Release her truly intimidating broom, America kicked at Jordan's leg. The motion would have been much more effective had she not been barefoot due to previous attempts at stealth. Lesson of the day: at least take the boots with you if you remove them. Maybe turn them into some sort of ******** bolo or whatever. Hp: 25 Dmg: 3

The kick itself didn't hurt much, but America letting go of the broom had put Jordan slightly off balance; he stepped back to get his equilibrium. Behind him, unobserved, lay a short section of pipe. He stepped on it. It rolled. There was a thud and a startled curse. Jordan dropped what he was holding with a clatter and scrambled to get up, scowling with embarrassment. Compressing her lips, America did not laugh. They were serious ******** warriors, and this was training for hardasses. This wasn't the time for... Shoulders shaking, she heaved a tire at him and began climbing up increasingly unstable sections of junkwall. America may have snort-laughed during this impressive and action-packed procedure. Several of the auto parts found their mark, and Jordan barely dodged the one that would have smacked right into his head. Jordan, Ferros grumbled. I know, Jordan answered. One more shot, and if she doesn't surrender I will. Judging by the angles the previous salvo had come sailing from, he stalked around the pile as silently as possible, keeping behind cover, and moving only when she wasn't looking once he'd spotted America. When he judged that he'd gotten close enough, he charged, aiming to tackle her. "Your drive is impressive," he panted. HP: 5/50 Dmg: 6

Sitting up with a grin, she rolled her shoulders and looked up at the huge mess they;d made of the place with a sense of satisfaction. "Stryker's pretty happy, he always likes it when I do battle one-liners," America began conversationally as she flopped back against a mound of tires. Plucking a piece of glass from her braid, she tossed it aside, "We should do this more often."

She lifted her fist up for him to bump. "Damn right," America gave a small huff of laughter, the fight slowly fading back, leaving a nice pool of calmness to dip into. She'd needed this.

He returned the fistbump amiably and sat back again, tipping his eyes thoughtfully up to the decaying ceiling and contemplating the mostly-hidden contours there, content to let a companionable quiet settle in for a while.
