Mirai took a moment or two to realize that the other person in the room really was Texas. He did look quite different. She frowned slightly as she continued listening to the conversation he had with the scientist and also tried to figure out what exactly to do. She glanced at SC "Any ideas on how to walk up to them or do you think we should just stroll on in there because that is the only idea I have at the moment?" she asked the girl through telepathy. They had to be quick. Even if the scientist said getting rid of the other Texas would take time, it would be better to interfere now.

Mirai made a face "Well he is different now..." she told her. She paused for a moment or two before sighing "I'll handle him I guess. I think I will be the only one that has a chance of snapping him out of it. I will leave the other guy to the both of you," she explained before glancing back into the room.

Mirai nodded as she continued watching. She took a deep breath then before moving so she was in front of the doorway and knocked on the side of the door frame before standing there. There really wasn't an excellent way of going about this. She would either casually walk in there and see what happens or attack but in such a confined space that would be a bit of a pain. She just stood there with a serious expression as her gaze went back and forth between Texas and the scientist. "Wow... he does look a like an a*****e..." she muttered quietly under her breath as she got a better look at Texas.

Texas let go of the scientist and turned fully to face Mirai. He didn't seem surprised at all. "I knew you'd come," he told her. "So this is the hybrid then?" The scientist asked. "Could I....have her body after you're done?" Texas shrugged. "I don't care what you do with it." He kept his eyes on Mirai the entire time. "You're wasting your time," he told her. "Your partner Texas is gone." SC peeked her head around the corner much like a cat would, observing the exchange silently. Mirai continued staring calmly back at Texas "Really?" she replied when he said that the Texas she knew was dead. "Well from how it sounded when you had your hands around that guy's throat, he isn't..." Mirai said. "Regardless, I came here to talk before I go to get my brothers," she told Texas. "But most likely this will turn into a fight so I don't know if we want to talk somewhere else or what..."

You make it sound like you're trying to break up or something." He shrugged. "Besides, I don't want to go anywhere. Go find your brothers or something. Mirai frowned slightly as Texas talked about the voice getting weaker and weaker. "If you think I am just going to shrug and leave, you have thought wrong," she told him. "And if you think I am going to let you kill him then you are wrong again."

Mirai raised an eyebrow at Texas. She cracked her fingers on her one hand and her wavelength spiked upward. "No. I am going to stop you," she replied, her expression still calm.
