Braith gave a bright smile and said, "Sure, perhaps that can be our way of celebrating after we discover the vast treasure hidden amongst the ruins." He was sure that if they actually by some stroke of luck found a giant treasure then surely they could pay off that friend of Grrel's with some of it and get her to cook them a mountain of food! Mmm, a mountain of food he thought to himself, almost drooling at his own thought before he shook his head. Best to keep such thoughts from invading lest he get side tracked he told himself.
The big Firani wouldn't admit to how relieved he felt when Grrel agreed with him about avoiding both the big city and the Aeduan. It meant that they would be able to avoid the worst of the danger that this area threatened them with. There were sure to be many other things standing between them and the treasure that he hoped existed but at least that counted out two big dangerous he thought to himself. As Grrel took to the sky Braith trotted along for a moment on the ground before he realized that there would be no way that he would be abel to keep up with her down here. That meant flying even though he only did that when he had to. He supposed that this was one of those 'have to' moments.
Shifting to his Khehora form he opened his wings, which were much bigger in this form, and lifted himself up off the ground and flew along after her. He'd do his best to keep up with her even though he would have preferred a more leisurely walk to the ruins. He supposed if they had walked that it would have taken forever for them to get to where they were going, he wouldn't have complained but it would have taken a lot longer to find their treasure that way. Once he was able to get far enough into the air that he was near to the same level as her he called out, "Been a while since I have actually gone flying for all that long a distance, truly you must be the most inspirational beauty around these parts." The fact that she got Braith moving at all said a lot, the fact that she'd gotten the lazy Firani to actually fly, that just proved her 'motivational prowess' as it were.
