Arian had also been waiting, a dark-haired young man who looked to be somewhere between late teens and early twenties - just another face in the crowd. His trademark braid was gone, strands of the raven black hair he'd inherited from his mother brushing his nape. It felt odd. Despite the fact that he'd hacked it off a few days prior - it still felt odd, the absence of hair making his head feel strangely light. The mass of hair had been too distinctive though, the braid too recognisable. He waited as the Negaverse celebrated, waited and watched, watched and listened. And then the signal was given, then it was time. "Athene Eternal Power, Make Up!" He'd spent so long as Athene that the words were familiar friends on his tongue as he henshined up, but he didn't stop there, shifting forms in a swirl of ethereal-looking beads from the short eternal that was form that most who knew him were probably most familiar with to a form that had once been on a need to know basis only, the sudden spike aura and white wings revealing his true form. Because the time for secrets were done. Ida's Princess power may have been healing and Hugbell's comfort, but Athene's power lay in beads. "Good Evening" he said as he approached the closest Negaverse officers, his quiet voice as polite as ever. "I know it's not the done thing to gatecrash." He raised his crystal, the Athenian crystal. "But one good turn deserves another." And then he summoned his magic. Not the trapping beads of his basic and super attacks or the protection beads that was his eternal power. No the beads he called were the inverse of the those that belonged to his eternal power, the beads of his Prince magic spreading out in an attempt to target those who were not order. He just hoped that the Dark Mirror Princess (Chariklo), had managed to pass his warning that he'd made (on the night that they'd regrouped after the camp fell) along to their Dark Mirror allies that he didn't think that magic of the beads would be limited to only affecting the Negaverse. Athene's Prince Magic Athene Crystal Power - Glowing ethereal-looking black beads with white spots target opposite aligned characters within a 30 foot radius and subjects them to a sudden bout of nausea that lasts 30 seconds Quote: Athene is open for attack

How long had it been since Megrez, no, since Luca Krantz had set foot in Destiny City's blighted shell? It had to have been more than a year. She hadn't come back to Destiny City ever since her family vanished into the aether and her house had been hollowed out. As she crept her way through the crowd during the main body of the celebration, inching her way closer and closer to the stage, she was painfully antsy. Standing there, watching the Negaverse celebrate their black triumph, grated on her nerves more than anything ever had. When the call finally came to henshin, Luca did so with a flourish, the shards of the egg of light that comprised her transformation shooting off every which way before disintegrating into sparkles and revealing the Eternal Senshi inside. People had begun to scramble around her, but that didn't change the fact that she was still smack in the middle of the crowd. Her momentum was halted by the fact that oh, right, she had to wade through people to reach her goal. With a frustrated roar, she began veritably tossing people out of her way, trying to take care to not accidentally clock a civilian but making no promises. She would make her way to that stage, and she would make her last stand firm before her life was dropped out from under her. She had visions of claiming the head of some General, or better yet, a General-Sovereign, but if she couldn't hold a head in her final moments, a limb or a finger would do. Ah, hell, what was she doing, thinking of claiming trophies that she wouldn't be able to do anything with? Her true end goal was simple: destroy as many of them as possible. Revel in the tainted blossoms that heralded the end. Walk with her comrades along the astral path to a senshi's eternity. The thought was almost adequate enough to soothe the aching hollow spaces in her heart. In between shoving people and ducking errant swings, a new battle cry rang through her mind. Rrha num gagis wis- I will become nothingness itself!* * * It hadn't even been an hour since Silas Bright had been visited by two Negaverse agents asking to bring him to headquarters for a "preliminary investigation." Now, his entire situation had been turned on its head. He was no longer Silas Bright, mild-mannered teacher, but Glitnir, Squire of Mars, playing both sides of the courthouse benches. He was defense and prosecution, and perhaps he would soon ascend to become the judge as well. The courthouse had called to him five years ago. A destiny of power ran through his veins, no, his very soul. One way or another, he would attain justice! His original plan had been to flee the city, find the Order Headquarters himself, and discuss what to do from there with the others. However, as he passed by a certain street, he nearly walked into a wall of Order auras, as if the general din of a new commotion wouldn't be enough of an alert that something was going on. Unbelievable! They're HERE!Perfect. The situation couldn't be more perfect if he had asked for them to come here himself. They were here, they were clearly setting the stage for a massive brawl, and damned if he wasn't going to join in! He charged towards the crowd, a too-wide grin spreading across his face. Spinning his scales like a flail, he crashed into a hapless lieutenant, in turn sending him crashing into some others behind him and then to the ground. Adrenaline surged through his body, and his heightened state shined through in his choice of war cry:
Quote: Megrez and Glitnir are both open for interaction/fighting! If you would like to have a hand in either of their ultimate fates, let me know!

