"That is not," the doctor began, "entirely unique, in weapons. Specific memory may be gone, but certain emotional ties and paths linger. However, it is entirely possible that your weapon was once associated with a Legacy. From what we know, their time was rife with a great many alliances and battles, and the weaponization of his enemies was a common tactic used by Merlin."
Taking a seat i his chair, H leaned back and regarded jack, "Has it been at all useful to you?"

The giant grumbled in his head. "Not yet," Jack replied with a small sigh. "I've had secondhand gut instincts from him about several people, but nothing concrete aside from those ghost memories and mentions of a 'Great King.' At best, I know he leaned towards the Door of Creation in the Tower. But I wasn't aware there were weapons in the Cove that could be so old, though..."
You would not, of course, develop interest in what has passed when your attentions lie so fixed upon the present and what the living can offer in service to you instead.
"There's a lock on him the gives off green smoke when he's summoned as well. At first I had assumed it came with the territory for some weapons but..." He frowned. "A little dramatic, physically manifesting a lock over bound memories. Are there mentions of keys in the legacy lore?"

"Shame, I do hope you're keeping record of such occurrences, though. Legacies are, of course, of an interest to the organization as a whole." But perhaps not one of the doctor's. "Keys have a great deal of significance in both their lore and current events, as do locks. You woke up after the Tear and it is not unlikely that your waking up at all was due to that event. Many such locks manifested through it."

He wanted to ask more, but Owain was growing more agitated in his head (a prickling under his skin like growing vines coated with ants), and his original goal had been reached. So Jack merely nodded. Records were his forte, as was research; he didn't need to waste the doctor's time with either.
"I am looking forward to the change in schedule at any rate," he said, bowing in earnest this time and ready to leave. "Thank you for the opportunity, sir. I hope your own projects go well."
