some magic in this world. Magic that could give her a second chance at being a mother. Her first brood of children with Svanbjorn had grown up disjointed and odd. One child was a prankster, one was possessive to the point of madness, and the other... The one she had attached to the most of her children had been so protective and loving and kind. That was until the day he dissapeared from her life without a trace. As a colt Skaalbjorn had been everything she could have hoped for in a child and she had been raising him to care about his surroundings and be a knightly sort. Then that... That... Monster absconded with him and taught him what his blood meant. Her baby, her son had turned into a monster himself. Hunting and killing others and believing what he did he did because of his blood and that it was expected of him! Her heart had broken on that day and she left for parts unknown, wandering listlessly and lethargically. She'd had little to no feeling and rarely responded with anything other than sadness. The depression in this mare so fierce that at times she cried herself to sleep. Now she approached the alter below the wishing star and looked up with tear stained cheeks and reddened eyes. She and Svanbjorn, the father of her children, hadn't stayed together once the night was over but she still loved him in her own odd way, and while it was his Kalona blood that had been passed onto her son, the self same blood that had driven him mad she was here to plead with the star for a second chance. One couple she'd met that had been given children by the star had told her to say a couple of words then leave her offering and ask of it her wish, so she repeated the words they'd taught her. "Star light, star bright. Brightest star I see tonight. I wish I may, I wish I might, have this wish I wish tonight..." She carefully sat the braided hair and flowers upon the altar, halfheartedly noticing the other offers and continued, "Please wishing star. Give me just one more chance to do it right...." The brokenhearted mare felt some glimmer of hope as she looked at the offering on the altar. Maybe this was the turning point, even if the star didn't grant her wish. Maybe this would be the reason that she would continue to try instead of just wandering without reason. She thought of her daughters and wondered where they were. The first smile in a long time on her lips she walked into the darkness but not before sparing one last look at the star thanking it silently for giving her hope when she thought none could be found.

A True Friend Who is Wishing?: Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: The angeni stallion slowly climbed up the hillside, his eyes fixed upon the star twinkling warmly overhead. Before cresting the ridge he turned to look back toward the mare he loved, a gentle smile curving his maw before he continued on. Stopping at the very top of the hill he released a quiet sigh. "My mate would think me silly for speaking to a star." He chuckled. "She is adamant that you are purely a ball of burning gas somewhere far far from my reach, but I simply can't accept that. Many times I have looked up and seen a life in the heavens beyond comprehension." He dug his hoof into the soft dirt before shaking his head. "I suppose that is not why I am here though." Clearing his throat he adopted a more sincere expression. "The road I have traveled has not been an easy one by any stretch of the imagination. The parents I never knew were slaughtered by a hideous beast that I had the extreme displeasure of crossing paths with. Don't get me wrong, the family who took me in and cared for me is beyond compare, but there will always be a void in my heart created by a loss I cannot even remember. I was found as a basket, a basket tossed haphazardly to the side to grow or perish in the scent of decay. I was found by a caring family who loves me very much, but even that had it's difficulties. My...uhm..adopted sister always carried within her a darkness that could not be illuminated. She was always so full of hate and malice, though I have no idea how she came to be that way. Our family was always so full of life, dancing along to the sound of the silver bells each of them wore, but not my sister...she did not hear the music. She tricked me into believing that I was unloved, that I was a burden to those around me. I was young and foolish so I did the only thing I could think of...I ran away. I left my mother and father to agonize over my disappearance. I caused them pain, and in so doing fulfilled my sister's dark purpose. Once more my happiness was ruined. It would not come as a shock to me when I later found out that my sister had become a skinwalker. She was always headed down that path, or so it seems to me." Dropping his head he stared at the ground a moment before going on. "Amidst all of the darkness I was able to meet one whom is in possession of my whole heart. My mate Fearthainn has given me two wonderful children, children I was able to raise and teach the ways of honor, responsibility and compassion. I attempted to keep them from becoming so immersed in destruction like I had...I hunted darkness for so long, hoping to kill every last skinwalker. Anyway, they turned out to be wonderful adults. With my mate and children in my life I couldn't possibly wish for more...but..." Once again turning his gaze toward the star he shrugged his shoulders. "A true friend to confide in, to help me to deal with my crazed skinwalker of a sister who still mentally torments me to this day...who wishes to go after my children too...I...I could just use a little help." 10 Things I Like: *Vanilla beans/flowers *Semi-natural coloring *Armor *Ornate designs *The color turquoise *Scars *Unicorn horns *Chains *Elven themed/delicate things *Long hair 10 Things I Don’t Like: *Neon colors ....erm...not much else... What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The large angeni stallion sets a vanilla pod and flower on the ground before him as well as a well crafted arrow. "Even the most delicate of beauties can have their strengths; a rose has thorns, does it not?"

Sakura will leave a lily flower, and Casper a single white feather. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?Casper and Sakura stood side my side, taking comfort from each other's presence, their flanks pressed together. Ever since they had hatched from their baskets, they had been extremely close. But there had been one more member of their litter, Lily, whom they had lost touch with. She had always been the more boisterous of the three, and as soon as their parents had abandoned them she took up a cold mantle and had turned her back upon her siblings. But now was the time to fix that. "Star of Wishes, please bring back our sister." Began Sakura. Casper's voice chimed in, "We know she turned her back to us, but it is time to put the past behind us. We wish to seek her out, please guide her back to us, to her only family." Sakura stepped forwards, setting down their combined offering, "Please, let us put the past behind us."

My Long Lost Family MemberSoquili in search of a relative: Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Younger brother Race (first choice): Cerynei Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Preferably cerynei What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Some fallen leaves she gathered earlier today. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative? Hollie reached the edge of the forest and peeked out from behind an oak tree. The night was cool; it was getting slowly cooler as the leaves started to change colour and begin to fall from the trees. Her green eyes looked around once more for any signs of danger before trotting away from the forest she lived in. She continued trotting until she found a good place to lay down in the meadow. Once settled, Hollie turned her head towards the sky and searched for that bright star she saw once before. Someone she briefly met once had mentioned to her that this particular star could grant wishes. Hollie wasn't sure if she really believed that a star could have this power, but, she wanted to try regardless. "Hello Star. I am Hollie.....ah........." she paused as she considered what to say. "I live in the forest behind me where I tend to it and care for any of the other inhabitants that require help." Nevena never understood why she was so willing to help everyone, especially when she busy with other tasks. It was just the right thing to do. She had always been like that, caring for her mom when she ill and her younger brother...... "Wishing Star, I come to you this autumn night to ask of you........" she paused again, what should she say? "I.....miss my younger brother very much. Before our mom passed on he left home to see the world. I haven't seen him since then. If....if it is within your power.......I would be ever so grateful if I could see my brother again." Hollie closed her eyes tight and whispered her wish again and again. Would three times be suitable? She truly hoped so.