She was going to her death. This much she was aware of. She would die here, at the hands of the Negaverse, the White Moon, whoever. At one time, death would have scared her. She would have ran from it. The idea of death, of no longer existing, once terrified her. It had led to what she was now, her corruption, her rage, her pain.
Yet, she'd died that day anyway. She'd run from everything, and everyone, and turned her back on what she believed in. She'd lost friends, family, those she cared about. Time after time she pushed them away, hurting them more and more. All to 'protect them.' Rin had turned her back on the one thing that could have saved her. Her wonder forgotten and ignored, as though corruption severed her ties from it completely. The call of the resistance, the last ditch effort Order had to fight, floated into her ears and she saw people henshin around her. Rin touched the signet ring hanging on a chain around her neck.
If you can hear me, Andronicus and Uranus, I request your aid. One last time. She could not become the bastion of neutrality, of balance, the Codex wanted. She could not become the Knight she used to be. Only purification would grant her that, and there was no longer an option for that. She may not be able to return to the 'light,' but she was still Andronicus Knight of Uranus. She was still the Wind Shield of the Compact.
It was time to act like it, and end this.
Chaos flooded her veins then, a surge of power erupting from her feet. It set her blood on fire and spiraled up, changing her. She let it consume her until the familiar cloth and armor adorned her form. Her cloak was discarded; she had no need for it here. Deep purple hair fell to her hips in the only ritual hairstyle she remembered of the Andronicus Knights. The air settled around her. It popped once more and her poleaxe appeared into her hands. Green eyes snapped open and she jumped from the rooftop. For a moment, she was of air again, she was of Andronicus and Uranus. Wind rushed through her clothing and hair and for the first time in years she felt free.
Her boots connected with an unsuspecting agent's shoulders and he crumpled the ground under her. His head cracked against the concrete with a crunch, and she felt the bones in his collarbone give way. Rogue General Andronicus spun her poleaxe without missing a beat as she stood, and cleaved his neck in two.
"Alright, assholes, let's play," she said, calmly stepping off the corpse, spinning the polearm again, and making her way into the fray.Quote: Andronicus is an Order Aligned Negaverse General. Come at her, but please do NOT kill her. I have something planned for that Kaefaux Lettin' ya know she's in here

Looking at the senshi who had appeared at her side, she had been looking in the other direction when he'd turned up at her side, Delphi was somewhat surprised by his words but then took note of his low rank. he would need her protection and she nodded her head. "I've got yours more than you've got mine. I make shields." She said with a smile gracing her face as she looked him over for a moment. He was low in rank and young...and already in the deep end of the pool.
"I'll keep you safe and if I have to I'll also use my summon." That should keep people away, good and far, she just hoped it didn't come down to that. A twelve foot cobra could, and would, scare plenty of people and cause some chaos - which she didn't want to cause.
"Stay by my side and we'll make it out of this." At least she hoped they would, that might be impossible though depending on how this went. They could easily all be killed, in which case she couldn't assure them both making it out of this. Looking around, taking in the fighting, she searched around for any Negaverse officer whom she could attack. She might make shields but she could damn well smack someone with the staff she held, going from the ground to her hip, it would cause a hell of a lot of pain to whoever was hit with it. (anyone can join these two.)

As he promised on the night that the remains of the Resistance had gathered Liryn had come.
He was in the form of the little tabby bobtail that his cat form as he watched and waited for the best opportunity, watched and waited for the signal that would launch their counter-attack.
Small he might be, but Liryn was determined to his part. Order had one strike at this - no not just Order, but all those who waited as he did for the right moment, for the chance to bring the Negaverse down and to end this once and for all.
Somewhere amongst those who waited was Athene and Ida and all those who had decided to fight in one last desperate strike.
Liryn would do no less. So he waited
It was hard to do so though, listening from his small hidey-hole as the Negaverse, smug and self-righteous, talked about crushing the Resistance, about taking down those who were - had been his friends - people with lives and hopes and dreams that the Negaverse had crushed.
And then some unidentified face yelled out the word henshin and the moment was upon him, as he felt auras ripple into being around him and he knew it was time, abandoning the temporary safety of his hidey-hole as he attempted to make his way towards the stage, knowing that was where the counter-attack forces would move towards and thus where he would be most needed.

Still grinning crazily, Chariklo quickly fell into the rhythm of her violet dance. Lunge, swerve, dodge, skateboard to the gut, to the throat, cracked over a skull. Oh sure, she'd have to drop it eventually and rely on her fists or magic, but for now, she was enjoying her improvised weapon.
Really, if she were to be honest with herself, she was reveling in this fight. Memories of her first battle as a senshi rose to her mind. That had been an ambush as well. Her career as a senshi seemed to be full of ambushes. What the hell was up with that? Rather than think too hard about it, she simply gave herself up to the fight.
A quick glance around showed her Athene doing his thing and she was glad to be just far enough away from the effects of his magic. And she hoped the other Dark Mirrors in this fight had listened to her. Well, if they hadn't it was too late now.
Another glance showed Ida making her way towards the dark Princess. Swinging her board like a scythe, she did her best to clear a path to meet the Transcended halfway. At least Bischofite was gone. That was one giant mercy. She and Ida wouldn't have to worry about crazy, grudge inspired tar monsters this time.
"We shoulda done this a long time ago, girlfriend," she called. Then, because a sense of mortality hit hard and fast, she used a lull to reach out and grasp for Ida's hand. "For what it's worth, I'm sorry we had to fight on opposite sides for so long. I'm damn proud and happy to fight beside you now."
Wrinkling her nose in a smile, she turned back to the fight and brought her foot up in a vicious kick intended to destroy soft tissue as another startled and overeager officer tried to bring his weapons to bear on her.

[LEXI POST]
It was time. All the discussions, all the arguments, the debates and the late nights. Everything had come down to this, this one final decision. It was time. It was now.
Those that couldnt stay or fight or just didnt have it in them to say anymore had left. Escaping the danger the only way they could and for now they were safe. Maybe one day they could come back, regroup and learn from the mistakes made by those standing here or maybe they would never see this place again. Either way those that were here knew this was their final mission. It wasn't about winning anymore, that time had long gone. It was about making one final impact, that when the Negaverse looked back on this day it would be with fear and trepidation at what the Senshi and the Knights could do. It would hurt, it would be damning and those that fought this fight it would be a victory.
As Lexi watched both Chariklo, Athene and Ida transform she felt the first tug of pride and fear. They were warriors, each and everyone one of them and right now they shone. Shone so brightly against the back drop of dark uniforms that Lexi wanted to weep. They were glorious in their last moments, truly beautiful in their revenge and time slowed. She watched as Ida pulled back her bow taunt, her mouth set in a grimace as she fired into the audience, she caught how Athene pulled the beads from the very air striking them towards his foe and she wanted to smile at how even now Chariklo could still find the fun in any situation. These peoples were her allies, they were her friends and right now they were her family. She would do everything in her power to keep them standing and as the world caught up with the room began Lexi screamed her transformation sequence with a lightened heart.Quote: [Sailor Bohlinia is up for fighting but not death, pre-destined plots are in play already!] ~#~ [ATE POST]
Ate had watched the party progress with little more than a raised eyebrow. Her mouth was usually set in a permanent scowl nowadays unless she was feeding or killing....or killing while feeding - really any combination of the two resulted in the the raven hair ascended to smile. Right now though she had had her fill on watching the meat bags dance and eat and enjoy themselves on a job well done. It was pathetic. They were doing what was merely expected of them, what was demanded of them by their Goddess. How dare they think it was something to be celebrated when they got it right. Simply there was no other option than to get it right and yet here they were, having fun. Ate promised herself she would mediate on it later having found the solitude of the act a calming presence on her tortured and often erratic mind, if she didn't she couldn't control the urges she felt when she watched these worms feast in the name of Metalia.
And yet as if on cue, her Goddess, her mistress sent her a gift. A beautiful, perfect gift.
The senshi were attacking. They were all here.
And they all looked so delicious.
"Ahhh..... my Queen, thank you for this bounty I am about to receive..." She touched her hand to her chest where her star seed should rest before touching her forehead, her eyes alight with lust and hunger as she watched the humans attacking each other. It was radiant, it was magnificent.
It was food.Quote: [Sailor Ate is happy to kill! Nothing changed there! Quote me if you want a direct attack, if not she will hit anyone she can in her next post!]

"I don't want ya to worry about keepin' me safe, it's about fighting, and standin' here and yakin' ain't gonna help." He stood close though. All this tough talk didn't change the fact that he was scared. Excited, but scared. Excited to fight and to make a difference but scared about death. Waffle wasn't a complete fool! He knew he was weak and he could barely feel his own signature among the waves of powered folk here. He had not even awakened a month ago and here he was fighting with the big folk. Willing to die right along side them. Something told him he could have done better as a drummer boy than a fighter. Like back in the civil war or something. But this was a call everyone to fight kinda war. There was no place for him like that. "Come on, let's go make sure all the civ's are out of this. And.. And then we can fight. We can do that, right?"

Corrupted Eternal Zephyr made an appearance for one of the few times. It was an important time for him to be present. It appeared that the senshi and knights that they had thought were mere annoyances that was a problem that had been dealt with.. was apparently not dealt with so cleanly. Well, it was better to have this fight at one particular time than to continue with the skirmishes that had plagued them for so long.
Whisking his dark coat around him, he knew that he felt the finality of this battle for another reason. Ever since he had been converted, he felt an emptiness and a void that could never be fulfilled. Perhaps this fight would accomplish it? "Well then, let's get on with it."

"Yes, and my magic is for protection more than anything." Not to mention the barrier she could use could give a hell of a nasty shock, and send someone back, so it did have it's offensive uses she supposed. "If I have to fight I'll have to do it in a less than magical manner." She stated with a shrug of her shoulders. "Either way lets get to fighting."
Reaching out to grasp onto the senshi's uniform she sought to pull him along with her. As she walked, moving around bodies, she swung the staff she held, hoping to crack some negaverse skulls as she went. "We can fight and protect the civilians. We can't just focus on them, they can run out of here on their own. We need to focus on the enemy more than anything. if any of us falter on that goal, engaging the enemy, we could find ourselves with not enough people fighting them and letting them have another victory." And this victory would be the big one, the one which counted the most and would bring them all to an end if they lost.
"Just start attacking any officer which you see. I'll back you up if they come after us. But we need to focus on them."

Ida met Chariklo in the midst of the fighting, a small space created by their combined efforts that gave them a short bit of calm, like the eye of a storm. She grasped the other's hand in hers and gave it a strong squeeze, if even Chari's smile was echoed in only the smallest lift to the corners of Orah's mouth.
"No regrets, Chari." She said, her voice calm despite the grip of her hand. "We can't change the past. We're here now, that's what matters."
There was no sense dwelling on things... Live for the moment, because the moment was fleeting. The doomsday clock was ticking down fast and she could feel every second like the beat of her heart. Bohlinia came to life behind her and Ida turned to seek out her sister, taking comfort in her nearness. When their hands parted, Ida stretched her senses wide for the General-Soverigns. They were her target today, they were the ones that needed to be removed at all costs.
An officer rushed Ida and she dodged his swing as she stumbled backwards. Recovering, she hit him back, sending him toppling with the force of her punch.
"Beautiful Petal Barrage!" The princess called out as she chose her super attack, sending glowing darts spraying outwards at the crowd of officers in the way. Arrows were stronger, but the darts were better for multiple targets.

The sudden blooming of Order signatures all around him made Kerberos perk up. Oh, they just would not lay down, and while on the one hand he might be annoyed, on the other - well. He did so enjoy fighting them.
'Stay safe, and out of my magic's range,' he thought to Adonis, and then sought through the crowd for a good target. And - aha, he could see her, a Transcendent. The one who had shot at him in the ambush. Well, he had drained the life out of a Transcendent once. Perhaps doing ti again would further repair the terrible damage done to his body by the last one. And so he teleported over, to her - and her little friend, and the Dark Mirror Princess.
"How brave of you to attack us, after we tore apart your little camp," he said, "it's too bad it won't amount to anything. Asphodel's Requiem."Asphodel's Requiem! Sailor Kerberos says the name of his attack and spreads his arms, and in a radius of ten feet around him, a field of asphodel flowers grows up. Anyone, Chaos or Order, within the radius except Kerberos experiences crippling grief and hopelessness. In addition, the affected characters see a vision of someone they care about dying or dead. If they attempt to interact with this vision, they will find it insubstantial and untouchable, and the illusion will vanish, but the feelings of grief and hopelessness otherwise induced by the attack will remain for the duration (as they're separate from the illusion itself). This attack lasts for 40 seconds. Sailor Kerberos can use this attack once per battle. Twilight Jaws bleev chari should be in magic range! Tali was deeply uncomfortable being back in the city. She knew she was a wanted woman, and so she had taken steps to conceal her identity - a large hat, hair tucked up under it, clothing that was far too big for her (not hard, really), and, for the moment, a return to her quiet, mousy personality. Making herself small made her unnoticeable.
And it was enough for her to make it until the call went out.
'I pledge my life and loyalty to Mimisbrunnr, and to Mercury,' she thought, 'please, grant me your protection just this one last time - so that I may grant you mine.'
And then she reached into herself, and called up her bow, and in a cold glow of light she became Mimisbrunnr Transcendent Knight of Mercury.Quote: Mimisbrunnr is open for interaction! I would like her to be CAPTURED, not killed! Very few people knew that Faith MacKenna was Asmodeus. Most of them were in the Dark Mirror Court. The number was small enough that she felt rather unworried about showing up as herself, in clothing that drew the eye to her - a poofy lolita dress, a big hairstyle. She was a society girl, and the more people who were wondering at her clothes, the fewer that were wondering at her.
When the call went out for Order to rise, she grinned, calling up her pen.
"Asmodeus Eternal, Make Up!" She called. In a burst of fire and glowing demonic sigils, Faith melted away, and the Senshi of the Inferno stood in her place.
It was time to let 'em all burn.Quote: Asmodeus is open for interaction! Also, hmu if you would like to kill her, I'd like her to die kinda horribly!

General-Queen ShadeiteShe felt the blossoming of Order auras like the biting of gnats, her eyes flicking towards the sources as the General-Queen pushed herself to her feet from the chain she occupied on the stage.
This was a displeasing development... she had known some of the vermin had escaped in the storm of battle. She had even set plans in place to hunt them down and mop up the last of the resistance, but she had been over ruled and those plans set aside in favor of this boorish celebration. The chance of a return attack had not be ignored, but the chance of it happening had been low. Still... this did save her the trouble of the hunt and that sense of efficiency was pleasing.
Pulling out her crystal, Shadeite spoke into it in an even voice, her commands simple and to the point and broadcast on a wide channel.
"The resistance is attacking. Kill them all."
The time for capture was past. Better to kill every last one and be done with it. She was so close to the completion of this phase of her plans and the start of the next... nothing would stop her.
With her commands issued, Shadeite swept her eyes over the crowd and chose the closest target. It was time to begin the mop up and the little red head would be the first. Boots pacing even, regular steps, the General-Queen descended and made her way through the crowd, the lesser officers scattering from her path when they saw her coming.

Damocles had to resist the urge to groan the second Tantalus expelled his magic. "Don't waste it." The blonde hissed, grabbing Tantalus' arm. Damocles couldn't blame him though. Alistair had waited as long as he could be for making an appearance at the camp. He was hurting, he was hurting bad. They all were. They had lost most of their family in just a few short moments. Lost, and some were still unaccounted for. People were missing and it was to much of a risk to find out where they where. "I need you to keep your god damn head here Tantalus." The blonde growled, wishing the other had listened and stayed hom. --- Lellouch's fingers twitched from a mixture of the order signatures around her but from the other ascendeds. She kept her distance from the others, while at the same time keeping tabs on where they were. That stupid dog was likely to get himself into trouble.. It was if he lost a few (dozen) IQ points when he ascended. ... Oh no wait, there he goes running his mouth... Lellouch rolled her eyes with a small huff, the breathe shifting her bangs. When was he going to learn to just go at it with out ******** talking?? Dumbass would learn eventually. Her thoughts were pulled from the mangy mutt when she heard an all to familiar voice screech above the rest. And where he was... that one was bound to follow... The blonde grinned, mind slowly slipping into the various ways this could end. Each one was better then the last.. Let's see how much she could break them.

MegrezThere was a massive, massive Chaos aura in the crowd, one that could only belong to a General-Sovereign. And it was making its way toward Megrez, inching closer and closer with the tempo of steady footsteps. She turned in its general direction, and it didn't take her too long to identify the source. That was definitely a General-Queen coming her way, and if Megrez knew her stray propaganda posters correctly, this one was Shadeite. Opportunity was knocking, clearly. Perhaps Megrez could take a higher-up's head or else advance to eternity after all. She could do a little something before Shadeite got to her. There were certainly enough enemies around to justify an area-of-effect attack. Hopefully people would notice the giant ascending egg soon enough to brace themselves for an eggy rain. Tracing an egg shape with her hands, the massive egg popped into existence in front of her and began to rise. If Shadeite or anyone else didn't catch the egg on its way up, it would explode. Megrez began a mental countdown: 10... 9... 8...Eggsplosion! Eternal Sailor Attack: Eggsplosion! Tracing an egg shape with her hands, Megrez conjures a huge (4 foot tall) egg in front of her. The egg will rise about ten feet into the air and then explode in ten seconds, releasing a hail of smaller eggs (like those of her Sailor level attack) on everyone in a ten-foot area (it does not discriminate between enemies and allies). It will also injure people via eggshell shrapnel. There is a very small "safe area" directly below the giant egg where no smaller eggs will fall. The giant egg can be destroyed by an attack before it unleashes the egg rain, but it will still explode after being destroyed (no egg goop or smaller eggs will come out, but the shrapnel will still be a problem, especially for the person closest to the egg). The shrapnel and goop from the egg hail last for 40 seconds before they disappear. Can only be used once per battle. --- GlitnirIn between climbing over and through various Negaverse agents, Glitnir thought he saw a familiar uniform passing in and out of sight. Being taller than average gave him a good vantage point, but there was still a lot of scrambling people. After a few more glances (between which he had to periodically duck to dodge blows), he felt certain he recognized the snippets of uniform enough to conclude that he might knew who was up ahead. After shoving (or tossing) some assorted Negaverse agents aside, he finally got in Mimisbrunnr's vicinity and called out to her. "Hey! C'mon, let's do this, Mars and Mercury, eh?" It occurred to Glitnir that he had not learned her Knight name (only her civilian name), and that she had only met him while he was a civilian and so wouldn't recognize him in Knight form. Well, that didn't matter quite so much. It was the principle of the thing, of teaming up with another night in the name of Order.
